Mixed feelings about this place. The appetizers were great. My seafood pasta was not good at all, the sauce tasted weird. Dessert was delicious. The wine they recommended was not good and not what we explained we wanted. The young server was great but our main server looked like she hated us and her job. We waited for someone to check on us after we finished eating for 30 minutes and we had to call for them to bring us a check. Overall an okay experience but don’t think I’ll be back.

A delightful dining experience. Stopped in for dinner with my parents and boyfriend during the week. We were warmly welcomed and seated in a nice spacious booth. Our server was friendly and attentive. My mom ordered the lasagna since she had never a lasagna with sliced egg before. My dad had the veal parmigiana. I ordered the salmon, my boyfriend had the spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti and meatballs comes with one large meatball - he added a second since I wanted to try their meatballs. They were delicious and huge! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, service and atmosphere. My parents and boyfriend said the in house made pasta was nice and light. They also offer gluten free pasta and pizza options. I highly recommend checking this place out for a great authentic Italian meal.

First time visit to Napoli's cafe. Came with three friends. The server was fantastic, very friendly and wasn't phased by us (we were rather animated, as it was our first time catching up in a long while). The atmosphere was nice. Not too loud, and very comfortable. The food was good. My friend's split some mussels to start, that smelled delicious. We had manicotti, Marsala, veal Parm, and a seafood pasta. Everyone was happy with how their food tastes.My friend did request extra sauce for her pasta, as it was a bit light on it. Overall, wonderful meal and service. Will go back.

Can’t say enough about how friendly and amazing the service was. From our phone call to book, although we were a big group of 9 on a Friday night, calling an he before dinner they still tried their bets to accommodate us! Welcomed us in young arrival while complementing my little one’s outfit.. they went above and beyond to accommodate my kids and their picky needs.. really amazing! Food was great, everything we ate was good but honestly all we went back with was the super friendly and awesome service!

Came here for a celebratory dinner and was not disappointed. The arancini balls were super tasty and our pasta dishes came loaded! Service was great and staff were friendly and helpful (she helped us with suggestions because we just couldn’t decide!).

Dinner with four friends. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. Fried zucchini appetizer was amazing! Not from frozen food section! Made fresh and crispy. Our mains were also amazing...fresh sauces, perfect pasta, meat and seafood. Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend.

The food and ambience both are really good.We tried lasagna, Penne pollo and kids pasta with meatball and everything was delicious. -1 star only for the lack of kids menu as kids meal is 20$ and seems to be smaller portion of regular meal with no drinks or desserts included. But then, it seems a place for couples and adults to enjoy so maybe we were out of place :) You should definitely give it a try for what it's worth.

We ordered a take out meal from Napoli’s . We were very pleased with the meals. We each had a salad, and a pasta dish. The Mediterranean salad was chock full of artichokes, olives, peppers and Feta. The best we have had. The Caesar salad was crisp, with an excellent citrusy garlic dressing. Both pasta dishes were equally excellent. And portions were extremely generous. Napoli’s just became our favourite Italian restaurant. We are looking forward to trying more items from their extensive menu.

Fantastic food. My favourite fine dinning Italian restaurant in Ottawa. Great atmosphere and the owners take pride in providing the best food and customer service. I have never been disappointed and have even booked for my office Christmas dinner a number of times.

Loved this place! Felt right at home, and so welcomed by authentic hospitality. The food was amazing with great flavours! The patio is beautiful, and well taken care of, makes you feel like you’re really out somewhere special. We will be back.

An evening at Napoli's is a perfect reset for our family. We love the food and the service is personal and professional. Sometimes you don't even want to pick something off the menu and Nicole makes the perfect selection for you; because everything is so good.

I liked the dining room and furniture. Service was polite and attentive. Atmosphere was pleasant. Parking was ample and convenient. We ordered pizza and were both disappointed with the food. Particularly the crust was not what we were hoping for. We also ordered mussels, which were fine, although we'd prefer an alternative to the cream sauce, which we found a bit too heavy. The red house wine seemed ok for the price.

The delicious food and outstanding service that is the norm here make this one of my favorite places to eat in all of Ottawa. This is fine dining at a reasonable price and if it were downtown you'd have to wait weeks for a reservation. I couldn't recommend it more.

Awesome experience dining in! Food was awesome and the service was very good! Our server was very good with keeping the flow of dinner at a great pace! Kept us topped up but wasn’t all over us! Food was delicious hats off to the chef! Restaurant was very clean and tidy and we were greeted when we walked in! Good job!

It was are first time at this place, and we were unsure of what to expect, what should we eat. We normal go to the Milestones or the Keg for our wedding anniversaries, but this year we wanted to try something different. We say some reviews of the restaurant, and they we very positive, so we gave it try. We had Nicole as our waitress. She is very knowledgable and helpful. She recommend the Gamberi Di Amaretto as an appetizer. “It was awesome!” I had the Bistecca and my wife had the Pollo Pancette. Both main courses was great. I don't give many five stars, however this lovely family owned, operated business was worth five. Great friendly service, fantastic food, really good. Drinks, appetizers and mains were all delicious, nicely plated.

