Softball field is not great, its small and there is no fence, right field backs onto one of the soccer nets which is strange as I dont know how you could safely play both at the same time. This is however one of the only places with a concrete block wall with nothing around it which you could practice tennis solo or as I do throw a softball against it to warm up my arm. There is also a kids park and bike paths going through it. As another review mentioned there is a lot of construction being done on what looks to be a power station that somewhat impairs the parking lot.

Walk my dog here, he loves it, away from traffic so off leash he goes. I take him away from the structure when he goes off leash. Lots of squirrels to chase.

Beautiful family park with large mature trees. I really loved it. A must visit park for young family. Nice slides.

Been doing construction work in the parking lot for over a year and around the parking lot smells of sewage but in main field for baseball, soccer and the play structures is ok. JULY AUGUST SEPTEMBER you'll be dealing with Gnats (little black bugs around the face)

Dropped by when biking, nice park! Not too big, but many fun there.

This park is a great local community park. It hosts a basket ball net, a cinder block wall for practicing tennis, a baseball diamond with benches (no bleechers), and a soccer field. Plenty of open Green space for playing as well as a play structure for kids. There is an accessible paved walkway around the perimeter of the park. Plenty of people walk their dogs here. Although the official by-laws state no dogs off leash, their is a friendly dog walking community, and the fenced perimeter would actually make it an ideal location for some off leash play and obedience practice. There have been rumours of some neighbours calling bylaw for off leash dogs and excessive barking, however I have not experienced this in the past 7 years. The park is connected to a paved recreation path that travels both side of the adjoining railway tracks. This pathway makes for a perfect walking or running loop and joins multiple neighbourhoods. During the summer fields and diamonds are busy with planned legues, so check local schedules or book through the city if you want to plan a community event.

It's a fairly large park. It's nice but also very similar to other parks.

Great sand pit and play structures for toddlers and small children. Some locals have taken to contributing toys for anyone to play with, which is great for the little ones.

Lovely park I have done walks here with my girlfriend in spring, summer, fall (haven't walked through it or spent time in the winter) and it's always a pleasant fairly quiet (when there isn't soccer or some activity being held on the field in summer/spring) time. :)
