Let me start off by saying the staff at this facility was very nice, and was empathetic to all the issues we had. If your a business traveler DO NOT stay here. To begin there were more kids screaming in the pool area to the point you could not hear your own voice. (However not the hotels fault) proceeded to go to the room and elevators took so long that we had to use the stairs nearly every time to the seventh floor. Upon failing to use the pool area's jacuzzi do to over use, I found that my bath tub had hair in it. (Still I'm understanding it wasn't a lot so I cleaned it myself) finally sat down to use the shower/slash bath tub and found there was absolutely NO hot water. Waited because I understand this hotel must be full tonight, checked water periodically for hours and no hot water was ever available. Finally at midnight I was able to take a Luke warm short shower. Woke up the next morning to kids running and screaming, no problem I needed to be up very early for business anyway. Proceeded to try to take a shower and you guessed it STILL NO HOT WATER. Packed up just wanting to put this horrible stay behind me and guess what still had to take the stairs seven floors with our luggage due to elevators obviously being overused or not working properly or both. Went to get breakfast, and there was barely a place to sit and little selection left. All in all this was the ABSOLUTE WORST hotel experience I have ever had with Hilton in 30 years of being an honors member.

I spent a really cruddy birthday here. While it was a horrible weekend, this place was very comfortable to sit for hours at a time. The employees are very kind, and the rooms are quite clean. The room furniture looks a bit dated, mattress and pillows were way too firm. Also, the elevators are the slowest I've ever been on. The stairs are a better option if at all possible. I nearly missed my DoorDash driver trying to get down the elevator from the second floor! These are minor complaints when the room was so clean and quiet.

The rooms are subpar to say the least. Need some serious renovations. I felt as if I was staying in an upgraded Motel6! Customer service is VERY poor. To put the icing on the cake, my 600$ bottle of perfume & a couple of other items mysteriously grew legs & walked away while I was out of my room. After mentioning it to SEVERAL employees & the General Mgr, they basically told me “Oh well” . I’ve honestly never been a fan of Hilton & this stay just confirmed my reservations about the company. Absolutely disgusting! I wouldn’t recommend anyone of value stay here or any of their hotels for that matter.

Definitely one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything was clean and updated. Lady at the front desk was wonderful. Pool area was nice, and they actually had pool towels available. The view of the water is spectacular. I won't stay anywhere else when in Owensboro.

Always a great stay when i pop up in June for OMGCon. I love the way the beds feel, and the room is comfy every time i walk in, cause it's during summer, and the cold AC feels so good. Can't recommend enough.

Stayed here for a conference and the place was well kept and very clean. The Staff here was great and very friendly and always made sure they took care of your request. I want to thank the Staff for doing an amazing job.

Travel for business. Updated and very clean. I Try to take the stairwell as much as possible. They have one of the best stairwells. Carpet and neat design and very clean! Room was very clean. The boardwalk near the river, behind the hotel is a great place to walk. Felt safe and it’s a beautiful design. Very close to some great restaurants. Wonderful restaurant attached to the hotel as well. Had the lobster bisque. Delicious and great service. Breakfast s a standard continental.

Loved this hotel and my bed, clean room, fridge and mucrowave. loved my view of the color changing bridge. loved the little riverwalk and restaurants, tons of places to sit and swing facing the river. AMAZING kid paradise play park and water fountains. So beautiful and clean. Tornados passed thru this night, we were told where to go for safety... Highly recommend and will come back!!!

I want to thank the staff Sam, Lavonne, and Shelby for making my stay so pleasant. The are clean, the breakfast each morning is excellent and everything is matched with a friendly smile. Thank you for such a wonderful week ❤️

Rooms were very clean. The pool was great. We had a river facing view, very nice. Breakfast was great, and everyone was nice.

I have worked in the hospitality industry for decades and this is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in, worked in or opened where I did not hear a noise from the other guests, no footsteps from the room above (on a sold out holiday weekend), no doors slamming or kids running the halls. I was very impressed with this! Hotel is within walking distance to everything we needed, which was great when traveling with two kids. The staff was so friendly and welcoming during our stay. I definitely recommend this hotel and we are planning a return trip.

The staff is so nice - there is a beautiful fountain in the lobby - the river views are pretty - the rooms are beautiful - the internet is very slow sadly but everything else is wonderful.

Everyone working here was so nice. Easy to walk to all the downtown restaurants and hot spots. Very clean. The restaurant connected to the hotel had live music the 2 nights we stayed there which was very fun

Perfect! Great location and clean. The service at breakfast is exceptional. The restaurant connected to the hotel is fantastic. There is an Aveda salon in the hotel also. I love staying here when I’m in town!

I can't think of a better place to stay in Owensboro than this hotel. It's fresh and feels new, with large guestrooms and beautiful views of the Ohio River. There are several restaurants nearby and one on the premises. Breakfast is included, and there is plenty of parking. Front desk staff were very nice and provided an easy check-in and checkout process. Great location and a quiet place to relax and enjoy the city!

