Stayed for two nights Oct 2023. I’m not one to leave reviews but I highly recommend! Clean,new,modern and comfortable. Well appointed with a small pool and a very nice well equipped gym. Hot and diverse breakfast in a bright and well lit room. Decent coffee. Friendly staff. Located an easy walk to a plaza with an LCBO, Marshall’s, Costco, thrift store, nail salon etc.

For the second time have I stayed in this hotel. The only problem is the dark-skin front desk gentleman. 1. No greeting at all, just coldly asked"your ID please". This guy was not watching you in your eye for conversation, he was staring at his guests. 2. Of course, no greeting for being a diamond member 3. Quite rude guy, he is not friendly at all, cold face all the time, not even the smallest smile. Today, he even put his finger into his mouth to clean his teeth while talking with me, then he used his fingers to touch and handle my room key(just imagine how terrible this is). 4. No offer for waters which all other hilton or hampton hotels do. Both time, I had to ask"can I have two bottles of water", then I had to go to the cabinet to take the water by myself, he did not even bother to take the water for me. All other hotel front desks offer the water before I have to ask. Only this hotel or maybe Only this guy doesn't even ask, I am sure that I can't get the water if I am new to Hampton inn. I don't think all guests know that they could get complimentary water if they stay in hilton or hampton inn. 5, Did not tell where the elevator is. when I complained, he said he told me. But I knew he did not. I won't come back to this hotel for the 3rd time for sure.

This was our 1st stay here and it was lovely. It appeared new to us so it was a surprise to learn that it was about 3 years old. It was very clean and the beds were definitely comfortable. The shower only stall was fine for us and nice amd bright. The breakfast included gluten free items, bonus! Staff were great. Only issue we had and maybe it's just us but the sliding bathroom door didn't have a way to lock it. This doesn't work for us as we travel with a special needs child and we would like this feature. Beautiful place 💖

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa West for the first three nights of my move to Ottawa with my family, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and comfortable, providing us with a much-needed respite after a long journey. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, always going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including both hot and cold options, and everything was fresh and flavourful. The location of the Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa West was perfect for my needs, as it is situated close to the neighbourhood I plan to move into. This made it very convenient for me to get a sense of the area and explore it further. Additionally, there were plenty of amenities and services nearby, including restaurants and shops, which made settling into the new neighbourhood much easier. The rooms are very clean, the hotel has a nice pool and a good gym, the breakfast is offered for free and it is decent, you can select from a list of eggs and waffles and the staff will make for you. The staff are friendly and welcoming, overall it os a good value for money.

During my stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa West, I found the service to be absolutely incredible, any questions or concerns were answered with utmost respect and quality. Any request for extra needs in my room such as towels or coffee were granted without a fuss. The complementary breakfast was glorious, a large range from muffins to bacon to omelettes to waffles with drinks aswell, there is a good assortment to fit almost anyones needs! The pool and fitness centre provided for all hotel guests is awesome, me myself am learning how to swim and I found it to be amazing to have the pool open from 6am to 10pm allowing myself to complete my travels and come back giving myself time to swim. I personally enjoyed using the fitness centre whenever I felt up to working out during my stay. Overall my stay came with amazing complementary services and I would be willing to come back anytime!

We had a great stay as a family of five. Internet was great, the room size was wonderful. We would like to recognize the great staff who all were friendly and kind to us for the five days we were there. The breakfast staff particularly made us feel welcomed daily and made excellent food.

Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa helped make our stay a memorable one!! The front desk staff were friendly, courteous and quite helpful!! They were always ready to answer our questions and offer suggestions when needed!! The rooms were quite clean and fresh with modern decor. The suite was spacious and well equipped with supplies. The pool and equipment rooms were a hit with the children and the adults!! We had such a wonderful time that we extended our stay! You will not be disappointed if you chose Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa for your next stay!! I would definetly recommend this Inn!!

