Always go on a weekday morning - there aren't many people or kids it is quieter and cleaner and easier to shop. We love grabbing breakfast here too. For the price you can't go wrong. Plus they serve pancakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls as well if you don't want the traditional full breakfast.

It's nice to pop in every now and then for some cheap storage and get some inspiration in the show room. I do prefer the click and collect for the most part, and just purchasing online and picking up in store. Cafeteria is fine, and the service is always great. I love just getting a plate of fries and ketchup. Their veggie meatballs are awesome too! I do think that a lot of people lose their sense of direction and common courtesy in this store, which makes things hectic. Some people just walk right into you, over you, or don't move for you, by the end of it, you just want to get out.

When I walked into IKEA Ottawa, it was immediately clear that this wasn't just any furniture store. The expansive showroom floors are designed thoughtfully, showcasing a multitude of room setups that inspire a sense of home. From sleek and modern designs to cozy and rustic aesthetics, there's something for every taste. Their furniture is not only stylish but also functional and durable, offering incredible value for the price. As I wandered through the maze of home decor, I was struck by the diversity of items available. From intricately designed lamps and colorful cushions to minimalist wall art and elegant vases, the choices seemed endless, making it easy to envision a refreshed space in my home. However, the unexpected highlight of my visit was the food section. It’s a treat to find such delicious, yet affordable meals and snacks. Whether you're in the mood for their iconic Swedish meatballs or a slice of delectable almond cake, there's something to satisfy every palate! 😁

Food is surprisingly well priced and you are getting a decent little meal. I really can't complain besides wanting some mac and cheese and there being none. The fish and chips were nicely battered. It wasn't a fluffy one you would expect from a freshly fried filet, but was a decent tasting box style fried fish. Poutine was a poutine, not squeaky cheese and was not drowning in sauce. I really like the mash potato, reminded me of the mash you get at fancy restaurants with allot of butter. The veg meatballs were dense and pretty good, I would eat the other non meat ones though as they taste better. All in all I can't complain as it was a decent little meal and the desert was nice.

Amazing customer journey. Everything is organized logically with high aesthetic sense. I’ve bought many stuff here, some of them were a bit pricy but I found there always lots of deals as well. Shopping carts on the second-floor lobby should be placed visibly rather than hidden behind a big backdrop. I only realized this after my forth time visiting here. I love fish and chips and the strawberry ice cream, sometimes seasonal menu like chicken curry, at the Swedish restaurant. Enjoy spending time in this restaurant even just for working.

Ikea has always been a fun and good store to visit... You will find sturdy and good quality furniture at a good price , however, It's gotten more expensive than before and even the as-is section and items are overpriced. The furniture and products selection are still great and solid, and most items are good and very functional. We purchased a kitchen in the past and it lasted many years through tons is usage. The restaurant is good and the food is nice and at a reasonable price... the store is kid and child friendly also. Large parking outside and easily accessible from the highway.

Day 71. Still haven't made it out of the store, it is a complete maze. I'm not sure I can make it. While I have spent the last 4 days in the kitchen area, I believe the next section will be full of beds to help me recover on this once in a life time journey. I stumbled across a few leftover meatballs and I have been licking water droplets off of the wall that have formed due to the humidity. As I stare through the distance I can see a BRIMENS closet that almost seems like it's staring back at me, as a ray of sun shines on the wardrobe mirror and reflects back at me. I think it's a sign. Could it be a way out? I can see the light. Baby shark. 13/09/2021. 10:46 PM laying on mg stomach on a MÖRBYLÅNGA kitchen table with my feet up in the air. Spread awareness. Thank you.

It's IKEA... mid-range quality for a decent price. Huge selection of household things from pet beds to pantry storage, from full kitchen rebuilds to quick refresh of bedding or curtains. I still have IKEA furniture from 20 years ago, so certain items do stand the test of time, but overall, the materials are cheaper and get knicks/dents and scratches fairly easily (such as my flat-pack hall wardrobe which is only 2 years old). You know what you are going to get, and you can shop for a wide range of things in one place. There are many styles and ways to customize your look, and online videos show how to use/improve on the style of the items. OTOH, the layout of the Ottawa store is terrifying if you hate feeling like a rat in a maze; thankfully, you can search online and pick up a few days later. The biggest issue is that the Ottawa store is often out of stock or one piece of a unit is out of stock (For months I haven't been able to get the shelf for my wardrobe, or the right colour of an organizer I wanted.) All in all, it is a reliable store to buy home furniture and supplies.