Beautiful hotel and beautiful surrounding area!!! Very nice room was cool and clean. Bathroom was interesting only lacking an updated shower. But still a wonderful property!! The location was in a great area. We are Hilton honors members and visit locations often. Beautiful view of the water!! Outside has an area for your dog and bags for after they do their business. Staff was friendly and accommodating!!!

Lovely staff not as friendly as usually expected . The negative was that upon arrival the front desk was armed with a piece of paper scribbled with names and room numbers which were not correlating. The front desk had to call the manager who evidently was off and had not prepared effectively for our large group. There was quite a wait for us and t j one behind us. If the reservationist had done their job correctly we would have been told our rooms immediately. Not a front desk problem at all. I felt quite sorry for the person there who got thrown under the bus.

Best Christmas night experience we have had in a long time. Our suite was awesome - it had everything we needed and it was a pleasant surprise of what a perfect room it was. We had a river view with a view also of the park which was all decorated!!! We enjoyed family time together and made new memories. We will definitely try this hotel again! This may be our new Christmas night tradition! Thanks for making our stay wonderful!

The occupancy controlled air conditioning kept the room warm most of the night. I really wish hotels would realize that guests deserve to use the room they rented at their desired temperature.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and great location with an awesome park in walking distance and plenty of flat fields to keep kids busy. Tony was great! He kept our group in line while being nice as can be.

Hard to recommend based on our experience, but maybe worth a try for you based on the location alone. Really thought this would be a good property being that the location is great and it seemed newer. It's right on the river and walkable to so many restaurants and other venues. Our room had a leaky air conditioner, the sink was very clogged and would not drain, and the bathtub was clogged and drained slowly as well. The leaky air conditioner is one thing, but no way housekeeping did not notice the clogs. If they didn't, that's even more bothersome. The bathroom floor was sticky too when we arrived. So questionable all around. Over $250 for the night of this. No bueno! Edit to say that the hotel reached out to me and did what they could to make it right. Would try them again next time I'm in Owensboro.

This is a lovely place. It has the view of the Ohio River out its back door along with a very accessible riverwalk. This is a wonderful space to start of the day or bring peacefulness at sunset. This year the Hampton brings together three events - After 5pm, the Blue Grass Guild, and OMG CON for entertainment and enjoyment. Needing a warm breakfast to start our day, their breakfast staff are friendly and welcoming. Their customer service made our experience very special. The food was very good. With this wonderful experience, we will come back next year... It's definitely a place to come disconnect and enjoy simplicity...

Location, location, location. We attended a concert at the river park center and we were able to walk there. The park is amazing and only a block away. Also there is an amazing children’s park. Lure restaurant was really good for dinner and we got dessert on our way back. Breakfast was very good and the view of the river was amazing.

This is a Hampton hotel that lives up to it's name. Beautiful spot with extremely nice associates. It's a short walk to Smothers Park on the river. The only down side is the lack of restaurants within walking distance. But if you're going to stay in the are this is a great place to stay

The room is very nice however the customer service and hospitality from the night shift manger along with one of the other employees was less than hospital to say the least. I asked for a complementary water bottle for the night and was told it’s company policy to only give them to Gold or higher members. The night manger was very rude and was making fun of my request once I walked alway. Over water, a basic necessity denied and made fun of for the request. Something should be done, not a good policy for paying customers. ITS WATER, being a silver member is still worthy of water, we are trusting this company with our business stay and are being treated less important than animals on the farms. For the general manger the night manager that treated my co worker and I this way was the short bald man. Please do better with the training for your night shift manger.

This is a really nice hotel convenient to a lot of downtown activities. We appreciated that it was dog friendly and there is a nice park area right across the street. Breakfast was good Abe especially loved the waffles. We will definitely come back one day again.

This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you won't regret it. A tremendous location overlooking the Ohio River. The rooms are nice and clean, fairly priced. The front desk staff are always welcoming and accommodating. I have to single out the ladies who operate the breakfast service. They are warm, welcoming and ensure the food is hot and plentiful.

Affordable hotel with an excellent view of the river! My room was clean and breakfast was good. My only complaint is the tvs don’t seem to work on the cardio machines.

No hot water on day 2. Long human hair was found in two different towels sets. Told the front desk and they simply didn't care about either, I had to beg for a manager's business card.

The rooms were very clean and updated. The king sized bed was huge and comfy. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

The hotel is pet friendly, and you can't tell from the entryway. The room was a river view and it didn't disappoint also didn't have a pet odor. My husband and I experienced the Friday festival and it was nice. Overall I'm going to make another trip to Owensboro and book this hotel.

This is our first time in Owensboro. The hotel is absolutely a must stay if you are coming here. They truly know the meaning of taking care of the customer. The breakfast was very well done. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the area. Everything was perfect.

Great hotel. Rooms are clean, staff was very friendly, never encountered anything but a helpful smile. Rates are good considering the quality of the rooms. I would give it five stars but the breakfast quality was below other hotels at the same price point. Disappointing breakfast. Otherwise great place to stay!
