Love there new locker pick up system, easy to use and you can pick up at your convenience. I also had a great experience with the tools manager on Sunday. He help me pick what I needed to do the work I needed. He also sold me an item at 50% off even though the sale was over a week ago. Now this is customer service.

This review isn’t reflective of the cashier that helped us, only the management of this location. We noticed a discrepancy in price with 2 items we purchased. The items had the tag showing a price of $11.99, after getting to the cash they were $17.99, the cashier which was great and patient called over to the department where we picked up the item and confirmed the price to be $11.99, after almost 10mins of waiting for the department to come back with the price tag, the manager, Johnathan, comes over with the tag and states the wrong tag was in the spot of the item we picked and could only honor the price on the tag on one of the items. We told him that it was unacceptable as it was Canadian tire problem not the customers’, he lifts his shoulders in the way children do to say “meh not my problem”. I understand good employees is hard to come by these days but Canadian tire should at least make sure the ones in management aren’t the rude “I don’t care” employees and maybe promote the ones that represent the brand well. We walked away and told him to forget it as we had waited 10 mins plus the useless conversation with Jonathan equaling to 15 mins of our life we will never get back. The cashier apologized and was kind while the “manager” Johnathan walked away. The review before mine of the ex-employee is spot on with management. We will never recommend nor come back to this non-customer friendly store. I hope HQ reads this, so as not to get “we are sorry, please come back so we can show you what we should have done in the first place”.

Do not EVER take your car here for a simple tire change. They have children working here and staff are completely incompetent. We brought our Tesla in for new tires. They put the wrong size rim on our car and our car was rattling nonstop. We took it back the next day and they claimed there was nothing wrong so we took our car home again. We drove it another day and the rattling still continued and we took it back for a SECOND time and they said oops we put the wrong size rims on. The manager Lisa was extremely rude and was giving us attitude like it was our fault that their staff and systems are incompetent. Instead of acting apologetic Lisa was raising her voice and had no remorse. Now they want us to wait over 1 week for new rims meanwhile we now have no car because it's dangerous to drive the vehicle.

It's Canadian Tire. Nothing different at this location. Prices are high unless an item is on sale. I try to avoid shopping here unless there is no other option. Service is average. It was better but I think they no longer concentrate on customer service like they did some years ago.

Well I called ahead to verify if they could fix my tire knowing that they do not fix nails on the outer edge. I check with the front explaining that all I want is a patch to make the tire last the next two months. They wanted me to come in to discuss the situation only to send me e back wasting my time. I would have appreciate the shop manager to have come out of his office instead of sending third party to talk to me, especially with no cars in the shop at all. Done a lot of work at this shop with my 3 cars but no more for me.

Sorry for the poor review but, It would be really nice if the cat litter selection was stored on the bottom shelves or if there were ever any associates around to ask for assistance. I was in today 9/30/23 and was getting litter down of the third shelf (eye level) and got a pretty unpleasant scratch on my neck because the box slipped and I wasn't going to let it fall and make a mess.

What happened to customer service!!!!! I just left Barrhaven Canadian Tire after purchasing 3 items. When I got to the cashier, I placed my three items on the counter with my Canadian Tire recyclable bag. She rang up the three items and moved them to the end of the counter, however, didn't touch the bag, it just sat in the middle of the counter. I had to go back to the middle of the counter to get the bag, then I had to bag my purchases. I've experienced this cashier a few times in the past and she has absolutely no personality. A few minutes before I bought groceries at Farm Boy and what a difference, the cashier placed the meat into plastic bags before bagging them, now that is what I call customer service. I won't be shopping at this Canadian Tire location again.

Not professional at all, I took my car to change the cars battery. When I picked up my car I noticed they also changed the battery of my remote keys and they'd broken it. I called them and they said you must come a day to see their manager, when I went, they made me waiting for 30 minutes, but manager didn't come, and they said they will call me back to find a solution, but it's already one month and they didn't call me. My question is why they changed the battery without telling me, and why should I pay for a service that I didn't even request. They could call me to ask if I want to change it like all other garages. It was something that I could do by myself, but if you do it, why don't you fix your mistake?

