Great place for breakfast or lunch. Very cozy and the lady knows what she is doing. We had a typical Dutch Broodje half om which was mega delicious!!! Everything is freshly made and great value for money. Totally recommended!

Absolutely delicious broodjes (crispy bread and fresh ingredients), very fast and polite service, and there's even a bit of seating space if you want to enjoy your food on the spot rather than takeaway.

The most delicious sandwiches I've ever tried! If you want to try an authentic Dutch breakfast, then only in Kato🥰 The owner of the cafe has 5 sons, as they grew up, she decided that she needed to continue cooking for someone and opened this small cafe. Everyone in Haarlem knows him. Highly recommend! Very soulful and amazingly tasty. I tried the sandwich with liver and ham, similar to Spanish jamon, twice. And the most popular sandwich with meat balls! :))) and excellent coffee.

The ball sandwich is definitely not recommended, it was a white ball with a coarsely cut meatball without sauce. For €5.30 you would be better off going to the nearby fish stall.

We ate delicious sandwiches, especially the ball sandwich with peanut sauce was great and the young lady who helped us was very friendly.
