The PetsHotel Doggie Day Camp at this location is amazing and they love our pup so much! He gets SO excited when we tell him he is going to “camp”, and pulls us into the store. Very friendly staff that take such good care of our little guy!

I wish I could give less than one star for this PetSmart for the grooming. I’ve taken my pet here for months, he had no issues ever. I took him for grooming in October and when I went to pick him up, I was told that he didn’t cooperate for the nails trim. I’ve never had any feedback like this before. I took him for his grooming appointment the next month. They took him in but I received a call in 20 minutes saying that my pet is “too big” for the service. So, suddenly, in one month, my pet is too big for their “tables”. The groomer, Keden, should not be working as a pet groomer if she cannot do her job. Talking to the manager wasn’t much of a help either, because she was just giving me lame excuses. I definitely do not recommend this store for grooming. If you go, do not book it with Keden because she definitely does not know how to do the job!! Negative stars, if I could give.

Store is big and has a lot of variety but I wished the staff was more helpful. There's so many products, it's very overwhelming! So many food varieties and I got a new puppy that weekend and I wanted to see which size a crate on display was. Lady came told me the size, saw that they were up above, impossible for me to reach and just said yeah... you need one and that was it. No help in wair let me get a ladder and we can take it down. Nothing. In the end I got another crate that was more accesible but so annoying! The other was cheaper. Anyway it's an alright store.

Beware! Grooming is dangerous at this location. My dog came back with multiple cuts. Have to take him to the vet. Pet Smart doesn’t care (said I signed a contract). Just a business with no passion for caring for dogs or pets.

Staff here is outstanding and groom quality is top tier. Keden is a wonderful Groomer with wonderful customer service! His attention to detail when haircutting and love for the fur babies he works with is unmatched! Highly recommended booking in for all the tender love and care your pup could possibly get :)

We’ve been taking our medium-sized dog to this location for grooming for 10 years. She’s very calm and there’s never been any issues. PetSmart cancelled her appointment in August at the last minute and rebooked for a month later. That 2nd appointment was cancelled as well at the last minute. Today was the 3rd try, and when originally booking it we asked that it be any groomer who will definitely be there, to avoid being cancelled on again. We were assured the person we were talking to was the manager and would certainly be working. Lo and behold, the appointment was cancelled this morning and they’d like to reschedule for November. We explained the situation (that we’d been cancelled on 3 times since August and our dog, who is 12, is now falling down stairs because of the long fur around her paws, not to mention her fur being so long in general it’s getting out of control). We asked repeatedly that they fit us in at any time in the next week as now it’s becoming a safety issue, rather than waiting for another month and possibly having it be cancelled again. Finally, we asked to speak to a manager. None of that worked, instead we got stock responses laced with snarky attitude, despite our patience until now and a decade of our business. They flat out refused to put us in touch with a supervisor. We were treated like sub-tier customers. Moving on to a new groomer, and with this level of customer service, it would take a lot to convince us to ever go back there.

They took a excellent care of my cat. They were answering my calls whenever i wanted to check on Mozart. Excellent customer service,very kind staff. Thank you everyone from us and Mozart.

The place is a chop shop and slum house with a painted up faux front. Your animal would be safer tied to a tree outside than in their daycare and be better off getting trimmed by a hedge trimmer than one of the poorly trained "we print our own certificates with no outside auditing" groomers. It's rushed, it's unsafe, and it's solely to make as much money as possible the health and safety of the animals takes a backseat.

The water chemistry just doesn't add up in my apartment building! High 8s and low 9s. Needs to be neutral about 7. Can't set my tank up. Don't want to chase the ph it's not good for the inhabitants in a community tank.

Disappointing experience at Petsmart. Visited for the first time and encountered an issue at the checkout. A young lady, who should be polite with customers, ignored me and insisted the line starts on the other side, despite no clear signage. When I pointed out it was my turn, she continued to ignore me. Regardless of who is at fault, customer service requires courtesy, which was severely lacking in this case. Hope the staff, especially this individual, can improve their behavior towards customers.

Their shelves are well organized. Their staff is quite knowledgeable about their items and they're always willing to help. They even welcome me showing off and talking about my Bengals!! I have nothing negative to say about Petsmart.

Beth groomed our dog Maple today and did an amazing job!! We were really nervous as it was Maple's first time being groomed in a salon but Beth made him feel so comfortable that he actually enjoyed the experience. His haircut is so cute and we'll definitely bring Maple back to see Beth again for his next grooming!

I have gone to this petsmart a few times throughout the week to try and buy a bed for my puppy, but everytime I go they are doing training in the area of the beds. You cant look at them as everyone is sitting along the bed section. The lady informed me that it's an all day thing, so not sure how anybody would be able to look/purchase a bed. You should have a designated section for this so customers can look/purchase a bed for their puppy/dog. I will be going else where to purchase a bed for my puppy.

