Parked at P9 off Moodie, lots of space. Some picnic tables on edge of P9. Washrooms at P9. I walked every trail except one where the boardwalk is damaged they closed it. Varied ecosystems provide for huge variety. Very picturesque.

An excellent trail for all seasons, but more so in the winter.

Lots of chipmunks and you can spot nice birds on this trail. Nice flat trail that is connected to other trails in area. Good boardwalks. There is ample parking at the main entrance and washrooms are available.

This trail was amazing. There are so many different paths you can walk on and they connect to so many other local trails. A nice addition is the birds here are so friendly. If you are looking for a nice place to feed them I highly recommend it. It wasnโ€™t busy at all and I loved how we were going between the forest area and the marsh. Canโ€™t wait to come back in the summer

Very nice and quiet trails with variety of scenery and a few boardwalks. Mostly flat but in some parts you will encounter exposed roots and rocks. Lots of birds and critters, mainly chickadees and some nuthatches, juncos and blue jays. And if you got really lucky, you may see deer.

Amazing place to visit to find some peace around birds. Squirrels and birds are very friendly and with some patience, you can feed them off your hands. Keep a packet of seeds and experience it.

Great trail all year round! This trail is especially fun for kids as the birds will eat seeds from your hands and the squirrels are always running around. Stop by bulk barn on the way for seeds and nuts! There are multiple trails offering walks from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. Even when the parking lot is packed youโ€™ll still have lots of room to explore without crossing paths with people too often.

One of the most beautiful trail visted.. Good for cycling Walking any kind. Even in winters too Get you ski or snow shoeing. Its really good experience. But only thing I donโ€™t like is dogs are not allowed. But Got so many good views and a-lot of birds around. Few different trails and one must hike emโ€™ll Got 2-3 different parking slots too. Must go and spend sone quality time with nature.

We love this trail. The birds and animals are friendly and expecting food. Great walk and experience for the whole family. The only negative is that the boardwalk needs to be repaired. It has been worn-out for a long while but not repaired.

One of the best places in Ottawa to take a nice hike and interact with wildlife ๐Ÿ™‚ Just be respectful, don't litter ๐Ÿšฎ

Beautiful trail and easy hike. My children and I opted for a shorter option (30 min to reach the end). It is a kid friendly trail. Great for bird feeding. Well maintained but very mudy in some patches and as a heads up too many mosquitoes. You will see cute chipmunks and squirells and a variety of birds and beautiful wild mushrooms as well among other things. Parking available at P9 with washrooms and a couple of picnic tables. Not very stroller friendly because of the tree roots and stones so it would be hard to manage the stroller unless you have a heavy duty stroller and you are up for the challenge. You will find a map at the entrance which will help you decide how to go with your hike if you prefer a longer or shorter option and at each point there are banners and another copy of the map to help you juggle your way through and stay on track without getting lost.

Good place to see the chickadees. Walking trail is relatively flat and very easy with young kids. However, I don't recommend strollers due to rocks and roots.

Great hiking place, clean. FYI dogs are not allowed. A portion of the board walk is closed off as some places are unstable and need fixing.

Great trail! Just 10min from Barrhaven ๐Ÿ‘ is perfect for a nice family walk. Some of the bridges are broken and could be dangerous for small kids. Nonetheless very peaceful and thereโ€™s lots of little chipmunks around eating seeds that people bring.

Nice trail area. Very well marked trail with clear maps along the way. Good for awhile or walk as well as wildlife spotting.

I visit this trail every year twice. Once in the fall to visualize all of the changing colours in the trees, as well as once in the spring once the snow is melted and the greenery is flourishing once again. In my opinion it is perfect for families, runners and bikers. As it consists of an entire trail system the length of your visit is totally up to you. ๐Ÿ‘

We went to Jack Pine trail for the first time and it was so much fun. We took a left at the main path and then turned around and went back up the main path. We didn't get to far down the path before the chickadees made an appearance. Such a magical experience!

A great little trail! It's beautiful to walk through and well maintained. The path has been packed down nicely every time I've gone and I've been back many times. I would recommend it for winter hikes and snowshoeing. I believe you can cross country ski there, but I'm not 100%. There is ample parking in the lot and on the side of the road, but be aware there is a no dog policy on this trail.

First time here. I love it and so do my kids! Even my 12 year old boy who only ever wants to play video games! lol Seriously great place. Bring seeds if you would like to feed the Chipmunks but even if you don't they will still come sit on your foot just to say Hi! :) Don't step on any, they really like to hang around humans!

Good trails, some damaged boardwalks. Fed many birds and chipmunks, almost had a Bluejay eat from my hand.

Some great beginner mountain bike trails as well as hiking trails. Everyone was very courteous with the multi-use trail. Even on a busy Sunday afternoon.

Beautiful trail, sun, shade.. bathrooms were open during covid which was nice. Kinda sucked to see ppl not respecting the 'don't feed the wildlife' and 'no dogs' signs but hey. Beautiful spot, maybe not so friendly for younger kids. Lots of rocks and roots sticking out of the ground - definitely not wheelchair accessible. All in all beautiful spot, I'll be back :)

Nice trail, a few short boardwalks and lots of chipmunks and red squirrels.