We travel back and forth to Nunavut at least 4 times a year, and this has become our go-to place to stay! Although it is a slight drive from the airport, it's totally worth it for us. The location is great - it's in a quiet neighbourhood, with lots of trees and space around it. It's not too busy, but it's close to all sorts of amenities, including shops and restaurants. There are also some nice walkable trails nearby, which are great for walking the dog! We also love that it's pet friendly! The pet rates are very affordable, compared to other hotels we looked into. We travel with a large dog and a cat or two each time, and they are always welcomed! In terms of the facilities themselves, the rooms are beautiful. There is a nice comfortable seating area attached to the lobby, which is great for eating, working, and hanging out. The complimentary breakfast has a great amount of hot and cold options, and is available for a good amount of time in the morning, accommodating early risers and sleeper-inners alike! The pool is also a nice touch! Lastly, the service is excellent! The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. There are regular staff members who recognize us each time we come back. We always look forward to seeing them! :)

Our stay was fantastic - the rooms were clean, modern and perfectly organized for all of our needs. The beds were the best I have ever experienced. All the small details were checked. The breakfast was pretty good, many options and fully stocked. The pool and pool area was clean with modern, comfortable seating. Overall a great stay.

Hotel was very new and clean! Staff was extremely polite and the check-in and check-out process was quite fast! Free breakfast is always a bonus! Only reason I did not give a full 5 stars is that the walls seem to be quite thin, I heard everything in the neighbouring rooms. Not sure if it’s the walls or if people were just being especially loud.

loved this hotel. Kind, positive and energized staff. No one seemed complacent and frustrated with their job. It was so refreshing to meet people who treated guests with joy and respect. Very clean amenities and great hotel breakfast.

I forgot to take a picture of the room but I took one for the hallway on our way to check out lol. Room are okay the breakfast was really bad. Potato look and taste like it’s been a week. The egg was super super cold 🥶 and the chocolate muffin pretty old. It’s a new hotel they could do better service than this.

We had the two queen beds + sofa bed room, which was very spacious! Thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of this place. It may also be because this Hampton Inn is relatively new, but we enjoyed staying here. The breakfast was also pretty decent! The one downside was that there was some kind of kids soccer group and they were all over the place, budding people in lines for the elevators and just loud and scattered throughout the breakfast area. We had to eat in our room because of that, but it was fine.

Location was easy to navigate. Excellent customer service well mannered and polite staff. Great breakfast. Hotel rooms so far the best for me , spacious and comfortable extremely clean with all Amenities Available. Value for money %100.will definitely revisit same location again.

Really good stay. I had a spacious king suite that was very comfortable. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that is east facing. My room faced HWY 416 and it was very noisy at night. Other than that, no issues.....

Best of his kind, that's for sure!! We went there with our 2 cats, as we lost power at home. And we had to go to that type of pet friendly hotel a lot since we had to move around Canada. And this hotel's my top one! Clean room, smell good when you get in. The buffet breakfast is the best we had to try... really! Many choices as well. Good location, a lot of restaurants around. Movie theater close. Employees are polite and give good services. We were able to work with our laptop in our room as we were able to pay for faster Wi-Fi. I highly recommend it. There's a gym and pool, but we didn't have what's needed to go.

Didn't enjoy my stay. The person working the front desk, name starting with E, was very rude. We were told on the phone we would be given a rate for a booking, as we were attending for an event. When we arrived we weren't given the correct room. Upon realizing the error we went to the front desk, where E and the assosicate incharge of house keeping discused infront of us about how there are no bath tubs with King beds. However, we were suppose to be given an accessibility room and wasn't until argued for. Very low staffing. Long lines at check in. Says hotel is fully booked but only 1 staff working the front, half the time not there. Only friendly encounter was checking out with E again, probably happy he can go back to not doing his job. Only cleaning rooms every second day. Arguments heard by other people displeased. TV channels not working, going to E who replies "yeah some don't work" but no discount to cost. Don't waste your time. Find somewhere else.

Wonderful Accommodations for a family weekend getaway with Indoor Pool and Breakfast. We walked the local nature trail and played at the Cute Park. We read some books and had some much needed coffee. Thank You for the reset ❤️

Stayed at the hotel for a soccer tournament . From check-in to check-out,the service was outstanding. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. We hope to stay here again and have recommended this hotel to friends and family. Thank you for making our stay fantastic.

