Had been waiting years to visit Royals! It did not disappoint! The Just Dirty Wrap was absolutely fantastic and so was the service and atmosphere! Definitely recommend for breakfast, can't wait to go back and try something off the lunch menu!

Amaaaazing food! First time customer and will definitely be back! Coming from an hour away but 10000% worth it. I was shocked at how amazing everything was! Small diners are the best and hard to find living in the city. The staff were also super friendly and doing great even though it was super busy and the place was completely packed. The wait was longer for sure but worth the wait and expected as it seems to be the spot to be. Thanks for having us, we will be back soon! :)

My all time favorite restaurant! Great staff, Great food= no brainer. Derrick, Nick & team are clearly passionate about what they do and it translates on to every plate. The quality and consistency is unrivaled. Bring back the prime rib would be my only humble request to note to the amazing owners!

Amazing food and service!! I would definitely recommend them. One thing I have to say.. is why does the sign say "Dinning lounge" instead off dining. Makes me chuckle when i drive by.

The breakfast was really good. The servers were very nice too. But you shouldn't have to wait over 45 minutes to be served your food. I probably would not go back on a Saturday morning, I really don't have time to spend an hour and half on breakfast.

Definitely worth stopping by! Food was delicious - Best eggs benny I've had in a while and their home fries are the perfect mix of crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Service was also excellent. They are very attentive and nice.

A-mazing!! We are always on the hunt for a great brunch/breakfast spot and this was by far the best breakfast meal we've had. Amazing sourdough toast, best scrambled eggs, delicious farmers sausage and incredible harsh brown potatoes. The Texan meal came with beans and brisket(!), all for a super reasonable price. Wonderful service and lovely atmosphere. We will be back!! Thank you!

For a greasy spoon breakfast place, they hit all the marks and also have healthy choices on the menu. This place is the heart of Richmond.

We just had an event with the food prepared by the team at Royals. Everything was excellent and delicious. I can't thank them enough for their great food and service. FANTASTIC.

Our family of 10 decided to visit this restaurant for Sunday brunch and are we glad we did. The food quality, preperation and presentation were superb. All our orders came out at the same time, no waiting for anyone. The staff were very accommodating, polite, effient and professional. We will be back !

This place is such a great hidden gem! We live in Beckwith and decided to go for brunch here as it had just reopened. The place was squeaky clean, very cute, modern and the staff were hard working with smiles on their faces. For three people the meals and drinks came to $89 and portions were of good size. I highly recommend stopping here if you have the chance! Also they have great coffee! In the warmer months there is also an outdoor patio.

Recently attended an event catered by Royals. Was very impressed with the level and quality of service and product. Specifically, Amanda was very accommodating of plant-based dietary restrictions and went out her way to make sure plant-based options were available.

So impressed with the delicious Eggs Florentine, appetizing plate presentation and great service. Definitely worth the drive from Ottawa. I can see how it would be packed on weekends, will definitely go again on a weekday morning.

From the outside, looks like a greasy diner. Inside, super cute, and the food is not at all what we were expecting. Elevated menu and the food was phenomenal!! Great variety and choices. Your regular breakfast fare and modern choices, too. Great lunch options and fun drink specials. Prices are super reasonable for the amount of food you get. Everything is super fresh! Can't wait to go back again!

First time back in 4 years. Food was good. Only complaint is the sausages, they are more like jumbo hot dogs. Bring back the old sausages!

Awesome family feel with a good selection of local beer. The food is superior quality to anything in a 20km radius. They have a feature flatbread and blackboard specials. Friday has a prime rib feature that I haven't tried yet. Our usual server (we've now been coming almost weekly for a few months now) has been pleasant and efficient. They're really accommodating to families with kids, and have a children's menu as well. They fill up fast for dinner on the weekends, accept reservations and have a really popular weekend brunch.

I've stopped here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at different times. Breakfast fare has always been good, and the lunch sandwiches were fresh, and tasty. Food has always been good overall. It can get pretty crowded in here at times, and it is family friendly with a nice mix of patrons. If there's any area that we've been unhappy about it is with service. We've had good experiences with our servers, but we've also stopped in for supper a few times where we've found the service to be so slow that we were almost ready to leave since it was taking exceptionally long to get food to the table, or attention from our waitress.

Excellent breakfast and great value. I usually come on weekdays for breakfast since the place is packed on weekends. Yes, there can be line-ups. What does that tell you? Its that good.

We absolutely loved their breakfast and for the price, it could not beaten. Their home fries are super crispy and the onions are an amazing touch. Today however, we experienced a bit slower service. It was to be expected as we had arrived just after the lunch rush. Our food came out about 45min after we ordered, however we did not mention anything about it. Food was great as always, so that wasn't a concern at all. What absolutely blew my mind. After we asked for the cheque, our server apologized and gave us a discount on our meal. We never brought forward the wait time nor did we request anything. We felt this was an amazing gesture, and I went ahead and gave them what I would consider an "above average" percentage tip. After paying, we realized the bill was 40% off! I've never seen a good-gesture discount like that before and I felt bad after realizing that the percentage tip should have been a lot more. Thank you again for owning up to a minor inconvenience and going above and beyond. We will be back!