I went to get new tires put in my car. I had a warranty charged I didn’t ask for, nor was I asked. 3 out of my 20 lug nuts were finger loose. I only found this out as my wheel shifted driving out of the parking lot, so I torqued them to see what happened… On top of all this two of my valve cores were loose so those tires had slow leaks, I managed to tighten those. I’m also fairly certain my wheels aren’t balanced as it shakes going faster then 70… Still charged for it. Literally every aspect of the tire change wasn’t done properly. I can’t imagine how people have functional cars after leaving this garage…

The automotive center absolutely saved my a** today . My shifter cable happened to disconnect while in the parking lot. I had to get to work quickly so I went right to the automotive department, I told them my situation and the mechanic Travis came out to help me . He got in , booted it up and knew the problem right away the shifter cable had disconnected. I told him I needed it fixed fast and he got me in right away. They did a great job accommodating my situation . Im very grateful for these guys and Travis thank you brother you did an exceptional job.

I bought a vacuum cleaner from here.the price and deal was good; but the staffs and the employee were horrible. When I asked for the vacuum, he told me ask from other employees. Even when had to help me because there wasn't any other staff there, he took the box and told me I don't give you the box. The most disrespectful, horrible employees ever in Canadian Tires.

Staff are amazing, dealt with parts and service. Both were amazing everytime I have dealt with them. It is scary how people treat workers who are trying just to do their job witnessed a few not so nice comments to staff even though they are just doing their jobs.

Items are usually in stock which is great but return policy is honestly so terrible. I prefer the Canadian Tire on Merivale or Heron they're much more reasonable with their returns. Tried to return an item and the salesperson asked if I opened it, I actually hadn't and said no but she refused to take it back and was quite rude about it. I try to avoid shopping at this location if I really don't have to.

The mechanic shop is dishonest and never on time. I have been told that safty check is 1-2 hours. First visit took them 4 hours! I was waiting there. Then I declined the repair, which was an option given to me on the phone, and they said rechecking is 25$, so I fixed the car with my mechanic. After two days went back and they didn't recheck it "we don't have time now, next available appointment is next week" , I agreed to that, no choice. Next week went again and they charged me 55$. They said "who told you 25$" ! That is f@cking dishonesty. Waisting my time and money! Don't give people the option to fix the car elsewhere if you don't like it. I will make sure to never go back there and tell as much people as I can.

The associate from sport department was not helpful or knowledgeable of the bike at all. He acted like a robotic with no any passion or willingness to help. When asked about the size of bike, he had no idea of frame size difference in according to rider’s height. Canadian tire really need to level up their training on their employees.

I had my safety inspection done at the Greenbank Road; I would strongly suggest to go somewhere else for service, it’s not the Canadian Tire that we use to have like 10 years ago. There in for the money for servicing cars. I have almost 40 years of experience in mechanic. Here is what happened; servicing mentioned that my rear brakes had rust and need it replacement for the safety. The brake pads were almost new and plenty of life left only one year old, both discs had the correct thickness but had 2 surface rust lines around the discs. IMO there still good and can pass safety with no issue, this was due that I didn’t drive the car much. So instead of having Canadian Tire Greenbank Road to replace the rear brakes and charge me a nice bill including brake fluid flush. I decided to replace it with brand new brakes pads and discs at the rear. I returned to get the car verified at Greenbank Road a second time and it could have been done visually to save time and cost. They didn't do a visual Inspection, they put the car on the hoists they took the time to measure the rear brake discs thickness with a caliper (they are brand new and you can see the rear discs and pads properly through the rims. So, they end up charging an extra $50 for inspecting the car. When I arrived home, I verify the torques of the wheel bolts at the rear to ensure they have correct amount of torque. The mechanic put the wheel bolts like at 200ft/lbs almost broke the studs to remove them and retorque them at 85ft/lbs correct torque. To conclude I’m very disappointed at the Canadian Tire at Greenbank Road, I will not return for servicing a car there, they have lost a client. Be aware.

My husband had an oil change done for our 2015 Rogue and raved about the great customer service he got. This garage will now be our go-to place for car maintenance and services. He requested for an appointment and got a confirmation call from Marvin to come in. It was most appreciated that they welcomed and accommodated us even with a short notice. The oil change was thoroughly done by Herbert plus he offered sensible tips to make sure we keep getting a smooth ride. He sincerely gives importance to engine performance, car safety and driver satisfaction. You can tell they’re not just about getting one service done so they can move on to the next. Many thanks to you, guys! Your exceptional customer service is most appreciated and we highly recommend your business!

