👍👍 This was astonishing to first see the outside - what an emmense store and so modern and nice looking from outside. 2 floors of products, lots of room to walk around. To me state of the art store. If they make them all like this wow!!!! Service and help was awesome and friendly workers. People often mention store, Canadian, Tire, find, staff, service, needed, location, time, work,

I don't like to post negative reviews but I left frustrated. I needed to attach a towing wire harness onto my truck as my 4-pin wire had broken off. I had the details from my manual and went into the store. Tons of selection which is amazing but I needed help. The staff member admitted he couldn't help me bc he wasn't very knowledgeable but recommended I go to the service dept for advice on what I needed to buy. I thought that was really good. So I went to the service area, described my situation, and was somewhat rudely told I'd have to buy it in store and then they'd install it for 160/hr. I said I needed help to know what specifically to buy and they said the in-store clerk could tell me. I explained he sent me out here. He replied they only do installs here and again reiterated they don't do trailer installs. It showed he wasn't listening and an unwillingness to help. I left. I found another place, Campbell Ford, who took the 30 seconds needed to look at my truck and make a recommendation for next steps. Super easy and what I expect. Guess who has my business moving forward. Otherwise, the store itself is massive, always clean, and loads of great selection.

I was really impressed first by seeing the outside of the store. It’s a huge store, a mall in itself. Looks are so modern with so many products spread across two floors. Also I was amazed to see the Christmas products, the variety they have. If you celebrate Christmas make sure you visit this store ones, you will never regret.

I had a great experience purchasing a bike from here. It was late and no bike specialist available at the time. However staff from another department helped me find what I need. the cashier was very helpful. Thank you

I bought the Mastercraft ½” Cordless Impact Wrench on December 1st for $249.99+tax. Tried to return it December 11th because it simply would not remove my cars tires on it’s own (not powerful enough). Brenda the general manager refused to refund my money saying that because it was used (damaged) I could only get in store credit. I told her I was not happy with that seeing I bought this Canadian Tire product that did not perform as they advertised and vouched for as “Tested”. She went on to tell me that “there is no cordless Impact Wrench that can remove tires Canadian tire installs because they tighten them way beyond manufactures specifications” and then smirked. Please see the attached pictures of what they refer to as used damaged. She also said if I would of brought it back the same day it would have been different. This tool requires charging before use and I simply bought it with the intentions of swapping to my winter tires on the weekend. When I tried it and it didn’t work, I brought it back the very next weekend. I was tired of arguing seeing I would likely spend the store credit in the near future anyways but told her I was going to leave a bad review of the product and the return customer service. She told me good because “head office will see the remarks and maybe stop advertising this product as being able to do something it can’t”. Do not buy tools from this location unless you know you will not ever have to return it..

Huge! Loved the garden center. Lots of options in the store. Two stories of merchandise with lots of space to move around.

This store is amazing. It has everything you could ever need from automotive to pets to outdoor, living, camping and patio furniture to lighting, from door locks to bike locks... Just step inside their newly renovated store and see what you can find! I would highly recommend checking out this store and taking your time to get to know it because it is quite a large store but everything is laid out just right, if you need any help, there is a service desk on the main level. When you first enter the store, they can help you find what you need.. you can also check out their online flyer at: HTTPS://WWW.CANADIANTIRE.CA This new store was opened in 2023 and is well worth taking a walk through to see what they have in store for you! Just wanted to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. Called on Sunday got the car in on Monday. Service advisor and mechanic (Joseph) were exceptional to deal with. Thought it might be one of those things where I would end up getting lots of parts I didn't need. They checked it out showed me what I needed and did the work. Would highly recommend them. Thank you

Went there for car inspections few weeks back. Was suggested a lot of repair work to meet inspection standards. I ended up going to another place to pass the inspection. Clearly, there cannot be two safety standards for same car. I felt car mechanics was trying to make more money by being dishonest and unnecessary fixes that were not needed. This place should be reported to market place scams!

Big store, I'm sure you can find lots of stuff for your home project. I only came here for plants though, and their plants look extremely sick and uncared for. I spotted a few healthy looking ones that I wanna pick up, but I'm scared to do so because they're all bunched together so there's no guarantee that the healthy looking ones are actually healthy.

