An actual shawarma joint that goes toe to toe with Shawarma Palace. The beef is the most tender and juicy beef I have ever had. The hummus and garlic is always fresh and delicious.

Wow, this place really surprised me! Better than the Prince and Palace. I had the chicken shawarma, because I arrived 40 minutes before they closed, so they were out of beef. Tender chicken, the salads still tasted fresh, the wrap was done perfectly crisp, and the price is affordable. The service was personal, and with a smile. I'll definitely go again... I just wish I lived a little closer, I'm not in that area often. Edit: Went there a second time... This time I brought some friends with me. Tried the beef... Just as good as the chicken. Highly recommended!

Pretty sure it's opened by a former Palace employee. Comparable to shawarma Palace. Good portions, potatoes are really good garlic sauce is heavy on the garlic, chicken can be dry if you don't arrive at rush hour since there's not a ton of turnover.

We ordered a chicken plate and a small chicken sandwich. We were given old dry/hard chicken pieces. Make sure they don’t do the same to you. I didn’t watch closely because I didn’t think they would do that to a customer and only saw it when I got home. Make sure they shave it off fresh and give you what you paid for. The chicken we got was small quantity and small in size and hard without flavour. Personally I believe if you have to police a place to do the right thing and give you what you fairly paid for, its not worth giving your business. I mean, if you’re paying $20 for a plate, why would the place even try to get rid of old subpar product by giving it to customers…you can get a whole cooked chicken for $10 retail…thats just greedy.

I’m not sure if the ownership of this establishment was changed, but recently, the quality hasn’t been the same as before. Normally, I love the quality and taste of the food. The last few times, my chicken had slimy skins on it, the salad didn’t taste as good, and the falafel was cold and tasted old. I hope they can ensure the quality of their food stays high, as I don’t want to stop eating here.

First things: the sandwich was good. The meat was juicy and the begins were fresh. The potatoes were very stale. The texture suggested that they were cooked and sat for hours, possibly overnight. The server who was helping us stopped every few seconds to talk with his friend who was also in line and it took far longer than it should have to just get the sandwiches made. There is nothing wrong with chatting with a familiar customer but only do so if you can work while you talk. None of the servers wore gloves, and they served three people all while wiping their hands on their aprons and handling tools without washing their hands once. I watched them roll deeply into our sandwiches only to reach their sauce covered fingers over to roll the next customers. None of these alone are reasons to avoid a restaurant but for sure I will think twice before coming back.

So very glad to have turned right, and not left into another place. Fabulous food, great service.

The best shawarma in Ottawa makes excellent and delicious food

My husband and I stopped by yesterday to pickup lunch after seeing all the great reviews, and we were not disappointed. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and fresh and the service was beyond excellent. We had the chicken shawarma and we were kindly offered a sample of the potatoes with a side of garlic sauce. Everything was really tasty, clean and many of their condiments are made in-house. We ended up buying a couple more sandwiches based on that initial tasting! I heard the meat and kabobs are amazing, and we will definitely be going back to try that. Give this gem a try, not only do they offer great food, but friendliness, a warm welcome, and excellent service with a smile. Thank you Abu-Subhi!

Not my first time going there! I had to go back for their beef Shawarma! It's the best flavored shawarma I've had so far in Ottawa! I also ordered their falafel sandwich. When I saw those good-looking falafels, they were calling my name lol! The combination of falafel, hummus and tahini sauce in that sandwich was absolutely delicious.

Just got the Family Shawarma Platter and there was a very generous amount of food that tasted great! Service was excellent and they even offered to help me bring it out to my car. I was so touched by that offer. I will be back and recommend others go eat here.

Taste of Lebanese food in Nepean I had to try something here from reading so many good reviews. After speaking to the owner and a staff member, you feel very welcome. If you visit for the first time, my advice is to ask for something in the beef menu. You be back for more.

