Had a really bad experience this week with the purple haired server, Kristen. She was very unfriendly towards all the customers she could be heard behind the bar complaining about her job didn’t even come to the tables to check in on anyone or refills. We had ordered the unlimited soup and salad and as you can see this is what the Caesar salad looked like. It was about four or five Romain lettuce leaves cut in half. Maybe one scoop of bacon bits and four croutons. We asked the waitress if it could be remade she rolled her eyes and walked away with the bowl. We flag down the hostess multiple times, and she did more work than the server. When we asked the hostess for the bill, the waitress came with it and didn’t even say thank you or have a good day or anything after we paid (we obviously did not leave a tip) she gave us our copy of the receipt and just walked away without saying a single word. We had asked the hostess who the manager was and it was her! Assuming she was the manager on duty and not the general manager but really disappointing that a manager would behave like this.

The Innes Rd location was great. We were a party of 9. The salads were very fresh and tasty, the chicken parmigiana did not disappoint and was very tasty and not overcooked. We also ordered the children pizza portions and they were very tasty. The chicken Parm burger was excellent also. The brownie was incredible, make sure you don't miss out on this one. The service was great and the food did not take too long to be served. Overall, we were all very happy and will go back again soon.

Loved dining here!!! Mike was great. Excellent service. I got the Italian Wedding soup (unlimited, had two bowls) and seafood (mussels, shrimp, scallops) linguine pasta but asked for Alfredo instead because I really don’t like tomato sauce. I was pleasantly surprised I was allowed to swap the sauce type!! We will definitely be back next time we are craving pasta! Their pop is unlimited refills too. After everything it came to about $35 a person and we left feeling very full and satisfied.

We had an excellent experience on the patio. Our server was Mike (red-haired gentleman) who is also a wildlife photographer. The food is excellent. Mike took some photos of our table for us. Overall, I’d recommend the restaurant to anyone. We had a vegan in our party and there was plenty of vegan options.

Terrible location. Bad service and dirty tables. Asked for a pitcher of water and they brought one out with the water being grey, we asked what that was and they drily said water. We asked for them to remove it from the table. Meals came, nothing like they are described on the menu. Ordered 3 jumbo shrimp fettuccini but replace with penne. Attached is a picture of what we received. No bruschetta mix just bland sauce. When we asked the waitress she blamed the new chef instead of taking ownership. Salad was dry, took 10 min to get a side of dressing. Kitchen mixed up and added extra protein on another order then the waitress tells us this order has the extra shrimp just move it to your salad. Worst location we’ve been to, highly NOT recommended, will never be back. Only gave it a 1 star because 0 stars isn’t available.

We Went there for a Managers lunch from work today, disappointed, food is mot that good I didn’t even take a pic of my food, there were lipstick mark on the Mug, server did not even apologies. We waited for a long time with our food considering that there are only few customers inside.

Waited 20 minutes at the table to be served. Restaurant was not even busy. Server naver came to greet us once. We just left. Lousy service, had went before and service was better but will not return

Food was alright.. server was excellent! Flatbread was my favorite part of the meal!

Our favourite East Side's! Celebrated our Anniversary over Saturday night dinner. We were immediately acknowledged at the door and offered indoor/outdoor options. An enthusiastic server named Mike recommended the patio and he ended up serving us. Glad he did because he was both fun and professional and got our drinks, appy, and dinner to us quickly while it was hot! Great dining experience and will return.

The kids loved the drinks available on the kids menu...very tasty, colourful and good presentation. They also enjoyed the burgers. I had pasta off the lunch menu that is their standard fair. Boys were fed and happy, service was nice and the price was good.

Upon our arrival the hostess didn't acknowledge us and had his back turned to us while he was on the phone. He put the phone on hold, left the front desk and upon returning he still didn't acknowledge us until he was done his conversation. The food was ok but service was terrible. The server was inattentive and wasn't very personable. He didn't introduce himself or engage in any kind of conversation. On previous visits we've had our bread and salad regularly topped up, we had to ask for more bread and salad. We only got our bread at the end of our meal, which we didn't even get to eat with our meal. When we got the salad it came with no tongs to serve it, both times. My wife had two hairs in her chicken Tetrazzini, it was replaced however, we would have liked a discount as I ate my entire meal before she got hers. My son, who is under 2, did not get the desert that came with his meal and we were never offered it. The waiter came to the table once to ask how things were and any other time we needed him we had to go get him. We've had amazing experiences in the past however, this visit was very disappointing. Additionally, empty plates were left on our table the entire time. At one point we had to ask him to clear some of the dishes as we were running out of room. When asked, the server seemed bothered by the income inconvenience. Please see pictures below as an example. Our servers name was Seth (we're assuming, as he never told us, but that's what it said in the receipt).

This was the worst restaurant experience I have had in years!!! Here are some pictures of our table right before we left. Nothing was cleared during our visit, we did not get any additionally ordered salad. Our waitress Alyssia, gave us excuses every time we asked for drink refills, or anything else. She was horrendous and gave my sister an eye roll. Even if you don’t like your guests, your job is to pretend you do or find a new job. The food was ok.

