Very delicious coffee! Their cappuccino is simply the best, right amount of everything and perfect temperature. During summer, choose Kedua Coffee with ice, very delightful and refreshing. Wonderful croissant and pastries too. There are quite plenty of space inside. Friendly shop assistants. Overall atmosphere is really nice.

Cute place right in the heart of DC! Tried the cheese and onion empanadas and they were so delicious. Pastries looked yummy, and my oat milk cappuccino was really good. Highly recommend for a quick coffee to-go or snack if you're in the area!

Recently stopped in, and it was a satisfying experience. The ambiance was cozy, creating a perfect setting for enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the traffic go by. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a quick and smooth ordering process. The coffee itself was superb—rich, aromatic, and brewed to standard. Appreciated the variety of options on the menu, catering to different preferences. The comfortable seating and inviting atmosphere made it an ideal spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Overall, Dua delivered a consistently enjoyable experience, making it a go-to destination for anyone seeking a reliably good cup of coffee in a welcoming setting.

Dua did not disappoint. 10/10 would recommend. It was recommended by a very respected coffee professional, so I had to check it out. Delicious cappuccino. Then I ordered piccolo. Also, super delicious. The espresso was crispy. Clear and soft. Not sharp or bitter. It was the perfect piccolo. Seating is a bit tricky. There’s an outside seating that would be nice on good days. And some sitting in the back was well used. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff for sure. And yes there’s Wi-Fi.

Been here a few times and the coffee is always absolutely delicious. This visit we tried the single origin pour over and the matcha mango. It was so good! This place is truly for coffee lovers because the quality is so high. I don’t think I would recommend working here. You can but there’s very limited space and it gets pretty busy. I wouldn’t consider it an enjoyable place to work from home and that’s GREAT! All coffee shops don’t need to cater to that. Perfect place to meet someone for coffee for the first time especially if you want to impress them.

Cute spot with below average pastry. Came here after reading the reviews and was somewhat disappointed. The coffee was average at best and the scone we got was not good at all. The inside is super pretty and spacious, though. Loved the mug that our coffee came in as well. The staff were also friendly and helpful with the menu.

Great place for coffee. Good ambience. I got the Kopi Susu, $6 including tax for the large size. Tasted great. Staff was very friendly. My friend got the avocado toast and liked it.

Thankful to find this place when searching for good coffee in DC area. Their place is very clean, have delicious pastries (my favorite is pain au chocolate), nice hot chocolate and most importantly they serve good coffee. I also love the vibes this store offers and my husband loves their ceramics cups, too (can’t denied, they’re cute).

Delightfully tasty and unique flavoured coffee in this great little coffee shop. Staff were extremely friendly and the drinks were great. The ambiance of the place was very welcoming, and it wasn't too busy. Option of indoor and outdoor seating which was appreciated on such a nice, sunny day in the city. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for coffee, worth heading to no matter where you find yourself in D.C.

Cute place with good coffee and food! We got bread with banana on it which was sooo good. And also the almond bread. I got a mocha which was nice and chocolatey. The inside is very small but super aesthetic. There’s a couple of seats inside and also some outside.

Gorgeous coffeeshop in downtown DC. I had the oat milk latte which had an interesting flavor, not my regular pallet but I quickly got used to it. They have some food options sadly no gluten free bread so I couldn’t try that.

Lovely little coffee shop nearby the St. Regis where my wife and I were celebrating. She got the maple latte and I got the pour over. Their coffee is strong with floral and cherry notes. Very friendly staff, and very cute cafe. Great place to bring a book and cozy up. The only downside is that across the street is tent city for the homeless. No doubt a big issue in DC, I hope they can keep the area clean and safe and eventually turn the little park back into something nicer... 5/5 fantastic coffee, great place for a day date!

First time trying this coffeeshop. Had the iced brown latte with oatmilk. It was heavenly. The owner was so welcoming and genuinely kind. Space is great with excellent mural as you enter the shop. Best coffee I have had this weekend in DC so far. (Sorry my coffee pic came out blurry!)

Interesting and enjoyable place for specialty coffee. Really couldn’t find many specialty roasters in the area. This place has excellent and unusual Indonesian coffees across a variety of regions and processing methods. These Indonesian varieties is an unusual “find” in the specialty coffee market, and I had some of the most interesting Indonesian coffees here that I’ve tasted. They definitely had the flavor profile of Indonesian coffees, which is normally not my thing, but i really enjoyed what I had. Very interesting and enjoyable for a coffee connoisseur. The pour over of the “natural” was served in a beautiful pot and was memorably complex. Tried several drink types over a couple of days double – all quite good. I also recommend the iced coffee with coconut water. This café has its own unique ceramic drinkware and it’s gorgeous and adds a lot to the experience. The staff was very nice and accommodating, which was helpful because they didn’t seem to have any vegan items on the menu and I wound up with something improvised— bagel with sunflower butter and banana. We found places to sit both days, and saw lots of people working on their laptops. Nice scene.

