This please is AMAZING... dog wash area is clean and convenient... affordable and makes washing my fur baby the best experience !!! He even got some plum scented doggy cologne today!!! Blow dryer is amazing for dogs with thicker fur to avoid heat spots... I highly recommend this place as the staff is awesome as well... All around a wonderful experience!

I bring my dog here for baths because it’s much more convenient than trying to spray him down at home. They provide towels, shampoo, conditioner and usually brushes and you get to wash your dog yourself. The staff is also always friendly here.

Went in the other day to shop for weight control kibble for my picky-eater and overweight cat. The staff were very knowledgeable and kind in helping me looking through the different kinds of dry food and compare the calories per cup. They have a great return policy too, if your cat doesn't like the dry food for any reason, you get a refund no questions asked. If you're looking for help in finding the right product for your cat, consider coming here. I look forward to coming back next time!

The staff here are wonderful, helpful, and always greet our pets. The toy and food selection, including of big country raw, has been great. They have a nice set up for the dog baths. They no longer leave shampoo out and instead give you a small bottle of it. They still leave the towels, treats, and cologne out. The shampoo bottle though was enough for a very large 120+lb long haired dog. Due to the size and amount of fur I need at least 7-10 towels. They recently raised the price from $10 to $12 and that doesn't bother me. They keep the baths clean and upgraded their air blowers/dryers. Went to the pet valu on beechwood and they offer two towels so I won't go there plus there the baths are in the middle of the store.

This pet store at the Gloucester Mall has lots of good selection of food and toys for both cats and dogs. Also an impressive selection of cat trees. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you have a pet it is definitely worth a visit!

Great staff and always organized. It's a bit small but they always have what I need. There is normally always a cat up for adoption so beware if you bring your own pet in.

I used to enjoy going to the store but the experience on August 29 around 6:30 PM made me decide to visit a whole other chain. I’m happy to go to global pet moving forward… choose your employees wisely.

I go to 3 different locations, Montreal rd, Gloucester center, and Beechwood. All 3 I've had nothing but great service with friendly, knowledgeable staff. If they don't have what you need, they have zero problem with getting it in for you. My favorite pet store, bar none

The store is well stocked and conveniently located, however the COVID-19 instructions when you come in the store are located on a very low table and not visible to anyone over 3.5 feet tall. This means the staff end up yelling at almost every customer that enters the store since they do not see the location of the sign asking you to use hand sanitizer. While I was shopping I also witnessed a staff person unnecessarily scold a customer who entered after me about not touching anything he wasn't planning on buying - this rule also wasn't on a visible sign or verbally communicated when the customer entered the store. Another one of my family members and a neighbour have also been yelled at by staff at this location due to new rules that have been put in place due to COVID-19, that are not communicated to customers when they enter the store by visible signage or verbal instructions from staff.

My go-to for pet food and chew sticks to entertain my dog. Staff are great.

Disappointed. A few months ago, I bought an aquarium, and everything necessary to get started for taking care of fish. In a short period, the water pump/filter stopped working. I went back to the store to see if they had replacement pumps/filters, the lady wasn't much help.

Staff here are attentive and knowledgeable. They are also quick to offer assistance.

This was the store on convenience. Perfectly located between work and home. Today, used the curb side service. Called from outside as requested. When I wanted to ask to add to my order, the call disconnected. I called right back. Got a different person..explained I had just called in to pick up the order but wanted to add something. Well turns out, needing to add something to you order last minute is very inconvenient and not appreciated in any way. This merits you unkind tones and a scolding. Very unpleasant experience. In these very difficult times in our life; this is not a supportive environment to work with. Pet Smart may be out of the way. But they do appreciate the business and understand that this is a community thing.

Just arrived in Ottawa and this place is great. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who have made some great recommendations.

All the staff are always very nice but the prices are very steep compared to other pet stores. I only really shop here because it's close to my house when I need something for my cat or dog. But if I had a choice I go to PetSmart for better prices.