A first class dining experience - Our dinner party of 10 each had a different meal, everyone was pleased with their dish. A complimentary appetizer was very appreciated by the group. Alicia (our server) was excellent and the kitchen was very accommodating to the 10 year old diner within our party. My only "criticism" would be the credit card requirement to hold our reservation; however, I can only imagine what a 10 person no-show or last minute cancellation would have on operations so I guess it's understandable.

This is an incredible spot! The service was delightful, warm, and friendly. Gave us time to chat and catch up while getting us set up with wine etc. The food was impeccable. Every bite, présentation, portions, flavours and freshness. Have not had many meals in Ottawa that can surpass this dining experience. Well Done Napoli's. You outshine other establishments and deserve to be recognized for creating a wonderful atmosphere for cozy dining. We will be back to enjoy your terrace too!!! Thank you!!

Bruschetta and Caesar salad were delicious, manicotti was amazing, crème brûlée left something to be desired though as the crust was not properly done. The cold coffee beverage was very nice and so was the house wine but would have preferred a cocktail ice cube in my Negroni to the small hollow ice especially in the summer on a patio as it melts extremely fast. Service was a bit slow especially considering it wasn’t busy but overall was a nice experience.

Bassel and the staff are first class, by far our favorite restaurant, always so welcoming! Nicole's service is excellent, always very friendly and genuinely wants to ensure you are well taken care of! The meals are amazing, portion sizes are very generous with fresh ingredients. We recommend Napoli's to our friends and family all the time and look forward to each visit!

My husband and I have enjoyed takeout for the last year or so, but last night we made a reso and dined in. We already knew how good the food was, but we had such an exceptional experience from door to table. Our server made excellent recommendations, our food was delicious, and it was just SO nice to be back out and dining in a restaurant again. Napoli's is our spot for family celebrations and date nights and we couldn't be more lucky to have such a great restaurant in our community.

Place is always busy but it beats me as to why. I took my mother there a few years ago, she wasn't having a good day, she was tired, and she was hungry. We shared a relatively large plate of pasta with mussels and shrimp. The sauce was bland, watery, and not a deep red. It did not taste pleasant and the proteins seemed off. We found a hair in the dish a few bites in, then saw the hairy "chef" coming out the kitchen scratching his hairy arms. We called the waitress, told her, paid although we did expect something to be done other than a verbal sorry, then left. I do not recommend this place if you want to take someone you care about out for food. I was astounded. The photos, the reviews, but then the experience I got? Sorry to say, but this must mean this place has some taste bud-less and blind regular customers keeping it open

Went to this place with my parents and uncle and aunt, food is so good. Start with appetizer, we had caramari and ARANCINI a type of risotto ball stuffed with mushrooms and cheese (don't know what's in the filling) but everything is blended perfectly. The bread is moisture and soft with hard crisp, served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar 😋. I also ordered the salad with shrimp. I love the Caramari and the salad, the seafood is springy and so good, you could taste it when you give a first bite to them. For the soup, last night they had butternut squash mixed onion soup (ah I may not remember the exact words, sorry) I tried one spoon of it and mamma mia, how could a soup be so creamy and light at the same time! However my father said it's soo good at the first but a bit salty for him after he had a half of the soup. I gonna try it on my own if they offer it and if I have a chance to go back. For the main, we had lasagna, seafood linguine with cream source, tortellini, bucatini, and veal picata. 10/10 for the lasagna, the tomatoes sauce is so tasty and light, I have no idea how they made the sauce so flavorful and light at the same time with the mozzarella 😋 My aunt had the seafood with linguine is too good, she said the shrimp and the mussels portion in the dish is very generous. My father had bucatini with the lobster bisque, the bisque is so rich and creamy, but not greasy at all. When taste the bisque you could feel the ingredients mixed so well, a feast on your tongue! He said he wish to become younger so he could eat them all (yes the portion is huge! The plate is very big) Usually my mother is not a big fan of Tortellini, but the dish last night made her turned her mind. Tortellini with white cream sauce is phoneme. Ah I tried a few and oh my, an impeccable perfection 🥰, definitely recommend it. I had veal picata and it's so tender! With the savory sauce made with lemon and cream, the veal is definitely worth a full 🌟! We also ordered the pizza param, I like it very much! But I was too full to have one more slice, and we took the pizza home. Overall we were very satisfied with the experience, the service made you feel home. They were very patient and made our night. On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, 60 members and guests of the Opimian Wine Club gathered to celebrate Opimian’s 50th Anniversary by enjoying a wine tasting and dinner together. It was a night to remember! Napoli’s Cafe took care of the details making hosting of the event very easy. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and they even had a microphone for Joao Barrote, from Opimian, to use to speak about the wines. Napoli’s Cafe created and served an exquisite 5 course meal that complimented the fine wines. The service was timely and spectacular. Bassel (owner/dad), Nicole (daughter), Elena (daughter) along with their staff served the plates of deliciously prepared food and poured the fantastic wines while Milad (Bassel’s brother) was in the kitchen with his assistants cooking the fine meal. Everyone was served their wine and accompanying courses quickly and efficiently and all were able to enjoy the meal together while Joao spoke about the wine paired with the food. A monumental effort on their part resulted in perfection! Thank you Napoli’s Cafe for a perfect evening of 60 Opimian members and guests!
