I work out in this fit4less gym it’s on the top of the superstore and not bad for community at less they have all machines when one needs for workout. it doesn’t looks like any other Fit4less which has a huge space on the ground floor but this gym is in a two big rooms which has a punch of machines and so crowded all around. Working hours; As long the store opened fit4less opens too. Staff r good but not friendly. My Overall experience is a 3*

while i am all for the wearing of masks given everything going on right now, how ever making someone wear a mask during a WORK OUT isn't even mandatory by-law. and when i ask corporate i was told that each store is to go by what each regional health unit. Ottawa health unit doesn't say that masks are to be put back on in-between sets or moving machine from machine (because of elevated heart rate and breathing) only that you need to wear one entering the gym and into the change room. so how is it you are forcing these rules legally? you aren't. Am i expected to put my mask back on right after squatting say 225+ for reps ? ill continue to wear one while coming inside but forcing people who actually workout hard to wear a mask while their breathing like a dog in the sun isn't safe at all. See section for EXEMPTIONS 2 -1-D (ii) " actively engaging in an athletic or fitness activity including water-based activities, including lifeguards working at indoor pools "

Good equipment for my basic workout needs. Seemed to have the usual over all plus some extra features like tanning and message chairs. Went and supported a gym partner with their workout, they have a membership, I had to pay drop in fees as there was no options to have a gym partner for a workout, you know sometimes you need that extra support. The drop in fee was a bit high for my comfort zone so I will avoid paying if I have to. Friendly staff tho :)

Decent gym but there's no water fountain??? Nobody wants to pack for a hike every time they go for a pump. Never seen that before. EDIT: THEY ADDED A WATER FOUNTAIN BEST GYM EVER

Love the gyms itself, but there are never any time slots open. You have to book days in advance and even then, you might not get anything before all the slots are gone. Paying for a gym membership when you can’t even go gets a bit ridiculous, I wish they would do something to ensure that everyone who is an existing member gets to go. It’s what we’re paying for!!!

This is a gym at a good price. However I don't think they vaule squat rack properly. By that I mean they have only one. The public gym i went too had at least 2. Overall its clean and has big windows to let light while working out, just missing some machines and please more squat racks.

Great gym. Super clean place. Staff's are great. The only con is the equipment. The machine are not super high quality and they often are out of order. The time for them to be repaired is also quite unreasonable. Other than that, it's an amazing deal. Great to have a place where people can get healthier at a very affordable price

Employees clean the equipment and vacuum during staffed hours, so you can tell cleanliness is important to this location (awesome)! They're kind to gym-goers too. 4 instead of 5 stars because there is no stairmaster at this location, which is something commonly used!

I've been going here for years. It's great for the price but you get what you pay for. No showers and a small number of change rooms with lockers that are exposed to the gym section. The equipment is usually up and running and otherwise we'll kept.

Lots of potential if they actually fixed their machines. Most of the bikes have problems with the bearings, not allowing for a smooth rotation. Cable row machine is messed up - heavy resistance if anyone else is using the cables on the same side. As well as a bunch of other machines are always breaking down. The guy that comes to fix things does a half a** job and just tightens things up making things worse in the future. Been going to this location for like 6 months and the machines are just getting worse and worse. Would be nice to have these fixed properly.

Fit4poor They really want you to feel how poor you are with their membership. Waiting outside the door for appointment, you only get one hour of workout, and finally everything inside is cheap and outdated. The full poor experience

If i could only give one star i would. The manager has to go they they are unprofessional. And get nothing done. They don't enforce the mask policy. But yet when they close down i am still charged. I also had a friend that applied to work here the manger wasted there with an interview. And training. And never contacted him again. I strongly advise another gym. The price is low but so is the quality of service.

The manger beneditta is unresponsive And rude. Will not be attending this facility again.

Can't go wrong for the price. Layout is kinda cramped and the free weight section is always busy but it has everything you need. Hope they go back to 24/7 soon.

Great gym for an affordable price! For the size of the gym it actually has everything you need to get a good workout in! They have a great variety or equipment. I almost never had to wait to use any cardio machines or weights! People are super nice and friendly and it’s a much better and warmer gym environment compared to fancier gyms! The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable, and I never had issues when I need help!! The gym is always clean!! Bathrooms are clean! The tanning rooms are clean too! Worth the money!

