The Delta State Polythecnic, Ogwashi-Ukwu is one of the State owned institutions of higher learning located at Ogwashi-Ukwu in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State. The School can be accessed through Azagba Junction or by going through Ibusa-Ogwashi road. The school boasts of large auditoriums, good lecture classrooms, an Event centre, student village, tourist centres and the likes. Courses offered here are great and it's a school one would recommend for anyone willing to move into their next phase of learning

Located at Ogwashi-Uku area of Delta State branching of from Azagba-Ogwashi. The facility is one that can be described as relatively below standard of a tertiary institution in Nigeria. No paved nor asphalted roads within the polytechnic campus. Poorly maintained or unkept bushy environment with very little or no water supply. Appears to have diligent domestic staff, average trained and performing security guards and a handful of visiting lecturers. There seems to be very little presence (per infrastructural development) of the state government as opposed to the federal government for a state owned tertiary institution. The location of the facility is ideal for a learning centre/tertiary institution. Most of the structures/buildings are built without putting the teaming population of the physically challenged and elderly: this is as seen in terrible changing levels, lack of wheelchair access and parking space.

I feel inside the school premises should be tarred by the State Government. Errosion is eating up the school. I see almost all the students wear sleepers to school because of the mud in the school when it rains.

Driving into the premises was not very smooth due poor access roads within. Aesthetic of State Poly will be classic if the internal roads are tarred. That I feel is the window to the outside world.