I took advantage of the first anniversary of the flagship Canadian Tire store. It is so spacious and relaxed. Everything is well organized, and I was never in anyone else's way because the isles are so large. Using the app and noting the isle for each item I wanted, I was able to go straight to it. Bill in automotive was knowledgeable and recommended the same tires I was interested in. We purchased 2x sets, and he was kind enough to punch in the codes of our other purchases. Talk about going above and beyond! The automotive area was large and quiet. We were served quickly. I wish we lived closer to this store!

Compare with other stores before buying. Good to buy only on sales. Update: we had to exchange a coffee maker that we bought, it was easy and staff were very helpful.

Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited is a Canadian retail company which operates in the automotive, hardware, sports, leisure and housewares sectors. Canadian Tire Corporation was launched by John William (J.W.) and Alfred Jackson (A.J.) Billes in 1922, when the two brothers purchased the Hamilton Tire and Garage Ltd., located in Toronto's Riverdale neighbourhood. Canadian Tire has a sustainable competitive advantage that stems from its trusted brand, unique assortment, modern store network and global sourcing capabilities.

From what I understand the largest Canadian Tire ever built. Super spacious. Although though there is a few new areas like appliances I found it still had the same categories just a much larger selection of each. All in all just a beautiful store. Two storey with elevators and very wide escalators.

Just left this Canadian Tire location to buy a couple of items. When I arrived at front of the store. I went to the front desk where a female employee was standing at. I asked her a few questions where in the store I'd be able to find the two particular items I was looking for. She gave me excellent customer service very pleasant. Went up stairs to the isle she told me items were at. Then saw another employee nearby, asked him which item would work better and how it would work. He gave amazing service was very pleasant and courteous. Store is super clean, and easy to find what you're looking for. Staff here are amazing. The location is a lot more convenient than their old location which was to far. Love this new location which is super convenient that it's in the Carlingwood mall which your able to do other stuff while your here. I will definitely come to this store all the time.

Canadian Tire has the best e-commerce platform hands down. Easy to buy online and a quick pickup at the store. In store purchasing is also super easy with great friendly staff.

Wow it is really the biggest Canadian Tire I have ever seen. Staff was nice to help, very clean, cool glass elevator to go to 2nd floor. Lots of choices, I found everything I was looking for. I would put more than 2 cashiers around lunchtime on weekdays.

I just went to Canadian Tire heaven. This time looking for bike stuff and there are aisles of bikes and paraphenelia. Same with all the other sections, so much variety. It's across town for me but is now my go-to.

This is one of the best Canadian Tire that I have been. The store very well organized and Big. The client service/ staff are great! You find almost anything you need in this store. Especially entering into a new season. You can find everything you need for your backyard. Check it out!

This is the most spacious and modern Canadian Tire I’ve ever been to. It’s huge and feels more like an airport building. But the space is very well organized, with tools, hardware and everything else for your renovation or DIY projects on the second floor. Sports, and fishing and hunting products are also on the second floor. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

This store is huge. Well laid-out and bright, it was easy to find the football I was looking for. Good stock and inventory. Christmas is already everywhere, and a good selection.

I always have great service at this location but today the young man at the paint counter was outstanding! Earnest was so helpful, patient, kind - he really went above and beyond to help me out. I had a special art project I needed to do and he could have easily said no to my unusual request but he happily said yes. That is what great customer service is all about. He should teach a seminar :) Thanks Earnest and all the hard-working people at Canadian Tire Carling Ave!

Trying to contact Canadian Tire to inform them that their website needs to be upgraded since it doesn't work properly. Can't even send them a message through "contact us"... they've had the same message posted for months now, "Due to increased order volume and requests, we are unable to respond to email inquiries at this time..." I'd wouldn't be surprised if there's no one working that department. And let's be honest, Canadian Tire charges more for everything too. "The Canadian tire website is outdated. The site doesn't load most of the time, the search bar doesn't work and its such a hassle to use not to mention it doesn't work properly!!! I tried on several devices with the same result. Even tried the app, which couldn't find any stores or items. Canadian Tire's Mastercard is also disappointing lowest interest rate is 19.99%... I think I'm done with Canadian Tire. Get it together! Not worth my time anymore. ..... This message won't even send!!!!!! Lol goes to show how much of a joke this company really is.