Guests Limited Laundromat (1 washer/1 dryer) Compliment & complaint - Why are all the Amazing Helpful Employees such as Victoria or Gary wearing Name TAGS. Yet the Front Reception/Registration Employees are Not Wearing any Name Tags? where THEY'RE very significant in their roles to make visitors feel welcome and safe...with employees that are showing themselves as strangers with No Names or proof that they are employees? Key Employees in your Establishment without Name Tags are NOT Safe Creditable Staff of your Establishment - Stranger Danger as We the Public don't know any different. Easy Fix for Safety, Consistency & Follow-up Customer Service. We can't wait to come back to Visit Again, knowing who we're checking in with next time 🤗

Great room and location. Rooms are always clean. Beds are high, toilets are low so people with minor mobility issues may be affected. I never understand why toilet paper holders have to be installed so low.

Our time at The Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa West was so wonderful and felt totally luxurious!! Our room was spotless, the king bed seemed so much bigger than ours at home and the shower with the barn doors was amazing. The fridge and microwave in the room were perfect as we could bring take out back with us so that we could spend as much time as possible in it. We loved every minute of it and have already booked our next stay!

Great room. Nice clean hotel. Breakfast served from up to 10am which was great for late risers. Would stay there again. Enjoyed our stay.

I'm here with my ma and 2 sisters. We all agree the beds are excellent for comfort, the hotel is clean and everyone is very friendly. Even the breakfast (included) is clean, fresh and very good. Recommend for sure.

I was on a mini vacation with my husband with a bit of work to do on the side. Sounds odd but I was very pleased to find that there were electrical outlets EVERYWHERE since I was carrying quite a bit of equipment for work. I also liked that we could just check-in using the Honors app and use the phone as our key. Our room was absolutely spotless - Felt like they really took the sanitary measures seriously. Breakfast was nice too. Was a great experience and would definitely return.

very nice new premises, nice rooms & beds. But and a big but here...b-fast area during labor day week end was an absolute invite for Covid 19 contamination. Area was fully packed with guests I would say around 50 wearing no masks with the exception of the people waiting to be served. No one from management there to help organize or to open extra meeting rooms nearby to allow distance being kept. Honestly don't think I'll taka my family back there, unless the management begin to put the customer first. Was like giving a Ferrari to someone that doesn't know how to drive.

Great stay, pool was open, as was gym. Breakfast provided which we ate in our room after collecting. Parking was strange I would have like to park near my room but all spaces were "compact" so had to park on the other side of the building. Very clean rooms and hotel. Would love to stay again.

I unexpectedly needed to come to Ottawa for a week due to my mum's death. Hampton Inn staff went out of their way to care for me during a stressful time. They are wonderful. The room was exactly what I needed as an attractive, highly functional home away from home. Amazing bed, desk, sofa, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and safe. The included breakfast was satisfying, particularly the egg and cheese on toasted English muffin. Highly recommended.

The pet-friendly reception is not just limited to animals. I felt welcome and was treated like a guest, not an interloper. The rating is based on what Amazon migh call a frictionless experience. There was nothing that did not work as it was supposed to. Smoothly and pleasantly.

The hotel was very clean, tidy and overall just amazing! The only thing that wasn't incredible was that for 1 out of 2 of the days tat we stayed there, the pool wasn't open and that was disappointing. The breakfast was great the first day and my family quite enjoyed the croissants that were there, unfortunately there were not there on the second day.

Overall, hotel does it's function. The rooms are a bit odd (barn door bathroom door - so doesn't fully close and you can hear the person using the toilet), no bathroom fan for when you shower, the shower is nice but the sliding doors and on/off handles are oddly located. All minor complaints but doesn't impact my stay all that much. We've stayed here a few times and enjoyed our stay each time. Rooms are clean, breakfast is decent and typical hotel breaky, pool is clean. Staff are friendly and helpful if you need any toiletries. Check-in and out was quick.

Rooms are well appointed & clean. Service was excellent. The immediate (walkable area) around the hotel is still developing. Many stores & food options within a few minutes drive. This seems to be a known dog friendly location (wasn't an issue for us, just a worthwhile fyi for other travelers).