An absolutely cozy coffee shop atmosphere that brings a cute, hidden gem to life in DC! The customer service is absolutely amazing and the coffee is fantastic! This has become one of my favorite places to go in the DMV! It is also very conveniently located to the metro and bus stop for easy access while also being close to the White House. I definitely recommend stopping by!

Very good cafe. Very difficult to find a nice family owned coffee shop like this in the D.C. area given competition and nearby chain coffee shops (including one I like a lot!). This is a better experience - good coffee, pleasant and tasteful on inside, and nice pastries. Have heard much about Indonesian coffee and this store brings it to life. Worthwhile and a nice location.

Finally tried this spot on the way to the office and I loved it! Ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and croissant. The cappuccino tasted rich and now I wish I ordered just an espresso shot to taste the coffee on its own. Very good quality beans! The croissant was also delicious - buttery and flaky! Not sure if they make it in house or if they order it from a local spot, but went well with the cappuccino. There is seating in the back and looked very cozy. Service was quick and friendly :-) I might try to sit and read here next time. Highly recommend!

We love to see 🇮🇩 representation!!! I thought the Rendang toast was just a gimmick but it turned out to be great?!? Also the coffee was strong. Love it!

Stopped by for a quick breakfast & coffee. Walked past a Starbucks to get here that had over 20 people waiting.. walked in here, immediately ordered and got our food & drinks less than 5 minutes later. The sunflower and banana toast was amazing!! Cute seating area outside as well. I don’t live in DC but this place will be one of my first stops when I’m back!

The Kopi Kedua iced latte was one of the best lattes I have ever had!! I asked for it slightly sweet and it was perfectly sweet and creamy. The employees are kind and helpful. I came in on a week day afternoon and it was busy with most of the outdoor and indoor tables full. I cannot wait to come back for more Kopi Kedua!

So happy this was a coffee shop near us when we were touring the White House .. the line was pretty long but they work fast .. we got the brown latte and the maple latte .. they were both super delicious - not too sweet .. delicious coffee and we ended it with a croissant .. I’m hoping we get to come back before we leave - it was really good !! Definitely recommend !

The staff was very friendly, nice vibe in the place. I just took the coffee and left but for sure looks like a place to hang out and read or work. Vanilla latte was spot on.

Both classic and Indonesian-inspired coffees on the menu. Loved the Kopi Susu (latte with condensed milk) as both hot and iced. The froth on the hot drink was done perfectly. The croissants are served slightly warmed and there is plenty of seating inside and outside.

Delicious coffee & steamed cupcake - I got the brown latte and the menu was right: the coconut sugar does make all the difference! They have a variety of house specialty drinks - if I lived in the DC area I'd come back and try them all! There is also a nice outdoor seating area with tables facing the park.

Great coffee in DC, pretty busy in the morning and you are lucky if you find a place inside, but they offer a few seats outside or an easy to go pack! Almond croissant and pastries are really good!

Came here around 9 am and it was quite a line. However service was quick and awesome. As Indonesian I love espresso mixed with coconut water. We called it cocopresso there and here they called it Klavee. Taste good, slightly sour a bit compared to one in Indonesia which is mostly sweet. Definitely will come back for Klavee and probably try their food, saw several options and all of them look good.

Great coffee house within walking distance from the Madison hotel. Patio seating with umbrellas outside and cozy seating inside. Great vibes, delicious pastries and fantastic coffee selections. I had their creamy avocatoast paired with a brewed coffee which was perfect after a morning stroll. Woman owned. Recommend.

Good place to sit with a good vibe. I ordered the hit Kopi Susu which was sweet and had the bagel with plain cream. Overall nice experience. One thing i must say the sitting place has either wood chairs or benches that are not at all comfortable to sit on for longer period of time. Next to the Belgium embassy

Lovely coffee shop that has a few outdoor seats and tables in the back for work. They use Indonesian coffee and palm sugars, having a variety of fun drinks with great flavor. While I was a little more adventurous, trying their Klaffee (coconut water coffee) and Cookies n' Cream, I would recommend trying their latte!

  • 5/5 Alexia M. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice place and the coffee is delicious!! The coffee options are varied so you can definitely have many choices. I did wish it has a large food option maybe a panini or something else but overall the place was amazing.

Came here and tried the pischok, a banana chocolate dessert. Having an Indonesian background, I had never tried it before so wanted to give it a try. It was pretty good; you can't really go wrong with banana and chocolate.

Absolutely ADORE this place! The matcha latter is so good! Maybe a little bit too sweet but SO GOOD! Best part is they actually use lactose free milk and the match is water base. YUM. Not to mention, the toast is really really good. I really recommend anyone to come here even just for a sip of coffee or a short little rest from a hot sunny day in the summer. Most importantly, there are a lot of seatings outdoors and indoors (at the back of the cafe) where you can bring your laptop and do some work here. The wifi here is also really good and it's not noisy at all. In fact, I'm writing this review in the cafe right now!

We enjoyed how this coffeehouse focuses on Indonesian coffees. The earthy flavors are a favorite of ours. The espresso drinks were made with care and we also enjoyed the unique serving cups.
