This is my go to place for breakfast. The pancakes are delicious and I am obsessed with the breakfast poutine. I come here often with my kids and they love it as well. They have a cool robot that brings the food. They don’t use it all the time but I am sure you could ask if you were here with your kids for the excitement. I have had great servers and quick service.

This was a great meal. Not too salty, which is hard to nail when it comes to sauces and gravy. Service was quick as well, bonus is they were very accommodating of our newborn. The onion rings were perfectly cooked. Crispy and very flavorful. The coffee was exactly what I needed. Very clean and very presentable location. 3 cheers for Denny's Hip hip holy smokes this meal was incredible.

I ordered the Lumberjack Slam and my wife the All American Slam. Both were excellent! Ready within 10 minutes. The Lumberjack Slam comes with more stuff for pretty much the same price. Everything tasted fresh and well cooked. The young server was great. I had a great first experience here, will likely go back. Great pricing for the quantity.

The citrusy goodness of the juice provided a burst of tangy flavor that perfectly complemented the breakfast fare that awaited me. For my main dish, I opted for the new slow cooker meaty melt, and boy, was it a revelation! The combination of tender, slow-cooked meat and melted cheese on perfectly toasted bread was nothing short of mouthwatering. The flavors melded together in perfect harmony, creating a satisfying and savory experience. Each bite was filled with rich, comforting flavors that had me longing for more. My friend went with the classic all American slam, which featured crispy bacon and white toast. It was a breakfast delight that didn't disappoint. The bacon was cooked to perfection, offering a delightful crunch, while the toast added a light and fluffy texture to the dish. It was a true representation of classic American breakfast done right. Now, I must address the unfortunate circumstance that occurred during our visit. A car crash had left a giant hole in the wall of the restaurant, causing an unpleasant cold breeze to permeate the dining area. This did detract from the overall comfort of the dining experience, making it slightly uncomfortable to sit and enjoy our meal fully. However, I commend the staff for their quick response and attempts to minimize the inconvenience caused by the incident. Despite this setback, I cannot overlook the exceptional taste and quality of the food at Denny's. The orange juice provided a refreshing start to the meal, while the strawberry banana smoothie and slow cooker meaty melt were undeniable highlights of the experience. The all American slam also met and exceeded expectations, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to delivering classic breakfast favorites. While the unfortunate incident did impact the ambiance, the delicious food and attentive service overshadowed this temporary inconvenience. I would highly recommend Denny's for anyone seeking a delectable and satisfying dining experience.

Awesome place to have all day breakfast! Everything we ordered was so delicious. My personal favorite is the skillet... which I always order. I will definitely visit again 😋

We had a nice breakfast here the other day, and everything was super tasty. Despite being packed, the service was fast, and the server was very nice. The highlight of our visit was definitely the robot server! It is so cute and entertaining.

Very disappointed for false advertising. Was told that I had to pay extra to have the vegetables as shown in the menu. On top of that the piece of salmon was half the size including the portion of vegetables. I get that Covid and the inflation is the cause of this but at least be honest and update the menu with the real portions. Don’t advertise something else and not deliver.

Food was delicious as always. The human server was very polite as was the robot server. 🤣 We'll be back!

Food was par for Dennys. Nothing overly good but not bad either. Our server (Lesley) was very quick taking orders and refilling drinks (without needing to be waved down!)

Wow was just at The Dennys in woodland square in Guelph Ont Clean, new and friendly, plus Dennys is opening all over Ontario. Our waitress Kimberly did a wonderful job with the service she provided. We had the skillet breakfast and cinnamon chunks pancakes delicious. There eggs Benny and crepes also excellent. Dennys a must try, loads of variety and great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Came here for breakfast on a Saturday. I ordered the build your own grand slam. You can pick 4 items. I had the hard poached eggs, brown toast, sausage and hashbrowns. The breakfast was underwhelming. The sausages were thin and there were only two. The eggs had this watery/oily film to it. The hashbrowns were all right. Toast was good. Husband got the french toast with bacon, sausage and eggs. The french toast was pretty good. Service was very good!

