Great shop, they've got everyday household items, clothes, make-up, food, two cafes, toilets (€ 0,40 cent), stuff for bikes, beds, you name it. They'll help you out and prices are good, good quality too. Recommend it! It's a chain all over the Netherlands but this is a big shop of theirs.

Unfortunately the 5-items-for-2-euros breakfast is gone, but 2 adults & 2 little kids were still able to get a decent breakfast for 11 euros. This is still a great place for breakfast and lunch on the cheap in a big quiet space. Plus you can shop for souvenirs here too!

The HEMA store in Amsterdam is a lovely department shop that has a bit of everything you could need. I've always been impressed with how big the shop is and what sort of things you can get here. It's a great find and if you're ever in the area I would recommend for you to go and see it for yourself!

Cheap breakfast, around 2 euros, pick 5 items. service was decent and it was clean. Come here if you are not picky and want a cheap breakfast

Our first experience in Hema was a great one. Accidently bumped into one outlet at the den Hague but it was closed then. Straight away went to the toy section, they had many wooden type toys that attract our son - and wife as well. The cafe serves excellent apple pie evoke the coffee is not too bad. Some food come in a set. The American cookies at €1 are also great to have.

Jeanette from customer service helped me to find a summer product from the storage. In 5 minutes I had the product I came for. Thank you. No picture but I will make Youtube videos soon.

We can spend at least three hours here. One of my favorite shops in the world. Like IKEA they have food court. Sausage is their icon. We can get anything here including wine, stationeries and clothes. Also can find a lot of things for souvenirs with small budgets and cute designs.

Mediocre range, some nice decorations but all in all nothing special and very slow service. It’s like a mix between a low end Primark and H&M

This is like a miniature Target. It has 2 floors with an eatery at the top and a deli at the bottom.

Good fresh affordable food on 1st floor at canteen .

Complete things to buy in Hema. The quality of their stuffs also good. Beside convenient store, the also have restaurant inside. I love shopping here!

the cashier and the security guard are 2 individuals endowed with qi so developed that they probably can speak with chickens They don’t treat us with politeness, i think the manager have to proficiency test this two guys for a better customer service.

Came here this morning for some breakfast. My boyfriend took a plate of 'dripping cake'. The cake was hard as a brick and the only thing dripping was our tears in trying to cut a piece of it. We didn't succeed. @hema Understand you are trying to get rid of old stuff first and freezing unsold food but a cake this hard belongs in the bin. Never again taking any desserts from this shop especially not in the morning.

Probably the biggest HEMA store i know of. Always nice for all sorts of household stuff.

Just happened to pass by around 4:30pm, they were marking down the price of bakery, brought them for dinner and breakfast, very good quality and taste.

Food in upstairs cafe is pretty uninspiring and rather expensive.
