First time here. Ordered two chicken plates via Uber Eats. The delivery was quick and the food is decent. The flavour of the garlic sauce is a bit light. Would order again.

Yeah not very good. I think the worst Shawarma in Orleans. Twice I ate here and it stinks. Most any other place in Orleans has better Shawarma. Don't ruin a good sandwich experience coming here. Overly sweet curry, sweet sauce too sweet, lack of meat in sandwich. Strange sliver sized rice was gross. It was just cheapy wrapped in paper not tinfoil to keep it warm. Go elsewhere thank me later.

Very friendly, not creepy, and chicken is juicy! My go to place in Ottawa for shawarma. I can't say I've had the best experiences at shawarma places in general with the creepy jokes, comments, and forced conversation - but this place has been great to me! Friendly in a non-creepy way. I find the portions are very general and the food is fresh. The prices are reasonable. I assumed from every single other shawarma experience I've had that the meat was always going to be dry due to the spits they have the meat spinning on - but here the chicken is very juicy and fresh! I will continue to come back here when I am craving shawarma. The large baklava I purchased was pretty standard - from Montreal. It wasn't bad but I wish it had a bit more honey.

I come to this Lebanese takeaway shop just for the chicken fattoush salad, so I'm reviewing just that. The King Shawarma brags about it for good reason. 100% white meat chicken, too. Dieting never tasted so good.

The restaurant moved locations but still the same staff. Fast, friendly and absolutely 💯 the best!!

They gave me old rice (stinks) and fries twice. You are paying $10 and get refried fries, assuming customers will not figure out, that's low. My son loves fries and he was struggling to eat them. I would highly recommend to go to Shawarma Palace. You will definitely get fresh food there.

My Husband and I have been getting the Chicken Shawarma platter here for the better part of 12 years. We always order it no rice no potatoes just extra salad and it was great. The last year things have been going down hill but not enough to make us stop getting food from here not until tonight. We each had a chicken shawarma platter. My husband's was well dressed the chicken he got was very nice looking. Mine not so great my chicken looked more shredded rather then sliced, I didn't get any hummus and what little garlic I got was watery. The salad itself was terrible the tomatoes were border line bad ( I didn't eat any) and what ever dressing was on it was completely watery with no flavor. We only got one pita bread between the two of us. We will never get food from here ever again unless they bring the original guys back.

Unfortunately, food didn't meet my expectations. The chicken was cold and the overall quality wasn't up to par.

Been a customer for years. Last order was awful. Potatoes were stale and sandwiches with almost no meat. When complained on next visit, female was very apologetic but male chef was arguing with female in Arabic and seem to dismiss my claim. They certainly lost this customer.

Hands down the best shawarma in the city. Portions are generous. Ratios of ingredients are spot on. Proteins are perfect. The walk-in special is a steal of a deal. I've been going here for years and will continue to do so for a long time.

this place is the best! Been going there for nearly 20 years. The food is fresh, very tasty. The staff are always very friendly, the portions are generous and prices are reasonable for the amount of food they serve. LUV this restaurant.

The food was soggy and the chicken was discusting. The wrap was completely wet and grosse. The salad smelled moldy. Being pregnant I like almost all foods and this was by far the most disappointing meal I've had in forever. Sad I wasted my money here for a meal I wouldn't have to cook myself for the family.

My favourite shawarma place ever! I've had their beef, chicken, falafel and Donair meat! it's all delicious! their sauce selection is good and delicious as well! The garlic sauce is god tier! Their rice, and potatoes are delicious but my favourite is the fattoush salad! the best I've ever had! Everyone i share this place with always loves it and makes it their shawarma place. The whole menu is absolutely exquisite! ❤️

I informed the guy I'm allergic to eggs and garlic sauce. He didn't tell me they cooked the potatoes in the garlic sauce, and I had a bad reaction. Good sandwich, but bad allergy response. I would've been quite happy just getting the sandwich

I ate two meat and vegetable platters as part of the ubereats two for one special. Both were similarly disgusting. The rice and meat taste fine, but the vegetables and other foods are really terrible. The bread mixed in with the shawarma also tastes terrible. The pita bread was fine though, and I'm glad it wasn't mixed in with the food. I feel close to throwing up.

We have been going there for a couple of years now and have found the service and quality have gone downhill. I was just in this evening and noticed the prices have went up, fair, in todays climate that is to be expected. But the amount of topping and chicken they put it in the shawarma has went down. I'll pay more for the same amount. I'm not paying more for less. I also asked for a chicken shawarma combo, but instead of the garlic potatoes I wanted to upgrade to a small chicken poutine. I told him I'd pay the difference in price. "Oh no, we can't do that"......seriously? Take the price of the small garlic potatoe and subtract it from the price of a small chicken poutine and charge me the difference. Don't be lazy and difficult. We'll have to find another shawarma place from now on.

Large and generous servings of food, especially the meats. They definitely don't hold back or skimp. Lots of family trays and platter options as well. They uniquely offer 2 styles of rice compared to other shawarma places. However the food overall didn't seem as flavourful to me. Good for a very hungry person.

service very slow , one person in front of me ordering for 10 people which is fine is staff had the courtesy to let me know he was busy , never go there again with staff like that

The best shawarma! Beats even shawarma palace and Artz shawarma in st-laurent mall. I'm very much a chicken person, but fell in love with their beef shawarma. They have affordable family platters with generous portions. Highly recommend!

I ordered some Donair sandwiches from The King Shawarma, and was extremely disappointed with the amount of food. As seen in the pictures attached, the amount of meat that is in the wrap is astounding. Question for the owner: is there a shortage of meat at your establishment? If I was choosing a Shawarma place to get take-out from, I would strongly think twice about ordering from here. These wraps were the thinnest I have ever seen. A single slice of meat is unfortunately not adequate. Not even close. Hopefully you are able to fix this issue for your other customers, but I will not be coming back. Take care!

From someone who is from Toronto, where i have been to almost all Shawarma places, I can confirm that this is way better than any places i have been to. This guy knows quantity! They don't do "cost cutting" while giving out food. Very friendly service. Food is testy as well. I wish shawarma places in Toronto can understand this. This is how it should be.
