    Love this workout, the new owners have really made it a warm, and fun environment. All the trainers are very friendly, encouraging, and helpful!! I've done many workouts and this one is the best!! Well I've been working out since January and I still love it!!! Amazing place

    Joined team triumph in July 2018 for the summer program. I went from a minimal fitness level to reaching goals I thought only pros could do (in just a few months- and counting)! The coaches are amazing, knowledgeable, and encouraging and the team spirit is strong! Now loving the fall training. I encourage anyone thinking of trying the sport, those looking for incentive to be active again, as well as athletes looking to improve their training to check out team triumph. There is something for everyone. So glad to be part of this triathlete family!

    I enjoy every session of my work out at 9Rounds Barrhaven. The trainers are super helpful. They encourage me to make the most of every session. The owners are fantastic as well. The couple made our sign up super easy and flexible. I am glad to be part of the 9Round Barrhaven family.

    Great place to workout. Trainers are friendly, nice and motivating, they will actually work with you and do exercises instead of just telling you what to do. The owner is always in and helping with workouts, giving advice, and getting to know the people. Good workouts, equipment and timing, definitely worth going to.

    Absolutely love this place. A great mix of ages and abilities. A non intimidating friendly atmosphere where you’re encouraged and supported and made to feel like part of a big team. The coaches are awesome and can help you go from pure beginner to rattling away on the speed bag in no time! No booking, no drama, no planning needed. Just rock up, pound out your 9 rounds of mixed combo 3 minute interval exercises and you’re done! If you’re in two minds about joining a typical gym, want to start working out in a fun and friendly atmosphere then give 9Round Barrhaven a spin, you won’t regret it.

    Team Triumph, with coaches Julia and Maggie, is outstanding. Their spin classes are high energy and motivating experiences. The time, whether 60 minutes or an hour and a half, goes by quickly. The weight training program really has made a difference in my general strength and endurance whether running or biking. Julia’s swimming instruction and coaching has taken me from being a non-swimmer to being able to do laps in the pool. It is also wonderful to see the way members support one another as they take on new challenges or achieving their fitness goals. Thankyou Julia and Maggie!

    With Julia's guidance, I successfully trained for and completed an ironman 70.3. With specific goals and frequent check ins, I always knew I was staying on track. Julia runs a club with fabulous members. Whether you are training for something specific or just trying to stay fit, or whether you are brand new or an old pro, Team Triumph makes you feel included and welcome.

Knowing Julia spinning sessions, I went to her, first for private swimming lessons, then joined Team Triumph in early 2018. Timidly first, then since September, more <seriously> to prepare me at an Olympic distance. The quality of coaching is remarkable. At swimming, the attention given to each swimmer, regardless of his level, allows everyone to work what he needs to improve. The spinning sessions are dynamic and push us to work in our zones, to the sound of the music perfectly arranged to the music. Integration with club members is easy. Everything is enhanced by relevant group communications. In short, I feel well surrounded and supported in my preparation for my triathlon. (Original) Après plusieurs années de course à pied et marathons, j’avais besoin d’un changement et la transition vers le triathlon était naturelle. Connaissant Julia des séances de spinning, je suis allée vers elle, d’abord pour des cours de natation privés, puis j’ai joint Team Triumph en début 2018.     Team Triumph is an open team where all levels of commitment and ability come together. You may just be starting out like I did after having my kids or you could be training for an IronMan. Julia's amazing energy and positive attitude radiate through the team creating a community of supportive athletes. There are so many training options. You just have to choose what works for you.

    9Round changed my life! I have always workout and I have been consistent for years but 9Round took it to a different dimension. First I love the cardio ( and I do not like cardio) but the 9Round workout is fun and you actually enjoy it. The gym itself is impeccable. The trainers are absolutely amazing! They always go above and beyond. They are supportive, knowledgeable, fun, sensitive, committed and very professional. 9Round Barrhaven is much more than a gym, is a community where trainers, owner and us come together. I cannot imagine my life without 9Round! 🥊🥊

    A fantastic workout can be had in 30 minutes at 9Round. The environment is upbeat and supportive. To help you get the most out of your workout, they know when to push you a little bit more. I used to believe that I lacked the strength, coordination, and expertise necessary to complete the exercise. But they explain it in detail and show you how. Now I feel strong and self-assured.

