Really nice beach and the sand is really great. It also offers a nice sunset, can have a dip in the water and play around the beach. There is a lot of private properties behind the beach, so be mindful of them and respect the boundaries. There is a small parking behind the Point Dinning Lounge

Sand is clean, water seemed clear, beach was fairly quiet and was able to get a spot away from others and soak up some rays with the wife & the dog and enjoy the gorgeous Quebec hills. Beach is dog friendly but leash is a must and be respectful; garbage cans at the parking lot.

It's a beautiful beach. The tip is the attraction to see. Small parking space. Be sure not to trespass people's private property. Didn't see any public washrooms there. Don't forget to see the moon rise across the lake.

What a beautiful place...at any time if year. Always quiet...just don't mention on Google how nice it is...so it stays that way πŸ€—

It is an absolutely beautiful spot. But, please be aware of a couple things if you go to this beach, first of all it is not actually a public beach a lot of it is private property right to the water, especially walking towards the point. The only actual public space is right by the access points. Second there are really dangerous currents off the sand bar. You can be walking along in 6 inches of water then the bottom suddenly disappears. Several people have drowned here cause they slipped off the shallow sand bar and got caught in the current which will carry deep down into the middle of the river. Your body will not pop up for days. The next thing is the clam shells, do not walk in this sand without water shoes, there are broken clam shells that will slice your or your kids feet like razors.

Great beach nice clean water, dogs are allowed on the beach. I gave 1 star less because so many boaters park their boats along the shore, blocking view . We set up ourselves on the beach was great however 1 hr later boats start coming. What I found weird that some of the boaters dont even get out of their boats they stay on them entire day.! Aren't we go to the beach to enjoy it. Boat access to the beach should be regulated.

The sand is perfect :) entrance into the water is smooth and shallow (great for beginner swimmers). Clean beach, no complaints.

A kind of nice beach to swim but I definitely prefer Burnstown beach. There were two kiosk toilets and it was too dirty to enter.

Amazing beach! This is a call to all people using the beach to keep it clean. The point has an amazing and peaceful view.

Pros: - 30 minutes drive from Kanata - water is warm enough for kids - good and pretty clean sand - 10-20 meters not deep water good for kids - port-a-potty - free Cons: - no change room - lack of parking lots during weekends - seaweeds - not clear water

Really busy but an amazing beach. It was clean, the water was quite shallow all the way out so it was great for the kids. There wasn't many birds or debris except for rocks and some shells. Definitely a great day out.

I'm pretty sure I hadn't been to this place since I was a young kid and have to say that as far as Ottawa River beaches go this one is about the best. Ever so pleased to be able to bring my little dog with me and allow him to enjoy the the white sandy beach and cool water. We also enjoyed a nice lunch at The Point restaurant.

It was the first time of my dog in a beach and my family loved it. It’s a good place for dogs, kids and SUP. The parking is very limited.

This gem is not to be missed!! Clean, soft sand, shallow to deeper swimming so nice for both kids and adults. Beautiful sunsets and warm waters in the summer. There are also great amenities, kayak and SUP rentals, a locally owned bikini beach bar and even the Bay Yo Frozen Yogurt Boat makes visits with tasty treats.

A nice area not far from downtown Ottawa. You can go for a hike in the forest near by or have a beach day.

The beach is nice and clean. Lots of space and a few trees fore shade. Great for little kids as it is not very deep and you can wade out pretty far. Good little restaurant just off the beach. Not alot of parking so you may have to walk a bit, pack wisely!

I had no idea this place existed in the region even though I’ve lived here all my life and have had friends live in the area. What a sweet surprise! The beach is long and very much like you’ve entered a tropical paradise! Didn’t take any pictures, as I was too in the moment. Also brought my dog and we played in the water. Fun! Lots of families.

I work for a tree service and we frequent Constance Bay for business from time to time, and we make it a point to stop for a swim after the day is done any chance we have. Incredible place to spend the day

Difficult to park at The Point, but lots of street parking nearby. Beach can get busy, but easy to find a spot. Water is very shallow - great for small kids or throwing a ball/frisbee.

I was yelled at from a cottage owner ( lane street entitled egocentric & rude) who told me that the entire area was private property. I said I find it hard to believe the water I am quietly dipping my toes in on the shoreline is owned by your property line. I asked where the public access was and he stated did not exist. As he screamed at me with his wife barking behind him, many people walked by with chairs coolers music ect. Hundreds of cars parked in the area…. I left because he was unreasonably rude & as a female I felt he was threatening. I don’t know why the beach is listed as public if lane street cottages own the property? Better yet, why would you waste a sunny long weekend projecting your negative energy onto people minding their own business for a quick pit stop to let my dog soak her feet. People have no value for life anymore? Your time here is short, enjoy it, enjoy your health and don’t raise your blood pressure over nothing!

Love being able to bring our dogs with us to the beach. My kids did not much enjoy the swimming aspect as the bay is quite shallow but the beach and water is clean. Small parking just across from the Point Restaurent, I would recommend arriving by 9:30am if you want a parking spot. SUP rentals available $25/hr. Well worth the 40 min drive from Ottawa's east end :)

Came across this hidden gem while on a drive. Although it is small it’s very clean and has a beautiful landscape. I came by a few times during the summer and always left happy and relaxed.