The staff forgets to reinstate my membership when I had an outstanding balanced due, I paid it very well in advance of my cancellation date to avoid getting my membership canceled and somehow it was still cancelled. I make a call and they ask me to get in contact with their manager about their mistake. I’m okay with them forgetting to do their job, but asking me to fix their issue is just madly disrespectful. This location needs better staff training because it’s not professional at all, I had to call the Walkley location to get them to send in a ticket to the head office about this.

Probably the worst Fit4less I’ve ever been to. At least 25% of their machines are under maintenance. The gym is very stuffy and stale air, the flooring is old and torn up. Their selection of machines is garbage compared to other locations. I purposely drive an extra 30 mins to another Fit4less because this one is so bad. The lighting is also terrible, the flow of the gym is awkward and weird. Save your time and go to another location if you can, the owners/management of this location doesn’t care to upgrade anything or work on the location.

Decent location, kept clean. Only problem these days is the session booking: I can't even get a slot booking 2 days ahead, all sessions are fully booked. Looks like the gym is 'full', but I think they still accept new members, but what's the point if existing members can't get a gym session any more.

I wanted too cancel my membership STAT ..As soon the pandemic started and only when there 0 confirmed Covid cases on planet earth Will i consider using gym again..This place only freezes account 30 days and you must do it in person ..I am 6.5 km away and I commute by bus ..Very diffcult location too get too now!.. Anyways they never answer phone and I get keeping charged for gym that I stopped using in March

My gym was closed today so this was my only option nearby. 22.50 is just too much for a drop in workout at a gym like this. There’s only 1 squat rack with no adjustable support bars so I bottomed out on it before hitting full depth. The leg extension and leg curl machines both had crooked bars which made me feel like one leg was working differently from the other. I’m not sure what the membership prices are but if you are at all serious about the gym I would find another spot

I am writing today to complain of the poor service, there was NO water fountain in the beginning and then the guys got for the gym finally after long period of time, now there is NO massage relaxation machine there is no electricity to turn it on. What poor services over her and people are paying money

Gym is Okay at its Best No problem with the staff or people at the gym. cons - once the equipment goes out of order , it takes them 2-3 months to get it fixed or they have probably 6-8 machines out of order at least. No water fountain. Overall - it's good for its price

Gym is small and most of the equipment is always broken or needs repair. They don't maintain the equipment and repairs take months. The membership is well priced at $10/monthly but God forbid you lose your key card they charge $17 to replace.

It’s your average budget gym. They have all the equipment you need. No showers, no wifi , but very price friendly

It’s a nice place for workout. The negative point is they just have 1 of each machine and if something doesn’t work properly it takes month to get it repaired.

I have been going to Fit4Less Merivale location which I call as my home gym for several years now. Staff is always helpful, welcoming and easy to talk to. In comparison to other locations I have been to, this gym is usually very clean which makes it pleasant to do my workout.

It felt good to be back to the gym in 2 years. I love my homegym but the staffs are very friendly. I like the environment

Great gym for the price, gym goers are respectful as far as I’ve noticed, though I go at 5am. Wish their locations that had showers were usable before staffed hours!

I have to say I changed my 1 star to a 5 star. The manager here took real good care of me. She got my membership reinstated with no charge. She is enforcing the mask regulation which is very comforting. Seeing her do that makes everyone else safe. I don't know how to spell her name but I do know her by name. It would be great if you can change the duration of the workout sessions from 1 to 1.5 hours. As I feel in an hour one can hardly do anything, warm ups, the work out, cardio etc. All cant be done in an hour. Rest all your efforts to keep the safety measure are appreciated.

It's a basic gym, with all the required equipmens. I went to the other fit4less and found them much better than this one. They do not even have water fountain. That is the reason for 3 stars.

This gym is a joke. Ever since the new manager has taken over, it’s become the worst gym in Ottawa. Half the machines are always broken, paper towel and toilet paper rolls are always empty. The gym is over populated 24/7 due to members using the emergency doors to let all their friends in after hours. It’s absolutely ridiculous and I personally feel like something should be done or lots of members are gonna start transferring. Many already decided to commute to Kanata because it’s 100% better.

05 june, The staff closed the massage before 09h30, I ask my right for massage at 09h25 and the rude lady doesn't let me And it's not the first time spécialy this girl never let me do massage. I don't advise costumer to take the Black membership, take the cheapest one. I payed for massage and this lady spécialy never let me do it. She is not good at all with costumer service.

Not very clean! Some devices are not working properly! Sometimes too crowded! But the staff are nice and helpful.