Has good stock and theres a short wait time for email confirmation. The curbside pickup drive through is pretty chaotic. There are two separate lines which merges into one and many people end up cutting off other cars. It also causes people who have been waiting in the main line for a good 25 min to get cut in line by impatient drivers who have waited for maybe 5 minutes. I guess people dont really understand the concept of "zipper merging". Its no fault of the staff working, just careless and impatient driving. Perhaps if they set up 2 separate lines it would increase efficiency and not cause the traffic issues. Even posting a person to guide traffic (signaling cars through to follow a zipper merge pattern). Of course it's a tight spot where the lanes meet so it may not be safe for a staff to be standing there. Hence the 2 lane system would likely be better in terms of wait times and minimizing potential dangerous driving behaviours. The staff are friendly and efficient though so that makes it a good experience.

CT doing seasonal change over, lots of confusion and items to put out but also alot of red shirts...staff. I was quickly approached as I was looking for something and couldn't find it, I must of looked like I needed help. I was sent to the right area and whala, what I was looking for was right there easy peasy. In and out in record time with exactly what I was looking for. Thanks guys.

A really unique old school Canadian Tire. They even have a cart escalator here as it a multi floor store. I came to look at Thermos food containers but I’ll wait until they go on sale as they are very expensive.

This particular location on Carling is a cemetery for the plants. I wonder if anyone cares for them bc they look absolutely deeeaaad. 99% of the plants are dying by the second. It's saaaad, even though it's just plants. :(( Staff in paint department is friendly. Although, very limited choice of some products (kinds of varnish - satin, semi-gloss, gloss). I didn't find what I needed bc of that, & had to drive far to another CT store. As a result, wasted all day (bc in that location staff wasn't as knowledgeable) instead of having 30 min errand. :((

I got my new winter tires here since they were on sale. The process was hassle-free. The staff was very professional. The process did not take that long either since they have a big store where you can browse for a while. Will come back again!

It's a great store but their new check/cash out area is horrible because they make you walk through a maze of stuff before you can even get out of the store. Remember just because Winner's does it, this doesn't mean CT can! Before you were able to purchase your items on the second level and now it's like American Ninja checkout...

  • 2/5 Raymond M. 1 year ago on Google
This is the dumbest Canadian Tire store I've run into. You have to haul stuff up/down from the second floor where the main store and check-out counters live and it's just a pain if you need anything that is bigger than a bread basket. I understand that there is limited space, and you need a parking spaces but it just doesn't work for a hardware store. A perfect example of how, sometimes, less is best.

This Canadian Tire store has AMAZING service and friendly/helpful staff. This is a well-organized store where you can find anything you need for your home, garden or car all in one stop shopping. The isles are a little narrow for wheelchair accessibility but since the staff is so helpful, I don’t see this as a real problem! This store has some excellent sales to check out on a regular basis.

I went here, for the first time. It’s huge! The biggest store in Ottawa. There is a lot too see. I bought a cat scratcher. People were so friendly, it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. It’s in a nice location as well.

This store makes Costco look SMALL! Absolutely incredible. You can find literally anything here! Since it’s the largest Canadian Tire store ever built, I’d almost say it’s a tourist attraction 🤩

  • 5/5 MOE 1 year ago on Google
The largest CT I have ever seen. It is so large that they have all CT products in inventory including the seasonal items. The service center is very elegantly designed. Fully recommended to visit. Edited on Nov 24, 2022: their in-store pickup for online orders is located in a special locker area. Very cool and convenient idea!

  • 5/5 Nicholas G. 1 year ago on Google
It's huge! And awesome! Walking around the store was interesting and fun! I'm sure if you needed something this Canadian Tire would have it!

Great location and it was so huge!! A lot of space and if you love like to change your tire or do any mechanics stuff they have a nice lounge to stay and it's comfortable. Great job Canadian tire.

My husband and I buy a lot of our tools and household gadgets from Canadian Tire. We also service our car there. i usually have little trouble shopping there because my husband does an online search of the product, making it easy for me to find what I need. The staff is usually helpful and the cashiers pleasant, especially, when i cannot find my points card. I have had to do returns for various reasons and never had trouble returning an item even when I lack receipts. The staff is pretty cool to deal with, they can locate the product from your phone number. I suppose that the staff respond well to me because i never go to the store with a nasty attitude. I definitely recommend Canadian tire to people.

Checkout line moved quickly. One customer pushed his way roughly past other customers in line to reach a friend or relative near the front..Surprised that no store security rep said anything to him. He did not appear to be under the influence of any drugs. Anyway, upon reaching the rep at the cash, the transaction was processed quickly and efficiently.