Pretty good. Okay selection and stock. Could have more variety and price points. Tends to be pricier than elsewhere but quality is also a bit higher. Good selection - you can find most household and outdoor needs here.

On the website/App the item is in stock (4qty) with aisle number but no one has an idea where it is. Checked with the store reps, no one knows. (Also, not a very good experience with reps, not a helpful attitude) Someone referred me to the Customer Service. When I went there, initially they said it is in warehouse-receiving, and they will open it next working day, but then they tried searching, kept me waiting 20min. Still they didn't find it. If you are claiming on the website that an item is in stock with a aisle number, and cannot find it in store; not very professional. I also suspect that they pretty much did not find/put much effort to find, as they were busy or short staff or may be a other reason (race) I am unsure why; expecting more professionalism

I bring my car in for all repairs and maintenance. The service is superb and friendly. The Service Manager, Rick Lague, goes above and beyond for his customers. Fast, friendly and helpful - exactly what you want when you need your car serviced.

Had a terrible experience at this location this morning. Took the kids in to get them pick some toys and she picked a toy with a yellow tag right under below the item. We went to the casher NUMBER 4 around 11;30am this morning. The lady scan the item and told us it is not on sale, showed us her computer and said we should check the number on the item and also the number on the sale yellow tag. We did check the name on the toy and the name on the sale tag but she thinks all customers should find out the number on both and make sure they matches! This is unacceptable. We understand that many places have items and price unmatched on the shelf, but as a customer we don't deserve this attitude from an employee. She asked me to go and grab the sales tag, I did it because I want to prove that that's what we see at the first place, then she scanned the item again and said, well that's not the right sales tag. Manager was over and he was like " I don't know, that's the price and that's it." We end up left without purchasing anything. The common mistake of miss placed items and prices are fine to me, but how they handled it is not fine. Overall they thinks it's customer's fault to grab an item with a wrong price tag.

Curbside pick-up is incredibly slow. It takes too long to get through on the phone and then a long wait for the workers bring out the order. Other CT locations are far more efficient.

I went this location at Auto section for safety inspection of my car and this was a booked appointment. They told me it will take 2 hours but they actually took 4.15 hours. They are totally unprofessional and they don't care about customers. They need proper training. I will never go this location in future.

I love going here for all my seasonal and other home needs. The staff has always been super helpful and even recommend items you should buy which will save you a few bucks 😃 They have a great collection in the store too. Returns and exchanges have been smooth whenever I've had to make them.

Canadian Tire used to have great staff who were always happy to help and knew where everything was and how things worked. If you find a veteran staffer, you'll usually still get that great service, but nobody else seems to care and won't even try to help locate items that the phantom inventory promises you are in stock but are nowhere to be found.

All the staff were very polite and helpful. However, they ordered the wrong parts for a simple installation of new wheels. Twice! My minivan was in the garage for 4 days. Again, kudos to the staff for good customer service skills.

Looking for weekly flyer special sales. Some of the items not on the shelf or hard to look for it, but the staff willing to help me to check any more in the hardware house storage. Service is not bad but long long lines up to the cashier section, 🤔🤔🤔 maybe this is the time for Christmas🎄 shopping ..🎁🛍️🛒⁉️

One of my favourite stores, I've had great experiences with multiple products as well as auto repairs (better than my dealer tbh). All they need to get the extra star is a higher employee presence on the floor.

This branch is a little bit messy with some merchandise out of stock... What annoys me the most is that I have to go through the checkout to exit the store even if I'm not buying anything which is ridiculous

This weekend I went in to look at the bike selection for with my son. After browsing the selections we went to the sports counter and were greeted by Justin. The service we received completely took us by surprise. Justin took the time to explain what they had in stock and if not on display the techs can build it within the week. There were a few that weren't built and we didn't know what they looked like so he took the time to scan each one and explain their differences and showed us a similar style bike that was on display so we could compare. Unfortunately this type of service is unseen nowadays (usually made to feel that the customer is a burden) especially coming from a younger child. You would think he's been in the service industry for years. Keep up the great work Justin and Canadian Tire hold on to him.

