This is a five guys, its just as good as any other one around ontario. They did give us a burger with the meat by accident but they were on shift change so understandable mistake.

Burger was very bland and grey in colour. Toppings and bun were good but overall not flavourful at all. Fries were a bit stale. Awesome milkshake at least.. Not a great meal like I remembered it last time.

Would love to say the food was good - as it usually is however after 2 Fries it’s safe to say I’ve had my sodium intake for the year. Old stale fries covered in more salt than a pretzel. Garbage.

Nothing average about Five Guys - amazing burgers & fries - this location was a bit small though. Very chilly evening in Ottawa and the temp at our table dropped below freezing each time the door opened.

Absolutely amazing quality beef !! The assembly line of staff is very impressive! The floors were shiny clean . The store was very busy but the staff quickly and with quality served our food. I was thrilled at the taste of the burgers! I am not a big meat eater , but they stand by there quality and no hormones meet! Will definitely be going back ! One of our new favourite “burger” stops!! Thanks for offering such quality grown products! Rare find in fast food world!

I was a fan until yesterday... everything was too oily. The employee put the fries upside down in the paper bag, making it useless and forcing us to try to eat out of an oily paper bag. The fries were burnt anyway so we couldnt eat them. I asked and paid for extra gravy and cheese. The fries however were as dry as the Kalahari desert, and way too oily. Never again.

Always awesome burgers from this location! We normally go here before concerts or hockey games because it’s close enough to the Canadian Tire Centre but not as busy as some of the other options.

The world's most saltiest fries. We stopped in just to grab some fries for a snack on the drive home. I couldn't finish them because they were so salty. If I go back to try the burgers, I'm definitely asking for no salt on my fries and just adding it myself. Other than the over salting, the fries were very good, so I'm a little disappointed.

I visited this location today around 5pm. I ordered a hot dog and fries. The hot dog was great but the fries tasted like they double cooked them, like they cooked then and hung the basket and cooked them again. Unfortunate. The other locations don't taste like that.

The atmosphere is great and the staff are always super friendly. Plus, they have free peanuts which is a nice touch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious meal and a good time!

Someone brought me a Five Guys Regular hamburger home for my dinner tonight. I've heard good things, so I was really looking forward to a "knock-out" burger. I can't tell you how disappointed I was. Upon my first sloppy bite (the thing was floating in a watery sauce) the bun peeled away from the incredibly dry patty which broke apart in two in my hands. It was dry beyond belief, and the char on the edges tasted like it was off a dirty backyard BBQ grill. I've had cheap frozen patties that were tastier and juicier. Is this what all the fuss is about? Sorry Guys. Hard pass for me on the hockey puck sandwich next time.

My husband and I just paid 50$ to each eat a burger, fries & a drink. The burgers were bland and flavorless and the fries were over cooked. I could have paid that amount to feed my 5 person family twice and it taste way better. I'm very disappointed. :(

*Sometimes their burgers & fries are absolutely excellent, crispy salty fries, fresh buns, hot melty cheesy burger perfection with cold fresh tomatoes and lettuce....other times it's slightly warm burger, over crisp bacon, cold cheese not melted, warm tomato, wilted lettuce etc.... when it's great it's just awesome, the other times it's just so-so.... it merits 3☆'s on average.

I was shocked to visit this place. A tall, aggressive and unprofessional girl approached me. She is unprofessional, rude and not good for business. Her behavior is really unacceptable. She needs to be re-trained for the business. Otherwise, the business will definitely lose a lot of customers. I really do not recommend anyone to go there.

Combos would be nice and a kids combo as well. Almost 70 dollars for 2 burgers and 2 small burgers a bag full of greasy soaked fries. The restaurant was filty, food all over the floor and tables. Will never visit again.

Havent been to a five guys I havent liked. The one thing I will complain and not buy again are the milkshakes. Too fake, too sweet, really bad and not sure who approved it being sold.

Best burgers we ever had. We do not have a five guys locally so whenever we are on a trip we MUST stop at five guys. The food was fresh, well cooked, rightly seasoned and hot too. Staff was courteous and friendly. Will come back for sure!

