Very helpful staff and great product selection. Plus it's close. I want to stress how great it is to have a dog wash for those occasions he gets full of mud while we're out. Better than trying to get him up to the tub!

To have a Large Chain pet store in town makes life so much easier. I especially love the "bathing area" for my two McScruff-a-mutts. I put my more reluctant Bichon-Poo in the tub, and the Poodle happily jumps in too to wait his turn. And it's only $10/dog. Great value for those mid-grooming bath requirements.

Went in looking for help switching my cat to new food. After explaining to the associate that he was having trouble with bowel movements and I wanted to take him off Purina food, and switch him to something of better quality, all they could tell me was that he has parasites and I should take him to the vet and could only recommend me "anything from the house brand" ... After having decided what I ruled out to be the best choice, I took my purchase to the register, where I waited for the associate to come ring me up. It took several minutes before the associate even noticed I was there ... while having my items checked out, the associate could not offer any conversation, aside from telling me about the rewards program for the store, not even a "Thanks, have a good day". A thirty two dollar bag of cat food is not worth the customer service, make the extra trip and go to Pet Smart on Merrivale.

Clean store and friendly staff! We used the dog wash station where they provide shampoo, water, towels, and a blow dryer for $10. My dog wasn't a huge fan and was a bit noisy with the blow dryer, hopefully the staff didn't mind!

Great place in Richmond to find all of your needs for all of your pets. Barry is great and super friendly. I'm there practically weekly and they always have a good supply of soft local food for our older dog.

A wonderful place for all your pet's needs. I especially appreciate the self serve dog bath. It is so much easier on my back to bathe my dog here! Actually, everything about bathing my dog here Vs. home is easier! The staff is so friendly and helpful, great customer service. I highly recommend visiting for any of your pet's needs.

I brought my dog in today and had such an amazing experience. We were there because he recently received a terminal diagnosis and only has a few more days, so I brought him on a shopping spree. The help and care we received from the staff was second to none.

So great to have a nice pet store in Richmond! Staff are always friendly, and selection is pretty good (at least they have the Nutro food my dogs like). Convenient Dog washing stations are available and look clean, though I've not had the chance to use them. They often have special events to educate (i.e. Retired greyhound info sessions), and regularly have a nail trimming specialist in monthly I think.

Helpful staff. Pricey merandise

Had terrible customer service. Went in looking for an e-collar; she showed me post-surgery cones. I told her that wasn't what I needed and she lectured me, saying that an e-collar was the cone. Eventually got her to show me the collars. I asked questions about the features (ie vibrate, beep) and she just handed me one that sprays citronella and says, "This one beeps". I said, actually, it doesn't. I showed her on the boxes which ones had beeps and vibrations. She was disinterested. I left without making a purchase.
