As we’re spending two weeks in Japan, the mrs and I decided to book this beautiful getaway away for my 29th birthday. It’s situated about 20 minutes away from Gotemba station with striking views of Mount Fuji. Let me tell you now, this hotel is 5* across the board. The spa and Onsen is to die for, we absolutely loved it. The food in the Japanese restaurant was excellent and the rooms were beautiful… The free upgrade to deluxe was also fantastic! Thank you for making my 29th birthday so special. It’s pretty hard to beat this one!

Really love the hotel lobby & the room, it is very modern & pleasing for the eyes. The room is spacious with comfortable bed and great view of Mt Fuji from the balcony. The hotel is new & modern. I love the breakfast spread & the quality of breakfast. The onsen & other facility is great and in good condition. The downside is only they put time restriction to access the pool for the kids (no kids can access the pool after 6pm).

It was our first stop while visiting Japan and we were thrilled. The hotel is in a quiet location under the mountains, if anyone is bothered by the sound of racing cars, then don't go, the race track is right next door. The room with a view of Fuji, was absolutely fantastic in the morning and in At 8 in the morning the bells ring from the nearby large cemetery - a mystical place. The room is great, the hotel premises are magnificently designed, the onsen is pleasant, the breakfast is excellent, but everything is just as it should be, we liked it very much.

Visited winter 2023, stayed on the speedway side. Somewhat remote location, but great for the speedway (duh) and reasonably close to Mt Fuji. Motorsports themed from the engine in the bar lobby to the switches on the nightstand to Lightning McQueen dishes for the kids at the restaurant. Excellent service all around, with special attention for my son. Good food, especially breakfast - and a modern onsen and full spa. Great views of Fuji at sunset. The rooms on the speedway side do get a bit loud once cars hit the track. Excellent hotel, one of my faves in the Unbound collection.

Best stay thus far in our three weeks in Japan. Super friendly and welcoming staff, clean, modern with a traditional twist. Amazing concept, with the racetrack location. We are not racetrack fans, as we chose this hotel for it's location, to hike Mt. Fuji, and couldn't be happier with our selection. Food is fantastic and lots of options too, from really good Italian to japanese and very generous breakfast buffet. Spa is amazing, massage was great. Onsen is on point and very clean. Well done.

We stayed here for two nights and upgraded to one bedroom suite with view of the racetrack. We love the onsen and we both enjoyed the video race car game at the gym. A special thanks to the restaurant assistant manager, she was very kind and helpful, thank you for the recommendations of drinks, we really enjoyed the meals at the restaurant. We can experience driving on the race track, we drove our rental car, it was fun. You can rent a car but needs to make reservations in advance. The staffs were all friendly and helpful.

We purchased the “summer getaway package” and we had one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had so far. It includes free buffet breakfast and free lunch set. We were also able to to go to the museum for free. We also tried the driving simulator for free. We also received free gas voucher. This hotel opened last year. So the hotel looks clean and modern. Our room has a nice view of Mount Fuji. Our room has a balcony so we could have a drink there while admiring the beautiful view. I especially liked their smart tv. I could easily stream content there using chromecast. It was also nice we could see the dinner menu from their smart tv. Their room service is one of the best we’ve had. Everything we ordered was delicious. They were on the expensive side but the food quality was really good, except maybe for the ice cream, because it was already melting when it arrived. There were not so many choices for the buffet breakfast but all of them were good. We also enjoyed our lunch at the Trofeo restaurant. I also liked the fact that they are using sustainable materials. For instance, the card key and the toothbrushes were made from bamboo. If you’re the type of person who likes to escape the busy city life, this is the hotel for you. This hotel is far from malls or shops. The gotemba premium outlet is a 20-minute drive from here. If you are a car enthusiast, you’d also love this hotel. It is adorned with stuff inspired by motorsport. From the posters, artwork, pastries and souvenir items, you can be sure that car lovers will appreciate this hotel. As a matter of fact, the east side of the hotel provides a good view of the Fuji speedway racetrack. So these rooms are the ones to book when there is a racing event. The only things I did not like about this hotel are the beds and the aircon. The beds are a little hard to my liking. The aircon is a little weak. I woke up in the middle of the night because I was perspiring. I had to bring the aircon’s temp setting to 21 degrees before I was able to sleep again. The pool was clean but it’s a bit small. So please call the front desk before going there. They won’t let you in if the pool is crowded. But overall, this was an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend this to our friends.

We made a stop here to relax before heading to Tokyo. This is a gorgeous hotel. Staff is so kind and helpful. Had a room with a view of Mt. Fuji, and it was truly breathtaking! The room is huge and has all the amenities you may need. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! Had a great time at the museum. My favorite thing about the hotel was the onsen. It was always empty, and I was able to relax after walking so much in Kyoto and Osaka.

