Sad that there was no tonkotsu, but both of our ramen were excellent! If you are used to eat spicy food, their view of the "spicy" is supposed to be medium spicy, but it was more mild then medium. It was still excellent 👌🏻 10/10 would recommend

First timer at Hinata, ordered the today’s special; ginger shoyu ramen. it was perfect! the broth was light, warm from the ginger. pork was flavourful, easy to chew. pro tip; would ask for hotter broth, especially in the winter. the restaurant ambiance is friendly and intimate. peculiar taste of music but entertaining. great place for a heart warming food and to have a conversation. we arrived at 7.30, which is perfect - there was no line. a crowd followed later in the evening though.

2.5 stars for the ramen; 4 stars for the rest. Broth - bland and no power inside for the karamiso. pork both (recommended special), only tasted Soysauce inside, felt also really bland. That essentially ruined everything. Rice - surprising that you can complain about this but the bowl of rice i ordered was too dry. felt like rice from yesterday. Karaage - great! juicy, crispy & well seasoned. recommend Takoyaki - crispy and flavorful, top! Service felt uninterested generally - rather doing the bare minimum.

So delicious Ramen! Also tried the 'Veg Kara Age' (see photo) and it was so good too! Definitely will come back!

Nice service very friendly people, I really enjoyed shoyu ramen here. The fried chicken was so juicy and flavourful ♥️ Only thing is that the broth was a bit too salty, but definetely one of the good place to get yummy ramen.

Pros: - Chill vibe Cons: - Way too much soy sauce in the broth (tastes like soy sauce mixed with hot water) - the pork chashu is very sad and soggy, falls apart in the broth Bottom line: -unauthentic ramen place

Disappointed. The karaage needs to be double fried for better crunchiness. It was simply too soft. Every bite was like a marshmallow. The mayonnaise used was also not right; please swap it out with proper kewpie mayo. The ramen I ordered was absolutely overshadowed by the large amount of (raw?) onions floating in the broth. Just look at the picture. The meat was also flavorless; was it marinated long enough? The noodles were sub-par at best. The broth…was even less flavorful than instant noodles. Let’s stop there. The only good part of my meal was the properly marinated egg. That was very nicely done and not overcooked.

Vegan ramen that is top of the line. Two different broths to choose from. Soy based and miso based, nice and creamy. Full of vegetables. Great extra veggie toppings to add. Amazing mix of flavors. Vegan gyoza as well. Good wine and great alcohol free beer IPA from Brothers in Law. They expanded their terrace to the middle area of the street so you’re sitting nice and sunny as well if you want. Oh, and super friendly people working there. This place has it all. Love coming back here.

If you feel like having a noodle soup in Amsterdam, this is the place to go! 📍 The feast started of with a vegan Takoyaki and seaweed salad. Let me tell you these were super ooey gooey takoyaki balls with amazing sauces. The star of the night was the Vegetarian Karamiso Ramen 🍜 The broth was rich, but not too overwhelming, and the noodles had a perfect springy texture, just like you’d expect of Japanese ramen. They also have donburi (rice dishes) 🍚 and Japanese curry 🍛 if you feel like having Japanese but no noodles. I am definitely coming back to try those out! All in all, a wonderful experience with fast and friendly service 🤩

My favourite Ramen spot in Amsterdam. I always come back for their Spicy Miso Ramen it’s so good I literally slurp it up every time. Chicken Tonkatsu is also super nice. Start with Dumplings & Some friend chicken and then pick your Main. Nice staff and nice place to be seated outside

Definitely a great Ramen. One of the best ramen I had in the Netherlands. Also amazing takoyaki. I really recommend to try it. Is also in jordaan, so pretty central and easy to reach.

The good was super nice! The staff, not so friendly. They were talking behind guests and that’s not okay with me. Wouldn’t go there again because of the staff.

Great Ramen 🍜 and the other dishes were delicious too. We had the vegan ramen and pork ramen. Recommended!

The ramen was average. The broth wasn’t very flavorful and there wasn’t that much depth or complexity to the dish. Wouldn’t recommend but wasn’t a regrettable experience.

Nice and smiling welcome, rich menu that makes you want to taste everything and very good Miso ramen soup in the end. The place is nicely decorated and quiet. I’ll definitely go back again!