The hotel is clean and fresh with a perfectly satisfactory breakfast. Overall, good value for the price. But make sure you don’t get Room 209 like we did, or the ones around it. The heat/ac unit is right outside the window and thumps away all night and day. ☹️

One of the best hotels in the area. Very clean. Staff are very helpful and kind. I was taken back how well equipped the gym is. A lot of thought went into it unlike many other hotel gyms which is generally just a room with a bunch of weights and old cardio equipment crammed into a former storage room. The pool was also very nice—I didn’t try it—but there always appeared to be people swimming and enjoying themselves. I would certainly come back to this hotel again.

Fantastic stay for us. The staff were courteous, specifically Annie, who went out of her way to accommodate us and provide with rooms on short notice on an early check-in. The rooms were clean spacious and comfortable. The salt water pool was very nice.

Great location near 416 highway with suoer clean rooms and pets are allowed! We live nearby but had to leave the house for an evening and decided to stay here and it was a fantastic decision! Great rooms and reasonable prices. The hotel is only about a year old so practically brand new!

We were there for an event and the staff was amazingly helpful through the whole process! Manager Cynthia responded to emails and questions quickly and was super pleasant. On the day of the event Owen was super helpful finding us some things/helping us with some questions! Would definitely recommend them for events and I’m sure staying with them would be wonderful! The hotel is clean, modern and has everything you’d need.

Visited a family member here. It's a nice hotel. But there is no signage by the road to indicate where to turn in. Also, we were at the pool when another guest accidentally pushed the emergency button thinking it was the button to open the door. Just a few minutes later we saw the fire department arrive because some people were stuck in the elevator. The elevator was stuck between floors, which apparently they are not designed to do. They are supposed to go to the nearest floor and open the doors to let people out, if there is a problem. I really wonder if the button that was pushed tripped a breaker that included the elevator. Anyway, the management should investigate the elevator malfunction further to ensure it does not happen to anyone else.

Absolutely clean and comfortable. I feel it like 4 stars hotel. The facility is 2 years old. Breakfast is generous and absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend!

Amazing spot. I did not personally chose this hotel. It was in chosen by my daughter's team manager and what an amazing choice. From installing the app on the phone to the first time we entered the hotel, everything went smoothly. The entire process is seamless. No need to even get a room key anymore if you don't want to. Everything is done through the app. I think the best compliment I can give them is that, even though you see them from time to time going about their business, they just stay away from what you are doing. Everything just works. Kudos to the exercise room also! Extremely well equipped for a place this size. Impressive.

Very nice hotel! Nice room! I really recommend this hotel! Only down side the breakfast is served until 10 AM, but at 9:58 they close the doors, no matter if you are still inside the breakfast room or not! So better run!!! Ended up being a joke!!!

Our bed sheets had blood on it, as well as our chair!! We asked for towels and we never got them, we asked for our room to bed cleaned as the cleaners were outside in the hall way and it never happened so we had to go down to the front desk when we came back later that day and they finally sent someone up. The breakfast buffet ran from 6am till 10 am and the omelettes were cold and they were closing doors at 945am while people were still down trying to eat. There was no coffee at 630 am on the Sunday it was very dissapointing stay!

The 2 night stay at your hotel was just OK. I stay at the Hampton all the time in the maritime province, mostly because of the breakfast and the hospitality from the hotel. The breakfast was always hot and decent for a contenial breakfast. The breakfast at this location was awful. Cold, same thing for 2 days. The muffins were left in the container overnight and were little hard pucks. The "Protine pork sausages" ...well let say not fit to eat. We spent 3 days in the hotel while we attended a sports game on Tuesday evening. During these stay, we played cards in the breakfast area, watched sports games on the TV, and enjoyed the felicity. On our last day we found out our flight was delayed for 2 hours, again more time spent at the hotel. After breakfast we played cards at our table. There were 6-8 guys and being quiet. Age of the guys were from 25 to a grandfather of 75, and we were not there to cause any trouble. There were 5 other people in the area at this time. I'm assuming it was the on-site manager who came over and asked us to stop playing cards. He said it's his dining room and we shouldn't be playing cards. Without any backlash, we stopped and carried on with our day. For the next 1½ hours, we sat in the same exact seats in that same location and talked and watched the TV. Apparently, we could stay in the seats, but we couldn't past our time playing cards. There was a couple that were in the same area that said to us they weren't bothered by it and thought it was rather odd. We are coming up from NS each year, but next time, we will probably choose another hotel.