Stunning Fuji mt view from the living room, bed room and balcony, restaurant... enjoy so much eating breakfast with the Mt Fuji view. Room amenities are very good, mikimoto facial products, Nespresso machine in room. Great onsen every night too. Staff are super friendly and helpful. special thanks to concierge staff who drove us to gotemba station when our taxi didn't show up and we were afraid we'd miss our train to the airport. Restaurant staff worked 16hrs a day but still with lovely smile. Can you believe it, I got the same staff serving us at breakfast and room service in the evening! Thank you so much, Raju. All the best to you and your family... It was a wonderful stay!

Very good hotel. Very nice and big rooms with beautiful views. The service is exceptional. Has nice, high-end restaurants. Pool, hot springs and spa are all very nice. The first two floors are race car's museum that is worth visiting. Right next to the hotel, there's a racing track. You can watch races right from a balcony. When it's not cloudy, you can clearly see mount. Fuji. Note that the place is quite remote, so without a car it'd be very hard to get around. This point was actually a good one for me as It being remote also means that there's beautiful nature all around it.

This hotel was worth every penny, and really helped us settle into Japan at the start of our trip. If you pick your season well, you can wee Mount Fuji most of the time. And of you like cars/racing (like us) you can also book a room overlooking the speedway. The view was amazing. Both resteraunts and the bar are incredibly fancy, though certainly not a budget option. The food was divine, and the drinks selection was massive! The pool was really nice, and the onsen was so beautiful.

So much to tell you about this hotel that is less than one year old. So many pros and so few cons! We loved our three day stay here. Corner Fuji view suite is an amazing room with one and a half bathrooms. You have a huge balcony and the most beautiful mountain to see. The bathroom has a separate toilet, vanity, and shower and tub. It also offers mikimoto skin care packets which is a very luxurious option. The toiletries are nice and wooden comb, brush, toothbrushes. They have robes, slippers and more for your use while staying. You get a code for the pool and onsen to enter for security. The breakfast was really nice and I prefer the days when you can order items extra from the menu. The avacado toast and pancakes were delicious. The shuttle to gotemba train was easy however I wish it ran later. The hotel helped with suggestions including Fuji sunrise tour company which was terrific. We are at both restaurants which were a little expensive however the food was amazing and in the end it was worth it. Cons are you can’t easily walk to anything. You will sometimes struggle to be understood however they usually will run to find you help. Different things is When you enter there is a museum and you just take the escalator up to front desk and lobby. They have an amazing fan terrace which looks to the speedway and a gift shop. Races were schedule starting today and race fans were arriving. Used a certificate to upgrade and so worth ot as room was almost 1000 square feet. I loved the three nights here and we would come back again for sure. This was truly a magical place!

One of the excellent hotel I ever stayed. Modern, design down to detail, staff very professional and customer focus, car racing sport focused atmosphere, must visit the 1/F museum, a perfect companion hotel to Fuji Speedway Circuit activities. If you like to be waked up by race car engines beautiful sound in the morning, must choose the circuit facing room!

This is one the best properties offered by Hyatt. Not only the incredible hospitality service provided by the hotel staff, the spacious and super clean room, the warm welcome by the curb team, but also the breathtaking view of Mountain Fuji. Woke up in the morning in the room, greeted by the God's creation Mt Fuji, a sense of peace and humbleness. A must stay if one wants to visit Mt. Fuji.

Our favorite hotel by a long shot. Truly a special location and great place to relax away from the city. You can’t go wrong with either a Fuji or track view room. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and well-themed. The spa and onsen are very relaxing. The breakfast options are great, and we found everything delicious. We also enjoyed our dinner at Trofeo. I feel that everyone here goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. It really has made our stay so special and memorable. If you have a vehicle, this location is perfect for visiting so many attractions. Had I known this beforehand, we would have planned to stay a minimum of 5 nights. We look forward to returning here on future trips.

If you're planning a trip to the amt Fuji area and looking for a place to stay, I would highly recommend Fuji Speedway Hotel. One thing that sets this hotel apart is how friendly and professional the staff were. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a warm welcome and their accommodating nature makes you feel right at home. The hotel boasts spacious and well-appointed rooms that are stylishly decorated with modern amenities. The comfortable beds provide the perfect respite after a long day exploring the local area. The views from the rooms are breathtaking, with natural light flooding in and offering views of the stunning countryside. The meals at Fuji Speedway Hotel are consistently delicious and there's a wide variety of options to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for traditional Japanese cuisine or something more Western, the chefs cater to all tastes. The breakfast buffet is particularly noteworthy, offering a vast selection of dishes including fresh cold press juice, pastries, eggs, and much more. While the hotel's bar is cozy and offers a great selection of drinks, it could benefit from a bit more manpower. Currently, it's a one-man show and can get busy during peak hours. I wished the shuttle bus could run a bit longer for tourist who don’t drive. Overall, I would highly recommend Fuji Speedway Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area. It's an excellent choice for those who value high-quality food, comfortable accommodation, and a welcoming atmosphere with very friendly and professional staff.
