Wow great flavours and very affordable dining, a definite must try. Spicy Dahl, tandoori shrimp and jeera rice with fresh roti. Friendly staff and the kitchen hit it bang on!

Went to Lachi for the first time last night for dinner and was not disappointed! We had the dinner for two which could have easily fed three people. The Aloo Gobi was perfectly spiced and the Lamb Rogan Josh tender and delicious. The fluffy Garlic Naan was one of the best I've had. They just moved into their new location which is very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Will definitely return!

First day it was a takeout order, food was good but they didn’t put any napkins and cutlery with our food(I didn’t knew that we have to ask for it). Next day Dine in experience was great, their chah was the best. We ordered again same evening, but didn’t like their mixed veg. Attached the picture. Another thing which was annoying me when we went to eat there, server was kept touching her hair, I saw her 3 times taking her hair tie off and putting it back on. You are helping customers and touching their food and then kept touching your hair, no she did not wash them. I’m glad she didn’t serve us. But yes I’ll visit them again.

The food was fantastic and the staff was very knowledgeable and informative. Love the Chai tea to compliment the meal. Definitely, a must goto Indian restaurant and there are alot of great ones in Penticton. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes!

Good Indian takeout. We had lamb jalfrezi, chicken korma, rice and naan - all good. For me the sauces both a bit too sweet, but my wife liked that - so depends on taste I guess. Good portions - enough for lunch tomorrow! Thanks.

I ordered the dinner special for pickup. It was ready within 25 minutes. The service was sparse with only 1 attending the pickups and phone orders and payments. Very polite indeed. Food was tasty and spicy. Portions worked well. Price was phenomenal at 35 dollars for 2 to dine. My first time ordering takeout and I'm pretty sure it won't be the last.

Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Prices are fantastic for the portions. Mango chicken had just the right amount of sweetness to curry flavours. The texture of the raita was thicker instead of runny and I loved it. Pictured: shaahi paneer, butter chicken, paneer chili

I have been to Lachi multiple times. It is a favorite for Indian food while in pentiction. Great dishes, food is always very flavorful and great quality and quantity is good also. The garlic nann bread is fantastic!

Lachi's food is so good! Their Naan is made in a traditional oven and is crunchy and chewy all at once. We enjoyed their special - lamb, butter chicken, naan, salad, rice for $24.95. For dessert, we shared their hand made ice cream which tasted like it had caraway, cinnamon, and pistachio in it. The decor is pretty simple and staff were wearing masks and I noticed a server wiping down the chairs as well as the table. We will certainly go back!

Checked out Lachi Fine Indian Cuisine for lunch. They have cheap lunch specials (available until 2:30pm). Their dinner special ($32.95 for 2) also seemed like a great deal. - Aloo gobi adraki ($9.95) - more of a home style, comforting take on aloo gobi. Plenty of rice and the naan (sprinkled with parsley) was fresh. - Lamb saag ($11.95) - lamb was tender and included a couple of chunks. Satisfying, tasty eats at Lachi. Will be back for more next time we’re in town.

Indian food usually doesn't fancy me but this one is an exception. Ordered the lunch combo, big portion, food was flavorful and just the right spiciness. Can't believe it's only $12!

Hit this place for lunch based on a recommendation. Lunch was great and less than 15$ which I appreciate. The only thing holding me back for 5 stars as the butter chicken portion was a little light. Would have liked to see more protein in it but overall I’m very happy.

Had the dinner for two after a day of climbing, and both were very full afterward. The food was fantastic and came out very quickly, the service was good. The price of the dine for two was incredible. We'll definitely come again when we're here.

Penticton now has an authentic Indian restaurant. Great food with an amazing menu. The staff was super friendly but still left us to ourselves. We had a group of 13 with all sorts of dietary issues that Lachi had answers for every one. The different flavors of foods was incredible and they helped us with choosing an array of different meat and meatless dishes. Our group left with very full bellies. I highly recommend this restaurant. Give it a try!

We had ordered food to be delivered, time they estimated to arrive was bang on. The gentleman who delivered our food was courteous and friendly. I had the Curry Chicken, it was fresh and absolutely delicious. Best Samosas I have had in in the Valley ! Most definitely will be going back ! Thank you for an amazing meal !

Found hard plastic in my food But manager or owner did not come forward to acknowledge it on reporting..

Did take away and was told it would be 40-45 minutes. That seemed long but whatever, I show up and I'm told they're a bit behind. Then 35 minutes later the food finally is ready. Some is hot some is warm. So all told, food that could have been cooked when I called took 80+ minutes. No real apology for the wait. The food was good but service was terrible.

Got the dinner combo, Rogan Josh and vindaloo with garlic naan. Tasted good, nice spices in the curry but jesus were they ever oily. We managed to scoop half a bowl of oil from each of the curries. Naan bread the same story, soaked in oil. Cut the oil out and this place would be a winner.

We went to Lachi for a dine in experience after a long closure. We were anticipating the delicious food. We were so disgusted by the filthy table top We left with our dinner packed up to go because we felt cleaning protocols were not being met . There were 6 people in their tiny kitchen and not a mask in sight. I hope they concentrate on keeping their customers safe and keep up with safety protocols or risk losing business.

I’m very picky for Indian food. But love there food. Will come again for sure.

The service was amazing We ordered chicken tikka masala, vegetables curry, naan and rice. They were quick very friendly and the the atmosphere was great. I noticed the extra cleaning after each table left and they were very conscious of how many people they let in. Highly recommend

By far the best Indian food in town. Whether it's at the restaurant or takeout/delivery. It's too good. The butter chicken is the best I've ever had - really flavourful and not super sweet like other places do. Their chili chicken was a very unexpected surprise, I'm now addicted to it. Delicious naan bread. I'm already hungry for the next time I get to go here!

Had Lachi tonight for dinner, we got the dinner special with butter chicken and chicken vindaloo. We also got beef samosas. The special came with a HUGE container of basmati rice, salad, naan and some delicious sauces. It was AMAZING! Thank you for the delicious food!

My favourite place for Indian food! I don't do dining rooms, so we order for takeout. I have never been disappointed in my meal. Great portion size, delicious food, and worth every penny. Yum!