So I am (was) a big lover of Five Guys. Till today 20 Sept 2020. I really think the oil was way overdue. No taste to these fries at all. The picture with the burger is to show no photo shop here. The colors are what you see. The fries are one thing. But when the bun was crumbling apart it tells me that it was stale. Not fresh. Very disappointed. Did I complain ? no because far to many people waiting for food and well I hope they are happier. Will be looking for a new burger joint in Kanata. !!

One of my go to places for a quick and satisfying meal! This location served peanuts when I visited, which is one of the perks of Five Guys. Fries are amazing but the best part was actually the Veggie burger with cheese!

A tasty if simple burger. The restaurant was unbearably hot (like 30 degrees C). The fries were ok, but having been cooked in peanut oil, we didn’t dare eat many.

Awful experience here tonight. We ordered and paid, and the receipt never came out. The cashier called over a lady who held up both cashes trying to figure out what had happened, with no luck. A manager finally came and tried to assist while we stood there not understanding what was happening for over 5 minutes, when he finally grabbed an old receipt and asked us for the order again so he could write it down and give it to the kitchen. I asked what was going on and he just said it didn't go through, even though I did pay for it and saw it approved.. absolutely zero apology or direction from there. We finally got the food and took one look in the bag and they just dumped the entire cup of Cajun spiced fries over the burgers. How do they expect anyone to even get to their food with this practice? We've gone to many Five Guys before and never had such a poor customer service experience. To boot, the fries were awful, almost a sponge like texture. Thankfully the burgers still tasted good, or else it would be a 1 star review.

The customer service is out of this world! Our order had been mixed up a while ago, they replaced it ALL free of charge! The portions are awesome, and the food was full of flavour! Thank you for an awesome experuence!

Great food Good staff Only reason they aren't rated higher is they prioritize skip the dishes/Uber eats. If you go in expect to wait until after they have been served

Legendary burgers and fries. Excellent service. Highly recommend the chocolate milkshake. Food quality makes the cost of entry palatable.

Five Guys makes one of the best burgers out there and they always give you tons of extra fries. Love the free peanuts as well. Pricier than most burger joints but worth it.

Very disappointing. I ordered a veggis sandwich which was the cheapest item at 5 dollars. I asked for no green peppers and sub jalapeno. After waiting for 15 minutes for my food, I took a bite and it was incredibly bland with just a hint of spice from the jalapeno. The burger looked great but it's not worth the hype.

Can't go wrong with a 5 Guys burger. Quality is always good and service is friendly. Nice clean location.

Unfortunately this franchise has completely lost it's appeal. Last 3 orders did not get anything that we ordered right! Order: poutine, with fried onions, fried mushrooms and a beef patty, got fries with curds and a patty and barely any gravy. Two burgers, neither of them had the proper condiments on them, ordered a side of gravy, never received the gravy, had 2 fries only wanted the seasoning on one it was on both ...this is the final order from our family, disgraceful

I love eating here. One of the best burgers I’ve had. Employees need to pay attention more to the orders. I’ve asked for All the way on my burgers on two separate occasions. They have forgotten to put lettuce and tomato on my burger twice. How do you forget basic items on a burger?

It always comes down to the fries..... I thought the burgers were decent and were.....burgery. Let's talk about the fries, they weren't crispy on the outside and velvety on the inside like we all want a delicious fried potato to be. The texture was the same throughout and I might even venture to say that the fries are actually far below average. I got the Cajun fries so I might want to try the regular ones before I write of their fries forever. Service was great - very quick and everyone was really nice. There is one thing that will bring me back here- it's the peanuts! These peanuts that are given away for FREE in an all-you-can-eat format were actually some of the best peanuts I've had! Next time I come, I am going to see if they have onion rings. For a place that specializes in just two things, they got to get their fries right.

I came into this branch today to pickup an order I made online as I regularly do, only to find out my order was somehow sent to a Montreal branch instead. The staff were really kind to remake my order for me. Great customer service and great food!
