This is one of the few places that carry my dog's food. Everyone is friendly

Great service, if they don’t have it they’ll order it in. They have a small section for small animals, but they always go out of their way to help me find dog toys or cat hides/beds for my rabbit🐇. I’ve yet to have a bad experience at this store. Kudos to the employees and management. Great service. (Very COVID safe as well, sanitizer inside and stickers on the ground outside for distancing)

What an amazing team! Excellent service, I would give more stars if it was possible. They have been so wonderful to make sure to provide the best products for your pets even the ones difficult to find in Ottawa. I had a couple special orders already and they were able to get them in a reasonable time frame.

Sweet little shop, full of great brands for conscious pet-owners. The staff is very helpful and easy to talk to. I find some things a little pricey but I guess on par with the more expensive brand foods.

Pretty good selection of pet product for dogs and cats. Ok for other pets. The main concern I have for this place, is short of the very last time I was in, customer service is not a forte of theirs. In a neighbourhood (and market) of big box pet stores, as a little guy, more focus should be placed on providing excellent customer service in order to build and maintain a loyal clientele.

The store itself isn’t very big but it’s super organized!! Staff is also very helpful and friendly. They have most of the brands I like for dogs and cats at this location, but if you’re looking for a specific flavour or brand, they may not carry it. For example, they carry the brand “PureBites” but they do not have the Salmon flavour which my dog loves.

Love this location of Global Pet Food. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable about all their products. Would definitely recommend shopping here!

Very well stocked for a smaller store and the lady there was very helpful. They also sell the best dog food you can get.

I used to love walking over with my dog but unfortunately the service has been hit or miss depending on how many staff are there. Only one person? Generally excellent service, but I've noticed that when the staff are in pairs, very little attention is given to the clients and I've even had a few experiences where I've walked in and felt altogether unwelcome because the conversation would stop long enough to glare in my direction then straight back to the talk without otherwise acknowledging me. Otherwise prices are the same as most other stores and there's plenty of selection!

They always have my dogs food in stock, and they are usually cheaper than Petsmart

Unprofessional staff. They leave handwritten notes on cars that are parked behind the business (typically used by Goodlife Fitness patrons) that are extremely passive agressive and signed off with a heart. They send license plates to the city for ticketing. I understand there is a loading dock, but deliveries after 5pm? Really?? Their boredom speaks volumes about how they run and care for this business. No professionalism with the older woman (manager) on staff in front of the younger 2. Once confronted, they were joyful in their doing. I have never gotten any parking notice from the commercial block’s landlord or bylaw in my 3 years of going to the Strandherd Goodlife location. As a dog owner, I wouldn’t trust what any of them have to say on what my dog should be eating. Seems like they have no other fun in their lives. Oh well, enjoy the review <3
