Terrible experience. The price is ridiculously high for what you actually get. The quantity is truly insulting. Paid for a soup and it was so salty we had to throw it out. The shrimp was so small not even a bird would be full... I highly do not recommend this Thai express. Better experience else where.

Super friendly service. Very clean location with ample parking and in-restaurant seating. Air quality is excellent due to fantastic ventilation. Best fast food around. It's so fun to watch your food being prepared. Also, transparency gives peace of mind!! #localguide

Never had any problems with other locations of this chain. I always order extra sauce with my noodles in Rideau Centre and they never charge me. This location charged me but I thought-ok whatever. Then they decided to place my sauce soaked noodles in a regular paper container which was bound to leak? I asked for a plastic container which other locations automatically use and don’t charge for but the lady told me I had to pay for that too? It’s like charging someone for a large drink but then saying you also have to pay for the large cup size? What? Never will I ever go here again.

The beef dishes have so much breading that one can't find the actual meat. The cashier agreed that there had been many complaints. General Thai beef looks absolutely nothing like the photos displayed behind the counter. I complained to the head office and received a form reply that had nothing to do with my issue. I won't be back.

I got lunch here, Pad Ew Sew. It was supposed to have broccoli but didn't have a single piece of broccoli in it and there was limited beef. So it was basically $18 for rice noodles and a drink. They were delicious though, I can't deny that.

The quality of the general thai chicken for the past 3 orders has been so poor. Most of the time you're chewing on chicken batter if not the chicken is stringy and hard

I told him the food was too spicy for me even tho I already eat spicy food, I asked him to calm the spicy a bit he laughed in my face and started speaking to his colleagues about me! So rude and the food was very spicy!

I love Thai Express but this location or franchise seems to be either cost cutting (tastes bland, entirely hit or miss) or lacks what the other locations have: flavour. Sure you can sit down but it’s like being in a sardine can there. It’s so close that it makes it desirable, but why is it so much worse than the others?

the food is disgusting. the taste of something burnt. They gave me a portion and immediately took it away and started putting out pieces of food from there. it was disgusting and expensive for the portion. A few pieces of pepper and onion are complete disgusting. I had to throw away half the portion. I don't recommend coming to this place. 17$

I had not very pleasant experience. The stuff wasn’t friendly to start with. We ordered four meals and four out of two were wrong. When I pointed out, the stuff wasn’t impressed (had facial expressions and attitude). When she fixed it I said « thank you very much » only to be ignored. Plus, there were no cutlery in the bag. We generally like Thai express but this was the first time I was pretty upset with them…

Normally I love Thai express however, this was inedible. The food tasted so burnt like the wok hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was little to no sauce or flavour. I was very disappointed. I was the only one in the restaurant when ordering. I thought it would be amazing as it would not have been rushed. Very disappointed. At least the staff was friendly.

Order Tofu pad thai. And when I got back home there was chicken in it. I'm vegetarian, very disappointing.

Picked up chicken basil fried rice and Tom yum soup for dinner. Quantity is very good. Would definitely recommend the fried rice, very very tasty. Not a fan of the soup though, it was slightly sweet. It’s a open kitchen concept, you can see your food being cooked. Very clean and lots of places to sit and park your car. Staff is quick and food was ready in less than 15 mins.

Got the Thai soup, the broth and noodles taste cheap and they added only about 5 shrimp and what seemed like only a pinch of each of the toppings. For $17 you'd expect fair portions. Overall overly priced and very stingy with the intredients

My Pad See Ew was perfect. A little spic and the noodles were firm but cooked. Much better than the other Thai expresses that I have gone to. Last week I went to one in Orleans and the noodles were so soggy and falling apart.

Staff were difficult to understand. My order was smaller than the size provided at my regular location. Taste was as usual.

Portion sizes are noticeably different at this location. I've gotten food from other Thai Express locations and got the usual carry out containers with the portions that I usually would get anywhere. This location however has decided to not only use smaller containers but also put less in them. Might as well go to the another location and get more for your money.