Family washroom outside the Restaurant is easily one of the nicest I have used so far! Spacious with locking doors to the hallway and washroom area. The nursing area itself was nicely decorated and had adjustable lighting, a comfortable chair, pillow & toy kitchen available. Bathroom area could have been a bit cleaner.

Pros: 1-year return policy, good prices. Cons: Since mid 2020, they are having more and more trouble with keeping stock on the shelves. The good thing about it is that the lines are short now, even in weekends! (Both in the returns and in the checkouts) and plenty of parking space. The bad thing is that you might have to wait months before finishing a project. We bought a cabinet, and then waited 2 months to get shelves for it.

Loving the new layout! Lots of space! The decor in their rooms are so much fun! We got our advent calendar for the chocolates! We used self check out, and walked around so we didn’t really interact with any staff at all. We knew what we were going for.

The best furniture store on the planet. Surprisely this store had great items. I went in to buy one thing and ended up wanting to buy everything. The store is pretty big and the prices are great. I saw wonderful items ranging from bedroom sets to mirrors. There were many other items available for my house. I ended up buying two white dressers. I wanted to buy a large circular mirror but end up not buying it. The big stores like Leons and the brick are small in comparison with Ikea which has more inventory. Ikea also has much better prices. The furniture here is remarkable I really enjoyed the selection and the ease of finding what I needed and getting it into my vehicle. I must admit this is my favorite furniture store of all time. In addition they have a unique restaurant with very low prices. I didn't get to eat anything but in the past the food has always been great. This place was great with low prices I will definitely visit again.

I scheduled a pickup for a full set of kitchen cabinets. But for the wrong time 8pm instead of am! Shane, from the click and collect team, checked into it when I arrived 12 hours early and was able to find a way to finish picking my order and get me off to assemble/install. Much appreciated customer service and willingness to find solutions for customer mistakes. And a comfy place to wait. Thanks!

The only Ikea to my knowledge in Ottawa and the experience is a treat. you got the dinner area for great breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the little grocery store inside by the checkout. You can also get anything for your home, from beds to flowers. The staff are very helpful and i go there whenever i need something for my home.

Always fun to go there. I love the room designs they create to showcase their products and show that you don't always need a big room to make it nice and functional. They pretty much always have stock for their items. Lots of decorations to and affordable prices. Yes, their meatball plate is awesome and they sell food near the cash registers.

Visit Store To Validate Inventory There is an ongoing disconnect between what the IKEA website says is in inventory and what is actually sitting on the store shelves at IKEA Ottawa. If you are waiting on inventory to appear on the website I can recommend making a trip to the physical store in Ottawa because inventory is not being updated. We have been monitoring closely for a number of items as recently as last week. During our visit to the physical store the associate assured us that the website reflected accurate information. I asked that they take the extra time to double check. Upon doing so we found exactly what we were waiting on. The store is huge. The process to navigate this place is an unpleasant exercise and clients are forced into the maze. Pack water, and a snack. IKEA, undoubtedly has the best place for functional, space-saving furniture and home decor. I hope to visit again and raise the star-rating!

It wasn't too busy when we arrived at 10:30 am on a Saturday but quickly got busier. We went to check out couches and beds. Stopped by to grab some lunch. Food is always good for the price!

It’s a living hell to navigate this faux modern furniture maze. Check your expectations and faith in humanity at the door. Go find that acceptable cabinet at a reasonable price that you will regret buying six months from now. Seriously, IKEA needs a commuter express lane for anyone that knows what they want.

Lots of great products, often at reasonable prices. Easy to get lost in store, can be hard to find a product you've seen on the website, products in store have very little if any information like materials, care, or even description. Busy enough to bother my anxiety even during their less busy hours.

Huge please compare to European IKEAs. Good structure of a building, but 1-2 flor a bit unusual if you want to buy everything you see:))) Looks like a nice place to buy staff for home, and it is. Some cups sales for $1.5-2.5. A lot of kitchen staff for good price. Definitely recommend for people who like to see and then buy. Otherwise IKEA has great online store.