    Absolutely love working out here. The workout is fantastic and flexible to my schedule. The staff are always super friendly and there to show you exactly what to do - they are literally there just to help you. They've also been doing a great job at cleaning and making sure we all stay safe.

    Both a great workout and very flexible as you start when you arrive and do not need to wait for a scheduled class. The trainers at Barrhaven 9Round are awesome and the exercises change daily to keep it interesting. I joined 11 months ago and notice a large improvement in my overall physical fitness. I highly recommend the program and the Barrhaven location.

    I've worked out at 9Round for years and it is my absolute favourite gym ever!! The energy is amazing, the people are great and motivating, and the workout are super fun! If you're looking for a fun way to workout that will keep you motivated, go here! Plus you get to learn kickboxing skills and feel badass. Totally worth the price, trust me.

    I have never worked so hard, accomplished as much, or enjoyed myself more during training as with coach Julia Aimers and Team Triumph. Julia inspires us with her own commitment, passion and work ethic. She helps us to set challenging goals with a realistic path for achieving them. She continually improves her coaching with the latest science in strength and conditioning, and new technologies for accountability. And she brings to every workout her distinct brand of enthusiasm and fun. Why would you go anywhere else?

    Team Triumph coaches are very knowledgeable, extremely motivated and motivating! I instantly felt that I could reach my goals with them. I became a triathlete and got back into great shape. The Team is very inclusive and very supportive during practice, as well as during a race. Team Triumph trip to Utah was memorable, and it was a real bootcamp where I was prepared mentally and physically for the triathlon season. I loved every minutes of my year with Team Triumph.

    Just joined…had my 4th workout today. Very welcoming to all levels of fitness and all ages. You get a great workout in 30 minutes (at your own pace) and then done. Part fitness and part boxing and kicking. Great staff always willing to help !!

    9Round Barrhaven - By far the best workout I've had in a very long time! It has only been shortly over a month for me and I have already noticed a difference over all! Not one time have I left the experience feeling unsatisfied with the workout or like I could have done better elsewhere. All the trainers at this location are so encouraging and inspiring! The ambiance is always tidy, clean and well kept. Absolutely fantastic hours (you can just "jump in" at your convenience during their business hours) and the owners Esther & Allan make sure that everyone that comes in to enquire/try-out/join feel like they are already part of the 9round family! There is nothing I can say more than thank you 9Round Barrhaven for giving me my "Griselda" back!

    I have been going to 9 round since November. I love the people and all the activities. It makes me feel strong and alive and makes,my brain click over as it's different every day. It's a great source of cross training for the multi day international hikes that I do

    Team Triumph is a great Club where people from all levels of fitness can train. I was first introduced to Coach Julia when I went to a Training Camp in Utah as a tag along. My husband was training for an Ironman race at the time. I was recovering from an injury, but that didn't stop me trying the different activities at a beginner level. I remember swimming in the pool for Julia's first assessment. I was exhausted after only a few lengths. She gave me a few swim tips and I was eager for more. That was the point where I decided to schedule a one-on-one meeting with Julia and develop my plan to become active for life. In September 2016 I started learning to spin and run for the first time and took swim lessons to improve my technique. With Coach Julia's support and friendship from team members I have not looked back!

    I am so happy to have become part of the Team Triumph family. Their support encouraged me to do my first sprint tri last April and then build up to a long course race in August. I am most grateful for their swim program as this was my weakest discipline. A few private lessons then a leap into group swim sessions helped to transform my childhood "Red Cross" swim technique to a stroke that allowed me to relax in the water and swim efficiently. There is nothing more reaffirming than being asked to move over from the beginner lane! Their training camps are well organized and doing a dry run of the course with the coaches made a world of difference. Racing with my teammates at Tremblant was one of the best days of my life and it was all thanks to Coach Julia and my fellow Team Triumphers.