The standard for a great breakfast all around. Friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent menus that offer a wide variety of options for anyone in the family all around. Additional choices are available, and many add ons (french, toast, pancakes, extra bacon/sausage for example) are all well priced. Free breakfasts on birthdays might still be available too? All I can say, these guys keep on giving this effort they will always get 5 stars!

Could be 5 stars but they don't do free birthday grand slams here. The Denny's website says they should, it's not really the restaurants fault anyway. Most of our group was having a first time Denny's experience and all were satisfied. The food was fantastic in my opinion and the vibes pretty good.

Trevor our waiter was fun and gracious. Food was great as usual. We had the All American slam breakfast and the Philly cheese steak omelet. We went in a Sunday so it was fairly busy. We waited less than 10 minutes before we got a table. Nice family restaurant!!

Pretty great service, felt very welcome and everything was taken care of despite how busy the place is. However i dont think the burger is the star of this location. Poutine was a delight to have and their smoothie was a good mix of refreshing without losing flavour

Great food. I had some mac and cheese with the chicken tenders dinner, and it was fire. The chili sauce isn’t very good, but the service was pretty good. The waiters never came around for water refills, which is necessary if you plan on eating anything spicy.

It was my first time at Denny's and enjoyed the robot service. Our waiter was exceptional serving our table of 6. Lots of menu choices for our breakfast and delicious. Will definitely go back when visiting Ottawa again.

Had dinner there for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised at the new dinner options on the menu. Additionally, our server Rania truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! It's not easy dining with young children and she was always ready when we needed something or there was a spill, haha. She even made sure the kids' meal was split and served on two separate plates for them! Thank you for the phenomenal service!!

The food was just ok, for what it is. The environment was fairly clean - except for the robot waiter who delivered our food - they need to clean that more often. The waiters are bit pushy/rushy. It was as if we were dining at a regular fast food joint. Not as great as I have had it with other Dennys. Overall ok service.

Great place for American breakfast. I loved the American Nashville sandwich. The pancakes were good but not great. Recommend it for good service.

Food was delicious, very busy, with our son, daughter in law and grandkids, we all loved the smiley robot that delivered our food...and before I hear, IT'S REPLACING PEOPLE!! It isn't, your server comes with it and gives us our plates, just saves a lot of walking and gets all the food to the table at once.

Great menu with a lot of options. Food tasted great, good service and the portion sizes were very generous. We tried their cookie dessert and it was out of this world. Would definitely recommend.

Love Denny's breakfast! Had the regular eggs & bacon and their shredded hashbrowns- sooo good! Great COVID precautions in place and the staff are wonderful. We'll be back.

Hello and Goodbye :( Have been going to Denny's for 5 plus years. Always loved the food, still do... usually have the same male waiter /great personality :) BUT after being regulars for YEARS , we were taken advantage of i feel. we went for breakfast and i was not really hungry, so i just ordered a " grilled cheese" figuring that would be lots for me.. Enjoyed our breakfast , received the bill , AND , "Oh my God" $11.29 for (1) one grilled cheese (two brown bread, 1 cheese slice ) i asked if it was a mistake... he simply replied "no" if you have it as a platter its better , you get more. ARE YOU KIDDING ME !! Why up front would he not have said that, seeing we were there all the time and he is always "tipped" very well.. NOT GOING BACK :( Also .. even though you spend $15 plus on an entree your still charged $3.19 for a COFFEE .. come on people... James and Ann

Love this place eventhough it's a bit far for me(in the area of Clyde, Merivale). I still take the time to go. Good food, ambiance and the owner and her son are the best. They make you feel welcome and wanting to come back.

Food was excellent, service was efficient, there wasn't even a wait, it was that quick. Leslie was a fantastic server, very professional and friendly. Will definitely return and recommend.