Price on bed varied 3 times on same bed in store. Otherwise loved walking about to furniture shop! Found two beds we liked. One of the bed comes with no storage under or 2 or 4 drawers. Now to deside. Downside order online won't deliver to our address...too far in country yet still we are part city.

You can find everything for your house 🏠, It's little difficult to find the correct place but you can do it, we enjoyed the area food too, was good and fast. In our first big purchase, we felt little alone, there's no people who help you kindly, we had two moments, the first one was when we tried to find blankets and we asked a person who was there, she just pointed a screen and said "you can find there", she didn't accompany to machine and anybody explain to used it, (Pro: system is very easy to use). The second one was when we tried to pay. We was trying to scan a big staff, but was really big and heavy, and we couldn't find code, so we asked a boy who was there, him in a rude way pointed us the code, but he saw us struggling with the staff and he didn't help us. In general words, they need more customer service, because the products have good quality.

Visit Sunday September 4, 2022 (Labour y long weekend). Very busy today at this location but additional security staff were directing traffic. I suspect this location has a larger floor area than the Vaughan / Toronto location. Was able to find and purchase all items I was looking for. Reasonably priced, good quality and staff were able to assist.

Such a great place to find furniture and pretty much everything you need to grab for your home or office. Spent a while just walking around and browsing things. My favourite section was most definitely the lamp section!

It is always interesting to see the room designs that may inspire an individual for their own projects. This store is so huge, make sure you have energy to walk through the whole store. If your energy wanes the restaurant has good food at reasonable prices and a quick counter at the end for their yummy lingonberry sundae!

Busy place especially on weekends... have lots of stuff for kitchen ...home...kids...even small wooden blocks and toys for kids are so educational and reasonable priced. Must visit if want to decorate your nest with best and reasonable price stuff. Also, best place to find best and unique art pieces and photo frames.

We tried their new return system and it works great. We booked online and arrive around 1 hour earlier. We thought we had to wait for a while to get in, but it turned out it was not as rigid. The staff who welcomed us adjusted our booking and we finished our return after staying in the line for 15 mins.

I always love visiting Ikea, however most of what we needed (not wanted... needed) was sold out and the pick-up shelf space empty (not the first time unfortunately). Our wallet was happy and relieved, but our needs were not met. Maybe once the pandemic is over?

IKEA is my favourite store to purchase furniture and other utilities. Best product at an affordable rate. Location is perfect and have accessible entrance for everyone. Wheelchair facilities are available and food court is open if you are hungry. Billing is quick

IKEA is a good place to buy simple inexpensive furniture and home decore. This IKEA outlet store is very big with 2 floors of merchandise that will amaze you by their innovative styles and a swedish product name that is often 15 or more character letters long. There is a ball room for kids to play in as well as a large store labyrinth I think that was designed to make you see more stuff along the journey in the store. The store displays are very inspiring and it is hard not to buý something when you are there. The price points are very affordable and especially popluar with those on a tight budget like students when they leave the family home for the first time. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Fun facts IKEA's name is an acronym that stands for Ingvar Kamprad (company founder's name) Elmtaryd (name of founder's family farm) Agunnaryd (name of the founder's village he lived in) The blue and yellow colours of IKEA's logo is the same colours of the Swedish flag. If you like my review, photos or videos hit the thumbs up knapp.

Covid protocols and supply shortages made this a less than wonderful experience. AHalf the items we needed were out of stock and not being able to use cash when buying a cheap hotdog is the height of stupidity.

  • 4/5 Dale S. 2 years ago on Google
This IKEA is very large, but oddly I find that the variety and availability of products was a little lacking vs our typical experience in say Toronto. Maybe they’ve been hit hard by the pandemic and production and shipments have been impacted. But there were many yellow tags on items saying currently unavailable. I would say shop/check online to see what’s available in store before you head inside. The bistro is pretty good! Inexpensive food that tastes aok. We always look forward to having at least a hotdog and if we have the time definitely get the meatballs 👌🏾

I always like to go in and check out what I'm thinking of buying. I recently moved and my couch did not fit so I was looking for something small enough to fit in my place. The futon was perfect! Small enough to fit and now I have something for my guest to stay the night on if they wish.