Our family enjoyed the mixed plate with chicken & beef, mainly because we couldn't decide what to eat, while our daughter and her friend shared the kids chicken strips, which were a little different than what you might expect in that they weren't breaded, but juicy and flavourful nonetheless. We ordered some garlic on the side, which was very creamy and perfectly complemented all the dishes.The included salad was not only pleasing to the eye it was quite delicious too. Overall it was a very tasty meal experience and the portions are indeed quite generous. Our only wish would be that they include pictures of all the foods on the online delivery menu. Then again, we likely would have ordered far more, so maybe all for the better ,as we couldn't finish the food ordered. We will return soon to sample more specialty items off this mediterranean style menu. Ottawa Shawarma is truly a fabulous addition to the Nepean community!

Best shawarma I've ever had by far! Delicious food, well priced, large portions. I had the chicken plate. The garlic potatoes were full of flavour, the chicken was moist. The staff were so friendly and chatted with us at our table asking us how everything was. I'll definitely be returning here

We here at LF3 LOVE Ottawa Shawarma! I like to consider myself a bit of a shawarma connoisseur, I am proud to say...I FOUND MY PLACE!! Not only is the food fresh and delicious, the portion sizes are crazy!! The service is above expectation!! I would give Ottawa Shawarma 20 stars if I could!!

One of my favorite Shawarma restaurants in Ottawa! Unfortunately I moved out of the area, so I don't get it very often anymore. This is one of the few places that grills the sandwich perfectly, and it makes a big difference!

The food is amazing and the service is absolutely wonderful. The two men that work there that I see everytime I go are absolutely wonderful and kind people. I always feel welcomed to the place and they are so kind. The portions are big enough to feel full and the best thing they offer, the potatoes with the garlic sauce. Beyond addicting. The wraps and platters are all very good as well. Overall because of the service and potatoes this place gets a 10/10 from me.

Ordered for the first time and was for a party of 10. We ordered both chicken and beef platters with some side falafel and all dips Food was delivered by a super friendly man and EVERYTHING was super fresh and there was loads of it. The food was so flavourful, not greasy and not overpowering garlic. I am celiac and the owner assured me all food was safe and GF for me to eat except for the separate package of pita. I would highly recommend Ottawa Shwarma I haven’t had in years in this city but our family is back on the wagon. 10/10 all around!

This is my favorite and the best Shawarma place in Ottawa. I've been to many but I keep coming back to this one as the quality of the food is really good, consistent, tasty and a good portion. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, efficient and excellent at what they do. Highly recommended!

Ordered chicken kebabs, salad, potatoes and rice for a backyard get together. I’ve never had such delicious kebabs and the salad was crisp and fresh. The dips were great too. Everyone complimented the food.

Hidden gem in the west end of Ottawa. Excellent shawarma. I tried all the other shawarma places in Nepean and this one is at the top of the list for taste, portion size, and friendlyness of staff.

WOW... this little gem doesn't seem like much on the outside, but BOY o BOY. To begin with, the owner is awesome, his chicken shawarma is juicy, and his portions are INSANE. Extremely high quality Hummus and Tabboli Salad... I can NEVER finish his platter, and I always pay less than I think. I recommend the mixed beef/chicken platter with Tabbooli salad, rice and potatoes. Please note, I'm Egyptian-Canadian and I've been eating shawarma my entire life, and so far, this guy's chicken shawerma platter is the best I've had in Canada.

My family and I live nearby. Tonite my 8 year old picky little girl tried the chicken and a pita they gave her for free and thought it was ok. That is an A+ for me. They are always friendly and helpful. They act like you are part of their family. The food is amazeballs too.

Wanted to try a new place and saw that Ottawa Shawarma was highly rated on Google. It wasn't too far to get to from Kanata. The staff was friendly. The food itself was really good. The potatoes were good and the garlic sauce even better. The shawarma was tasty. If someone is looking for a place to try, will recommend.

I had a delicious chicken shawarma salad today. Divine! Great food and great service. Definitely my favorite local shawarma place.

The falafel shawarma was too salty. They weren’t allowed to make a mix shawarma even though all shawarmas were same price. Place is clean, friendly service, parking available in front