    With encouragement from my great friend Heather I joined TT in the fall of 2014. I remember nervously arriving at Canterbury Pool for the initial hour of swimming. Well I gasped at the thought of a 300 M warm up! I asked Julia if we had the whole hour to complete the warm up! Well it wasn’t too long after training and relearning the proper stroke technique the the warm became pretty easy. Now the 500 M time trial was a challenge but I was able to do it! In the spring of 2015 I completed the Perth Triathlon...lots of fun with TT and Julia was an amazingly supportive. A Christmas gift from my husband in 2015 allowed me to go to the Utah Training Camp in April 2016. I was certainly nervous given the experience of the athletes attending. I met some new people and everyone was friendly and supportive. We had a great time participating in the Sand Hollow Sprint Triathlon. More recently I have cut back on the swimming, but I hope to continue next spring. After a hip replacement in 2017 I am back spinning. The group dynamics of the spin classes with Maggie and Julia is fantastic. The music is great, the work out is awesome (I am soaked by the end of the class!) anyone holding back from joining TT for fear of intimidation....no need! Well have all started from different levels of fitness and experience and Julia and her team are there to train, coach, support and “POOOSH” all the way!

    What I like most about Team Triumph is the amazing community of support! Whether you are training/competing for/in your first 5km race or Ironman everyone is there to support and cheer you on! I have met some of the most amazing and inspirational people/athletes thru TT!

    I started spinning and swimming with Team Triumph in September after three years of not exercising. I have greatly appreciated the support, the knowledgeable coaches and the welcoming attitude of the members. The range of people includes those training for an Ironman to peope like me trying to gain some fitness. It has inspired me in my journey of return to fitness. I look forward to every session. I may still not love swimming but slowly by slowly i am becoming more proficient with the tips and tricks from Julia and Maggie. With their coaching, who knows, i could do a triathlon!

    Really happy to be able to write a review for this incredible team of people. Most of us are age group athletes looking for support to conquer a challenge. I came to Julia as she came highly recommended by some running friends. I was intimidated to start swimming at young age of 29...I mean 46. With in 6 lessons I had gone from a 10m, swallowing half the pool and gasping for breath swimmer to a comfortable 400m swim. Today (17w later) I’m swimming twice a week with her group, I’m now at 1700m and swam my first 1000m time trial under 28min! Julia’s confident, concise and patient teaching is leading me on my way to my first 70.3 Ironman in June. Thank you Julia and Team Triumph Crew!

    This gym hands down is amazing! The owners are fantastic and so are the trainers they are always there interacting with everyone and cheering you on. It truly is a great environment to work out in and walking into a place where everyone knows your name makes it all that more inviting.

    30 minutes and done. Owners Allan and Esther are fabulous, so involved in day to day running and with the members. Trainers are engaging, one on one pad work, showing you the exercises and correcting as necessary. No start times or class times so you can come in whenever it is good for you and new workouts daily. Higjly recommend this gym.

    Wow! What a FUN, efficient, complete body workout for ages 13-93! This 30 min workout is good for any skill level too! Trainers are on the floor, leading and motivating you through exercises at 9 different stations, that all challenge your mind as well as your body. The trainers, tempo, music & variety of exercises have you done in no time AND it’s a fantastic mood ENHANCER! I love this place & these workouts!!

They have put together the best team of personal trainers in Ottawa! The energy is amazing, the trainers are encouraging, and motivating. Trainers walk you every step of your workout.     The owners and trainers at 9Round Barrhaven can help you change your life! You do the work, they will support and encourage you. All ages and all fitness levels (or lack there of in my case when I started) have a place here. I tried it after some gentle encouragement from a friend & now I can’t imagine my life without this place. The workouts aren’t easy but you go at the pace you can handle. Before you know it you’re doing things you never imagined you’d be able to do. The owners and trainers are always great-no judgements, always supportive & encouraging and ready to teach. They truly have helped me to change my life. I highly recommend 9Round Barrhaven. Try it, you’ll see.