The store is large and a bit overwhelming to the uninitiated. However. One quickly realizes that there is a strong preference given to dogs and their owners. In fact, roughly half of this mammoth location is solely dedicated to man's best friend...the canine. Since I was with a friend who was picking up some initial supplies for the new canine addition to his family, the clear bias towards dogs was not an issue. He wandered the aisles for aboit 45 mins and loaded his cart with everything a new doggie daddy could ever dream of needing. At the checkout he bought one of those engraveable dog tags. After finding the machine, conveniently and logically located in the fish section, we followed the instructions on the macjinronly to find the bar code containing all the tag related info wuld not scan. After speaking to an associate and several failed attempts by her to make it work, it was suggested he pick a different style of tag, which he did. After the couple we let go ahead of us finished we tried the new tag only to find it too would not read. By this point we had two associates working with us, both of whom were perplexed and at a loss as to why our bar codes would .not work. As my buddy went to go pick out his third choice of tag. one of the associates remembered a work-around. Thank goodness for that or I fear we would still be at the kiosk today. A special thanks to the two ladies who helped us!

Enjoyed the puppy class but don't set your expectations too high. It's for puppies. Brought our dog in for the full grooming package but unfortunately the tech was only able to trim 2 paws and cut hair around his face. I definitely expected better

Pet smart on Inness rd. Nice store but staff are either not probably trained in costumer service or had no supervisor tonight… lots of items without pricing, when we asked an employee for the price we got “oh we don’t have scanners here…. Sorry…” so… as a customer how are expected to shop? We brought out item to the cash for the price, the cashier scanned it and smiled, we then returned the item to its rightful place and left. The employees at Petsmart at Greenbank and Strandherd, although a very small store, the staff are wonderful.

Pets Hotel is 5 stars. Grooming facility is 0 stars. Decided to give them a second chance after vowing I’d never bring my dogs there 10y ago. Terrible job, cuts, uneven.

I was honestly very disappointed in the selection of dog toys that was available... one big isle, empty for the moat part. Was also looking for hands free leash for my mother in law and there were only 3 options which didn't look very nice or seemed to be of comparable quality to RC brand... doubt I will go back to this store.

We went May 17th and the staff were so very knowledgeable. In every area. They really made the effort to ensure we had the best deals and assistance. Sometimes being a new pet parent is daunting...let alone getting all the stuff you need dor them...but all the staff made us comfortable

I love Pet Smart. It has everything I need for my two Siberians. I always receive friendly service and always find what I need. They do a great job on customer service. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Went in to pick up crickets. Almost every container on the shelf were full of dead crickets. Don't count count on these guys for a drop in and go experience.

THE BEST place to buy pet food. Period. 1. They have cross-platform sales very often (15% off of everything online) 2. Very easy to see what's in stock, order, and reorder. 3. Shipping is fast and free over $49. 4. The selection is great. 5. Every time I made a large order ($150+), they included a cute toy for free. Last one was a $20 value (see picture). 6. The prices are either better or similar to their competitors, and they do price-match as well. I'm really glad these guys are an option even though we moved to Gatineau. They still free-ship to us from Ottawa to Gatineau! Thank you, PetSmart.

PetSmart shouldn't sell animals. The leopard geckos looked super rough. Had a bunch of stuck shed on them and live in unsuitable conditions, plus look they they have beginning stages of MBD. Betta fish should not be kept in small cups. Aside from that I bought some frogs from them recently and all the aquatic frogs I bought died in the first week. The other two I bought from a different store are doing great so I know it's not my tank. The whites tree frog I bought has some kind of neurological issue that should have been obvious to the employees. He can't catch his own food so I don't know how they were feeding him. He can't climb anything or he falls over on his back, walks around in circles and stares up into space for hours. Was like that since the first day I brought him home. I know there is a 14 day satisfaction guarantee but based on what I've seen there I don't trust them to take care of him properly. Employees need to be better educated on proper husbandry cause it's just sad what these animals are enduring.

Honestly, it's almost like a one-stop shop for pet lovers/ owners. They offer a variety of products for a variety of pets. They offer a pet daycare and grooming. It also is a great stop for the kids to look at all the pets.

Staff gave me false information on how to care for my pet. Although not correct, we're sweet. Recommend doing extensive research before purchasing an animal here. They recommended having a 5.0 UVB light for my gecko, it should be 10.0. Also said I needed a nighttime lamp. Didn't specify what type of lamp so I did my research, Geckos shouldn't have any type of light on at night.

This location is great, although typically moderately busy, the staff are always very welcoming and understanding of pets needs!

Huge store with lots of selection to choose from. The staff are very friendly and the store is clean and organized. They had lots of dogs in the dog daycare and they had very cute cats in the adoption center at the back of the store. They were even holding puppy training in the back of the store when we were there, so we got to watch and see all the puppies, which was fun too. The prices were decent overall, but they did have items for a wide range of budgets.