We actually really enjoy east sides as a decent value sit down restaurant. Warm endless bread is always a plus. I enjoy the great canadian pizza with mushrooms. ( It's not the best pizza but it does the trick ). We tried the new grill chicken sandwich and were actually surprised. It was amazing. The reason I'm giving a 4 star is because the restaurant was so understaffed. The servers were working hard to accommodate.

We were there this week and I have to say! Mike the red head was an amazing server! We love the food at eastside and celebrate maybe great life family memories there! It is always the best. Mike! You are so kind and funny. He took the time and always made sure we had everything we needed! The best place to dine!

Went on Thursday with my wife and daughter and had a great experience. Food was excellent and our server Mike (red hair) was amazing. He definitely has the right stuff to be in customer service. He was very pleasant, funny and attentive, which added to how satisfied we were with our visit. Will definitely be back

Good overall experience. Service is zippy and friendly. Had penne with chicken (tasty overall, sauce needed a bit more spices). Unlimited salad and bread is still my favourite part of going here 😅.

We booked for a group of 20. We were greeted by a waitress who didn't seem to be having a good day. The restaurant was more then half empty We ordered drinks, took over 20 mins to get. Then 30 min in we finally ordered. I had all you can eat soup and salad. After asked 3 times never got soup or salad. Waitress was avoiding our table. She did say her manager kept taking her notes... Food got to our tables semi warm and over all a terrible experience. We saw 5 to 6 staff so they were not short. We spent over 3 hours in there... It was brutal

I went with my friend and her Mom. They both have several food allergies, and Kristen our server was very attentive, as well as a gentleman who greated us, and paid attention to our table. A great experience. Thank you, Kristen! Excellent service! And! The food was amazing!!

The hostess, or both of them, were terrible - not at the front, not greeting customers, nothing. We were there with a line of about 8 other people for over 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. We waited another 10 before we got seated, but the hostess didn't even setup the napkins or utensils and we didn't get small plates. There were so many tables that were dirty, which could have been used to seat people. There was food all over the floors and once we were seated, the hostess had to go get a cloth to wipe our table because it was not cleaned. Once we got seated though, our server was an absolute delight. Very attentive and friendly, constantly checking in. The best part of the meal was the new potato soup. The bread was undercooked and doughy. The salad croutons were chunks of bread but also undercooked. The mains were very bland and the spaghetti was overcooked and mushy. Honestly, the only saving grace was our server. I am not sure we will be back to this location based on the lack of reception when we got there and how dirty the place was.

I stopped in for a bowl of hot soup on my cold walk home, and had the most lovely experience. My server Kristen was friendly and provided excellent service, even though I was only having a small bowl of soup. I will definitely return! A+ service!

Great spot for families. I always get a little stressed bringing a high energy toddler to a restaurant. The staff is super accommodating and the restaurant is filled with families. They have a great kid's food program called, "mini Mario's" which includes 5 free kid's meals. After that, kid's meals are 2.99 with the purchase of an adult meal. Highly recommend for people with children

East Side Mario's hands down is one of the best Italian restaurant i have personally dined in! The food is GREAT! The service is absolutely wonderful! The place inside is pretty nice and welcoming! I don't know what else to say other than it was a very VERY beautiful and nice experience. I will definitely be back to check in and have me some of that delicious food👌♥️♥️♥️♥️

I ordered the lasagna from Uber eats. The food was tasty, but the portion size seemed incredibly small (see picture). For 26$ I would've expected more than a half full container. I ate the whole thing in less than 5 minutes. Not sure if this is something you guys always do, or it was a mistake from the person making my order. But I don't think it's acceptable that a pasta dish this small is worth 26$!

**Edit** On May 19 we visited the Huntclub location and all around it was a much better experience. We will continue to use that location for now on** On May 11th I ordered the sausage and pepper penne. It was warm at best. The sauce looked as if it came straight from the can with no time to simmer. My son ordered spaghetti with butter. Barely enough on the plate to call dinner. I had to feed him when we got home. Trying to get soup and salad is like pulling teeth. It's like you need to beg for it. After asking for the second time for more, I was given another bowl with next to nothing in it. Awful. Checking out another location tonight to see if this is a National problem or a cheap franchise owner issue.

I recently dined at this restaurant and overall, I had a good experience. The food was quite good, with a variety of tasty dishes on the menu. The service could have been a bit more attentive, but the staff was friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends or family. Additionally, the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a relaxed dining experience with good food at a fair price.

Food was really good, I feel like a went to Italy and came back. The service: high quality. Chris is actually the best server, he was honestly so awesome. He is him. 10/10 experience, would recommend. Great for family gatherings or other outings. Plus they have Brio, the best never other than H2O(L).

Food was not bad, but service was disappointing. Five people were seated at a small four people table, serving four knives, missing napkins and forks, missing food, and brought a wrong dish etc.