I went here on an off sesh that all gyms within Orleans were booked up. I was pleasantly surprised. I took the 8:30 slot so perhaps this was standard practice for the last sesh of the night. The whole time I was there, there was a lady cleaning the gym: emptying the bins, refilling spray, wiping machines down. I’ve never seen that in other locations yet. Def makes you feel a little safer. They have more treadmills than other locations I’ve been to that are in service. The hip thrust machine is near the stretch area and kinda far away from the plate rack and you kinda have to bum off one of the barbell benches but it’s s’all good. THEY GOT A SQUAT RACK!!!!!! Spacing is pretty ok. On first glance it doesn’t look spacious but once you’re in the space I find this one has the best flow next to place d’orleans IMO. It wasn’t overcrowded either and they do their rounds in checking numbers? Lol thought that was weird but I guess they allowed walk-ins and just keeping headcount I guess. Not too shabby.

What can I say. Been working out for 3 yrs here and can never complain about how beneficial it was to sign up to one of the best gyms in Ottawa and possibly across Canada. Lovely staff. Clean gym. Great place!

Good place as usual. At the start of the pandemic they were booking quite a lot people so they were still packed. However after the second shutdown it seems like they reduced the gym capacity which is good, although it’s much harder to get a spot now. Place is clean and the staff cleans while sessions are going on.

Someone stole my winter boots from this location and the staff offered to call me if someone returned them.

The gym has all the equipment required but no drinking water fountain. You got to pay to buy water. This seemed very illogical to me. No shower which is fine given the price Quit the gym in a week and joined goodlife.

Friendly staff and well kept equipment. Sure some are down sometimes but that can be expected; things wear and break too in this world.

Just perfect size and with everything.

It's cheap, sometimes fairly busy. A few days the machines can get close to capacity after work. The ellipticals and tread Mills yesterday only had 1-2 free each at peak, for about 30 mins. But still plenty of bikes, although bikes seats seem angled up, most of them are uncomfortable for me immediately, others after 10+ minutes on the bike, but I also am a large guy. But they aren't often used so may be a common thing. I've never seen the machines in total over about 70percent used so you may have to wait for your favorite, but there are machines to work on. No trainers, but the benefit is it is cheap. Good value for me, for the price.

Good cheap option for gym but there are no trainers to help you out, you are all your own to use the machines.

Amazing staff. My workout buddys daughter had a pd day and she is under 16. We brought her to the gym hoping she could just sit and read her book, unfortunately she was unable to be in the gym. SO A STAFF MEMEBER TOOK HER TO STARBUCK FOR 45 MINUTES WHILE WE WORKED OUT!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

There are a bunch of good equipments that you can training properly and the staffs are very polite. I recommend it.

They got all the equipment that you need and at low monthly payment（Exercise should not be a burden on your monthly bill).Their reservation system is amazing, I got no problem to reserve any time lots that I want. I got to say the manage team is excellent, they will clean every equipment after each reservation, thumbs up!

Good price but other than that. Staff are awful and sneaky. Equipment is okay and the space is small it feels jammed up.

Have been going about a month, can't see any negitives in this facility. Seems quite clean, the covid protocols seem like they have the interest of the customers. the staff are always actively keeping all the equipment clean during and after each hour fifteen session. I have never had any issues with staff having to remind me about my mask. Keeping it off at your workout station and on any other time seems quite fair. Make sure you schedule at least a day ahead of time if you plan to go during popular times (11 am - 5pm) seem busy for what I've seen. hope to see more people there.

I was a member for 1 and a half year. The employees are rude and unreasonable. Manger doesn’t fix any issues you have, she can’t care less about you. Don’t recommend at all stay away from this place

My phone was stolen as I had left it beside the machine while working out. I reported it to the staff. The staff was able to identify the person by viewing the security camera footage. The thief was a regular member. I pleaded to them to ask him to give my phone back. They refused to identify him to me and refused to terminate his membership. They didn't even want to get involved. 2 days later I couldn't get inside the gym. I thought there was a problem with my card.. my payments are good. They decided to terminate my membership and simply let the thief continue working out. It's clear that these policies were put by someone who has no shame and regard to people. I've been respectful to them through out the whole process. Beware of this establishment. THEFT is TOLERATED at Fit4less. Shame on your CEO and Management. What a horrible company.

Gym had a lot of broken machines or machines under maintenance. Three out of four massage chairs weren’t working as well. Flooring needs to be redone. Just needs some love.