I got a cat toy from the store and it was missing a part. I spoke with the manager and, thankfully, he fixed the issue and gave a discount. The prices are higher than some pet stores and online vendors; however, the staff are helpful and offer refunds. It is a huge place that offers various products for fish, birds, dogs, cat, etc... Good pet hotel with reasonable fees. Staff adore pets. There is a section for adopting kittens and cats and a place where volunteers can spend time with pets in the adoption section. There is also a section for training dogs. Thank you, Erik and the team.

Great, knowledgeable staff. This trip was for my two cats $70 small-@ss bag of food (but inflation at this unprecedented rate of growth is quite phenomenal....and that's not always a good thing). So prices aside, I KNOW, without any doubt, that these dedicated PetSmart employees would be there to answer any and every question I could ever have! Love the atmosphere here as well; extremely friendly!

I scheduled a grooming appointment for my long-haired German shepherd, and arrived to find out that parts of his base coat were too matted to wash without being cut first - and that they did not have time to accommodate us for that service for another month. While I appreciate being educated on the reasoning behind the decision, I think this could have been avoided by a screening e-mail or phone call to make sure he was prepared for his appointment, as this ultimately ended up wasting time for everyone involved, and as a new dog owner this was not something I was aware of.

The staff were great. I went in to buy a new collar for my dog, and I needed a price check on Christmas outfit for dogs and the clerk helped me right there and then. Because of her service, I did buy the outfit along with my dogs new collar.

Very thankful we chose PetSmart and specifically this location for our cat Tyga's 16 night long stay in the PetsHotel. We simply had to drop him off and they took care of rest such as feeding, litter and play time as well as his overnight accommodation. Feeding is very flexible and the menu has lots of choices for both wet and dry food. I can tell that the workers were passionate about their jobs and cared for the pets and we will be choosing this location again in the future. Thank you so much for taking care of Tyga and giving use some piece of mind knowing that he was well taken care of!

This was the first time I had my dog stay at the hotel. Kingsley (My dog) had a wonderful time. The staff were amazing with him and cared a great deal about his well being. They listened to Kingsley’s likes and dislikes and acted accordingly. I will definitely being using their services again.

Clean and bright store. This location has a really good selection of live animals for sale as well (reptiles, birds, fish, and small mammals).

We brought our six month old puppy here for his first groom and we are super happy with the service and his cut! The haircut was less time than anticipated, the staff was super knowledgeable and friendly to both us and our pup, and he looks so cute. Thank you!

Just had our 5-yr-old Shepherd-Collie groomed by Emily. She did an amazing job and is so good to Koda who hates baths and getting his nails trimmed. We highly recommend Emily and we ourselves will definitely go back to her when Koda needs to be groomed.

I'm sure it's a very good store mostly. But when you drive in from the country to buy a dog bed and run errands only to find that there's a training class in session and you have to wait, well that's annoying. It kinda details your plans for the day. This store has tons of space, but it's poorly laid out when they use sales floor space for dog training. Big, glaring oversight.

Blatant animal cruelty. They keep Betta fish in tiny containers on the edge of an aisle, always directly lit up by a very bright light. Anyone who does any basic amount of research will know that is animal cruelty. They are also precariously placed on the edges where people can easily bump into them! The small animals and reptiles also have awful enclosures. And if you try asking how they bring them in or what breeders they get them from... good luck. Some of them it's clear they are sick but staff seem to know nothing. Also do not buy aquarium decorations here. They are all coated with paint and other lethal substances for your aquatic pets. Many plants and decorations also have really sharp surfaces that can harm your animals. Most of the substrate selection is small painted rocks, which is toxic. Oh yeah and can't forget they do dog training in the aisles so you can't go find what you're looking for. My friend needed cat food and if we tried to approach all the dogs would bark at us and owners wouldn't move from their seats right in front of the products.

We got the most loving, sweet cat from here. I always get urinary tract wet cat food here for our other cat. There is a good variety. We get our dog groomed here, too. They have walk in dog nail clipping at a reasonable price and they are always great with our pug.

The service here is superb! Prices seem fair... really though the lady that helped us was informative, polite, and went beyond to help!

Always a hard time to get the dog food we want. They have the same brand just never the same flavors. We always go for the propplan, we try to get salmon and rice its hit or miss if they have any. You'd think they would stock more. Customer service is always good.

100% satisfied with the quality of the grooming and washing of my beautiful Shetland Sheepdog. Fur is as soft and smooth as ever. Danika and another girl did a fantastic job. They did everything I asked for. Definitely will come back again. They know how to do the work properly.

Overall majority of the staff are very kind and helpful when it comes to searching products. One of the most organized petsmart I've ever been to. I've also taken training for my dog for the puppy/beginner, intermediate, as well as advanced. The trainers are very well trained and educated. They definitely know what they're doing. Most importantly the trainers build a strong relationship with your pet so when it comes to training your dog is very comfortable in the class.

Pet Smart is our regular spot for purchasing food for our cat. We shop at the Innes Rd. site in Ottawa. They are very good.