This very Thai Express at Gloucester is the best I ever visited. They are so clean even the bathroom. Staff is super friendly. Food is distinctive yummy. I went with my family and we almost tried everything. I can tell the way they cook, the taste outweighs all the Thai Express in the area. I definitely recommend you to give a try. BTW, Costco just next door to do my grocery. Perfect location ! ! ! !

Usually pretty good. The last time I ordered the mango Thai racha the chicken was dry. And barely any chicken, was mostly batter. Guess with the price of meat now they getting stingy with their portion of meat. Don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. The quality used to be so good. Flavourful and moist chicken. Was really disappointed this last time, chewing on dry batter

Solid food, but I ordered a fish pad Thai, and the lady only charged me for a vegetable one, after waiting 15-20 min due to the line I was given the wrong one, then charged more. Just found it a bit unwelcoming. Nonetheless, great food

Food was good, limited seating, well lit and clean. You have to pay extra for a box, which seems wrong for Thai food.

It was Friday and the deal with Chili Chili Bankok. The employee did not know about or never heard of it but he never said anything and proceeded to make my order and asked other employees for help. Unfortunely when I got home it definitely was not Chili Chili bankok and was missing about 4 ingredients.

We have been here many times but our plates hardly had any sauce. When you order a shrimp roll it has 3 full size shrimps but today they were cut in half. When you pay 7.30$+tax for one roll and you have 1/2 cut shrimps. Disappointing for 55$

Good old Thai express, yet in modern packaging. Free parking, no drive through. Super fast and delicious.

We ordered takeout from here tonight and it was by far one of the best takeout meals we've had for a very long time. I ordered the General Thai Chicken with Cauliflower Rice and my husband ordered the Tom Yum soup and the Mango General Thai bowl. The food was fresh, hot and delicious, and the servings were so generous (lots of chicken in both bowls!) that we have enough leftovers to enjoy again for tomorrow's supper. After some fairly dismal take-out experiences from other restaurants lately, we weren't expecting this one to be so amazing. We'll definitely be back for more!!!

Just bought a Yellow curry w/chicken. I wish I could have taken a better photo showing the type of chicken served: full of fat and tendons. A lot of rice and very, very few vegetables. This is the last time I will ever go to Thai Express!

I would like to give ZERO star to this Thai Express location if I can! I went there for lunch today with three of my colleagues around 1:25 pm. I have ordered a Beef PAD SEE. When I almost finished my PAD SEE, I found out there was a HAIR inside of the PAD SEE noodle. Since I was almost done, I went to the counter and just wanted to tell them that there was a hair. I didn't want them to replace or what. I just wanted to let them know. So I talked to a guy who is one of the cooks. This guy didn't say any apologies and he said “IT'S YOUR HAIR!” Yes, this was what he said when he saw the HAIR!!! So I told him it was impossible that my hair was inside of the meal and mixed with the noodles! He insisted it's my hair because the two cooks are black hairs. If you go there often, you will know the cashier lady who usually help with preparation is brown/red hair. And this lady was just standing beside this guy. So I told this guy that the lady is brown hair. The guy said:" No. She was not cooking. It's your hair!" He even said:" it's JUST a hair. What do you want?" This is so ridiculous and insulted!! There is no apologies at all and other employees didn't say anything. I have never been a restaurant like this in my life. And They let me learned how they treat their customers and how they look at their customers when there is an issue. I go this location for lunch in the past three years. And I will NEVER go again!!! DON'T recommend you to order there, specially if you have brown or black hair!!

Service was alright lady at counter was not friendly asked her a question about portions. Now it was put in a smaller container I asked why she told me the bowl portion was extra.....not advertised at front on the menu screen that it came in a smaller container....Food was alright but service at front counter sucked customer service she was cold and not friendly, hey if you are in customer service at least reply back to your customers with a smile and be friendly, they are your bread and butter.....