Terrible customer service. When we there, there were only adolescent sales assistants. Not an adult in sight. Additionally, somebody had apparently left their children to play unsupervised in the sporting section. The adolescent staff did nothing to stop these children from using the store as their Friday evening playground. It was like Lord of the Flies at this store.

My car broke down in the middle of the street and then I called this place and someone said to bring in the car and they can look at it. I arranged a tow truck paid a lot and as i reached this place they said we did not receive a call. When I showed them the number they said its not there number. Then i called the same number infront of them and they picked. Then they said sorry we cant take the car for repair and the guy you might have talked is away right now. I had to pay more to the tow truck 175 dollars to get me to another repair shop. And the store manager did not even came out to talk to me.

This is so frustrating... Every time I go there , they don't have what I'm looking for ..it's out of stock . For example, the hockey accessoires isle is empty!! Come on it's hockey season!! And then you gonna cry because we use Amazon.. plus , please , please turn the music volume down , it's very unpleasant

Canadian Tire has gone through a lot of changes in the last 20 years (foregoing CT cash for points, selling groceries, not selling groceries), but the store was, is, and will remain one of my favorite hardware stores. Their sales alone are worth the stop. Virtually anything you want to pick up in the store could be on sale for 40-70% off in the next 6 months. There is always something on sale here and if you don't find what you want on sale, the regular prices are hard to beat. Car parts, hardware, seasonal gear, garden center, automotive garage, plumbing to kitchenware. --Highly recommend.

Nice store, they have touched screens available around to search items. The staff is friendly, easy to find, and very helpful. The only confusing part is the cash section. The location of the lineup is confusing, and if there is a long lineup, customers are either not paying attention or the cashier are not obvious enough when they are waiting for the next customer. A review of the cash registration process would be helpful at busy times. Otherwise, they opened up a new cash register quickly after the lineup had expanded. They are efficient. My cashier wasn't pleasant, but she wasn't mad. She was just very neutral. I also had to return an item, and the lady at the return counter was very nice and not judgy. I will be returning.

Absolute horrible place to work after the owner and management changed over. I’ve seen and heard management talk badly about customers they’ve had to deal with after they’ve left the store. If management doesn’t want to find something for a customer they just tell us to tell the customer we don’t have any in stock. The chair in the label office was taken out because they thought people were sitting too long and not working so now if you have to print labels or do any paper work, you’re bent over straining your back or have to go on your knees on the hard cold floor. You can’t talk to any coworkers, even while still getting your tasks complete, without getting in trouble or being talked to like a child. My 3 month review that was 9 months late was all negatives, basically said all I do all day is lean on my cash meanwhile I did all my listed duties and more during all my shifts. Specific cashiers were allowed to be on their phone/leave their cashes with the lights still on while ignoring customers in front of them making me call them to my cash so they could pay. The front end manager doesn’t care about people getting their breaks or providing coverage so people can go. The manager says things like “I guess these cashiers aren’t capable of calling for help when needed” when they don’t bother to schedule enough staff for the day and clearly see we are busy with customers and didn’t notice the line getting long. All in all, the owner and management are beyond unprofessional and belligerent to their employees and customers. I don’t recommend shopping here and I definitely don’t recommend working here.

I visited the service center today at 7:50 PM with a low tire pressure emergency, hoping for a quick fix. The receptionist I encountered was incredibly helpful and willing to assist personally. However, my experience took a disappointing turn when the receptionist asked the technician in the service center for a quick tire inflation service, which would have taken less than a minute. To my surprise, the technician declined, citing that they were closing in 10 minutes and didn't have time for such a minor task. This left me bewildered as I couldn't fathom how someone would refuse to help when a customer's safety could be compromised for the sake of just one extra minute of work. In my opinion, it's essential for service personnel to prioritize customer safety and satisfaction over minor inconveniences. The actions of the technician were concerning, and I hope the service center management addresses this issue promptly. On the bright side, the receptionist's exemplary service deserves recognition.

Absolute worst place to get anything done for auto. Everyone is nice, but I showed up at 8am to get an oil change and tires changed to winters - didn’t get out of there until 4pm. Have to mention I scheduled this appointment a month in advance. This isn’t the first time a simple job takes a dogs age. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