We had the vegan shoyu ramen and I’d say the broth was good but not really authentic Japanese. More like veggie broth. They also put spinach in the ramen. More spinach than noodles actually. And I have never seen spinach before in Ramen. The corn (it’s baby corn) tasted weird. Kinda like dirt or soil. And the vegan gyoza was mainly garlic. The waitress was kinda rude and smelled like smoke. We were 6 people and they seated us on a place for 4 and told us to „squeeze together“. And when we asked if we could wait for a bit and use three of the two-person tables they said no, „they need I’d for small groups of 2 people only“. We probably should have left right there, it would have saved us quite a bit of money, as it was fairly expensive for what we got. I can’t really recommend it.

A small, somewhat hidden restaurant with friendly service and nice decor. The food tasted fantastic, the portions were generous and all at a fair price! I can only recommend the restaurant! Best regards Noel

Really good ramen, both vegan and normal. I also recommend the gyozas and octopus balls, really enjoyed them. The prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and you get your food quickly. A place worth a visit

Friendly staff and good service. In my opinion, ramen is not in the highest level. It's good but not for 5 stars. They are quite busy, in a nice place and sometimes people wait outside to get a seat. They don't take reservations via phone. Matcha tiramisu was quite nice. Good place to have dinner.

Great Japanese Fried Chicken and the Italian waitress was super friendly. Wanted to come back for the Ramen but didn’t manage in the end

Cool place to have Ramen. It seems the place is always crowded. The gyoza was really nice. The portion was perfect. But somehow it’s missing something. I had miso ramen and my husband had soyu ramen. I tried his ramen and I think I’d prefer soyu ramen than miso. The miso ramen was lack of salt I think or it depends of people’s preference of saltiness

I had ramen of the day. Pork with ginger. It was nice, but only 3 tiny pieces of pork were presented in my ball, I think there can be more. Outside and inside don't look like ramen 🍜 place

We went there for lunch. We each ordered chicken or Tofu (6€) with a Bowl of rice (3€) and a drink. The waitor was really nice and the food was good and filling. I would Go there again 👍

Really good ramen - we had two different types, and both had fantastic tasty broth, perfect noodles, and the right balance of protein and veg. Lovely. Good, friendly, service as well. Top notch.

A fantastic jewel in Amsterdam! Best ramen soup I have ever tried, chicken broth and pork so tender and juicy, all flavors are unique. Ask for the cold green tea, it’s just amazing. Top staff they take the time to explain in detail what is the best option for you. 5 stars for this Japanese restaurant.

One of the better Japanese places I've experienced outside of Asia. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food.

The fried Tofu starter was delicious. Good quality, consistency and taste of the noodles, spicy shoyuramen broth was very tasty, but the pork on the ramen was not good. I will go back to try the other dishes. Would give 3.5 rating at this moment.

The food is incredible. I have to say it is one of the best ramen I had, even comparing to ones in Singapore. For the ramen, we had the hinata white and the chicken broth is rich and full of flavour, and the pork is cooked to the right tenderness and not overcooked. We also had the chicken katsu curry rice and the texture on the chicken is really done rightly, perfectly grilled.

The food was quite good! We highly recommend the chicken karaage and the ramen. We liked the informal atmosphere and the fact that clients can just walk in without waiting for too long. The acoustics of the restaurant can be slightly improved and the staff could be a little bit friendly. However, the service was remarkably fast even when the restaurant was quite packed!

Wow. Hinata Amsterdam is a true noodle gem in Amsterdam. Their vegan takoyaki is crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, just like the authentic version. The okonomi sauce is also on point! I'd recommend their veg karamiso ramen, option to make it extra spicy! The broth is so flavourful and not too salty! Lot's of veggies too ♡. I had a mugicha (unsweetened iced barley tea) on the side, perfect for the hot weather. We'll definitely be back in the future to try their vegan kara age and vegan katsu curry! Fast service! Friendly staff! Wonderful atmosphere!

Good noodles and kind personel. De place is cheap 14,50 for a bowl of ramen different style/ flavours. VEGAN available. Also the home made Gyoza were very tasteful. We had vegan style and steam/baked not fried. Best I tasted a long time. 5 pieces is a bit a strange number but never mind that.

Went there for a late lunch. We had the karamiso spicy ramen which were ok, in my opinion there was too much broth and not enough meat/filling. We also had the takoyakis as an appetizer, which I do really recommend. Service was fast, but the staff was not too friendly.
