I like that place. Always go there for a great selection of the unusual greens like Jamaican peppers, green tea mochi made in Japan and pirogi. They also do have slightly roasted buckwheat that keeps its shape during cooking. Love their reuse of cardboard boxes made available to customers instead of plastic bags — smart and ecological!

Visited the store today. Every worker was focused on stocking eggplants it seemed. And no one was looking after the rest of the produce section. This moldy stuff was hanging around. If you shop here make sure u check your produce very carefully.

The new owner of the store since July 2023 has been racially profiling employees and showing mistreatment. Terminated my little brother saying he had “attitude issues” after he told her that he was struggling with mental health and was suicidal. I now have to make sure he’s okay everyday.

The manager tonight made me feel I am doing some illegal stuff….. I was trying to reload my PayPower prepaid Mastercard in this store and the manager told me this made her feel UNCOMFORTABLE because previously there were some scams happened so she refused to help me reload. I said I can show my ID which match my card but she insisted on not doing so and kept saying it made her uncomfortable. Her action really made me feel UNCOMFORTABLE as I have reloaded many times here and no trouble ever made… What she did today implied that she thought I was a bad man that doing credit card scam… Too bad , never encountered this before in this store. I thought this manager needs some scam training so that in the future she can tell what is scam and what is NOT a scam. People should not throw away the apple because of the core, right?

Their fruits and vegetables are awful and stale. Only one cashier is working, so you have to wait 10-15min to cash out. Hire more cashier or have self checkout cash if you are too cheap to hire people. Their new scene points are nowhere like PC points.

Their selection is great, and they had everything I was looking for. Dan in produce is extremely friendly and helpful. All the employees were friendly and efficient as well. Only downside is that 3/8 cash registers were open on a Saturday afternoon and the lines were very long. I assume this is a store owner/management issue and had nothing to do with the staff. A little frustrating if you're in a hurry. Maybe the store owner should address this?

Our go to store for groceries. Not really as cheap as they claim but some products are certainly best purchased here. Often struggles with stock, and have quality issues with root produce. Otherwise great grocery store with just about anything you could need. Staff is friendly and efficient. Apparently there is no plastic recycling/compost which is disappointing but I hope that is something they improve on soon.

The cashiers are usually friendly, but the store is clearly not maintained well... Too many times, I've come across expired items on the shelves. It used to be cheap enough that it was worth being extra selective to avoid spoiled products, but since they partnered with Scene, the prices have been laughable for the quality.

3 reasons to go here : 1. Great deals / big savings 2. Great variety of veggies that you usually won't find at other stores 3. If you like Indian food

I've revisited this location and there seems to be a ton of inventory this time. The prices are fair but take into account that this is a no frills grocery store. The fruits and vegetables don't look totally perfect but that's okay. There's a ton of variety so you'll be able to find surprise items there every so often.

One of the FreshCo with the most international food to chose from. The line ups are long but the cashiers are very fast.

Some great deals...but you have to know your prices. Great selection of International ( not JUST Indian food) : German, Polish, Middle Eastern, Italian ( of course ),Chinese, Japanese, Latin American, Caribbean...and even some specific to Ontario like Kawartha Diary ice cream products. Store is clean & the staff friendly & helpful. I love shopping there when I come into the city.

Nice people, cheap food. Kind of crowded. It is clean. Never seems to be missing anything. I will be going back for sure. I love international food like rare chip flavors etc..

I've been here a couple of times and had an okay experience but today I bought some raspberries only for me to get home and see they had mould on them. Check your berries if you go here!

I was in buying produce. Everything in the produce department is priced by weight. After looking around for a scale for 5 mins to weigh a bag of cherries, I finally went to ask an associate where their scale was. I was told that the scale broke a year ago and hadn’t been replaced. My question to the store manager is…. How can you justify pricing everything by weight and not even having a scale around so customers can decide how much they want. I feel as though this is simply a case of a happy convenience for the store where customers will inherently buy more than required and are in turn forced to make a decision at the cash under pressure to keep all or leave what they have selected. Shady business.

Big mall but the retail stores are all closing and the mall is dying down

Fresco has a good supply of ethnic foods as well as fruits and vegetable.

The only FreshCo in Ottawa where I found good selection of desi items. Can become very crowded depending upon time of day. Not enough checkouts so you might spend more time checking out than doing the actual shopping.

This Freshco store is known to defraud and deceive customers with prices. The sign says the dates are for 5.49 while the price at the cashier is 12.99. the cashier call one of the employees and he says take it or leave it and kick me out of the store. Shame on you Freshco and Nice try freshco.

I was disappointed buying Medjool type dates from the GreenWorld brand I found them to be of very poor quality, it looks like the dates had been thawed several times!

This store NEVER has baskets or carts available. They pile up in the parking bays and block cars from parking. This has been an issue for over 6 months. I witness customers go out and grab carts themselves every single time I shop here. I go to another store unless freshco has good sales. Then I'll bite the bullet. Today I witnessed an 80 year old man complain and the employee handed him a basket... unacceptable. The man could barely carry it. :( come on fresh co

There were so many prices missing from products, or wrong price tags on products. Store is just cramped and messy, and not very well maintained. The missing prices is also a huge issue, especially with how expensive things are, it makes trying shop more frugal more difficult, especially due to the lack of staff on the floor

I would love to give them a higher rating but unfortunately since scene started there customers cannot use gift cards and I have been waiting for them to have it fixed as it's been almost a month now of it being down and its still not fixed. I handed in my scene points for a gift card that I cannot use. As I said this has and is continuing to go on for almost a month now , get it fixed already

Was an all right place. My boyfriend could find his favorite food there. Hard to trust fruits and vegetables because it's often not *fresh* when we go there. But in general, well organized and easy to find what we need.

There were insects in the frozen food. I bought a box of frozen chicken and wondered why the display looked a little weird. Obviously others could tell the food on sale was spoiled and filled with roaches but not I. (Box looked fine) You got my $10 FreshCo in return for your spoiled and insect infested product. Good for you, you win, I hope they find you with a smile on your face drowned in your a pool of money.

Very good produce but limited daily selection. I buy grapes here cause their are better than t&t. Banana have the seed in them(rare). Lots of Asian and east India choices. Only thing is the checkout is way too small. Reminds me of the dollar store.

No frills store. Prices are little cheaper but pay for what you get. Produce not the freshest or prettiest but you get better price. Friendly staff. Could be a little tidier but again no frills so you can have better prices. Some good sales.

I like this store, it is always clean, the shelves are organized , no any food shortage in the stock. The staff is working around, checking the temperature of the freezers, checking shelves. Vegetables and fruits are fresh. Variety of international food choices .

Very poor service！Unprofessional employees are very rude! The product price is higher than the price shows in store. I ask a cashier where I can do the refund because there is not a customer service area. I didn't ask she to refund me immediately . But the cashier made other customers think I'm cutting the line. The cashier did nothing when other customers unhappy and saying back words on me that caused some disputes. The cash refused to apologize and very rude!

Allowing dogs that are not service dogs into the store is not a good thing for customer safety and/or cleanliness. I pointed this out to the manager and she did nothing. Perhaps the health department should do an inspection
