Upon
arrival
the
first
thing
we
noticed
was
the
horrible
state
of
the
pool.
The
water
was
a
green/brown
colour.
We
were
told
that
it
was
like
that
due
to
the
natural
water
in
the
area.
After
our
first
night
someone
was
cleaning
the
pool
getting
rid
of
the
algae
that
had
set
in.
Not
sure
how
one
was
supposed
to
enjoy
the
pool
as
with
all
the
cleaning
and
chemicals
needed
it
would
take
a
good
2
days
as
well
as
there
were
no
deck
chairs
nor
tables.
On
the
website
it
indicated
king
bed.
It
actuality
was
two
singles
pushed
together
without
even
a
bed
topper
so
you
would
slip
between
the
beds
at
night.
The
blankets
used
on
this
bed
were
full
of
hair
and
when
asked
for
a
blanket
it
came
with
blood
stains
on
it.
The
hotel
did
not
sell
beer
as
far
as
we
know
so
we
were
allowed
to
buy
our
own
and
use
their
fridge.
What
we
found
inappropriate
was
when
one
of
the
employees
asked
for
one
of
the
apple
beers
as
he
had
never
tried
one.
At
dinner
we
asked
for
a
side
of
deviled
chicken
with
our
pasta
dish.
We
were
charged
1450
lkr
even
though
we
were
on
half
board.
That
price
was
the
full
price
of
a
meal.
While
at
the
hotel
we
inquired
about
the
laundry
services
they
offered.
We
were
advised
that
it
would
cost
us
per
item
which
came
to
1700
lkr
which
we
had
no
issue
with
until
they
told
us
it
would
cost
an
additional
1600
lkr
to
have
tuk
tuk
take
it
to
the
plantation
hotel
and
back.
We
delivered
our
laundry
to
the
plantation
ourselves
and
when
it
was
returned
it
wasnt
even
folded.
On
the
menu
the
hotel
offered
cappuccino
and
espresso
but
it
was
not
available
due
to
covid
which
really
had
me
confused.
Lastly,
in
our
room
we
had
our
bathroom
wall
which
was
covered
in
ants
and
that
we
had
to
kill
on
a
nightly
basis.
We
asked
the
staff
to
spray
but
it
didn't
help.
I
understand
we
were
the
first
clients
since
covid.
You
would
think
the
hotel
would
go
above
and
beyond
for
their
first
clients
and
to
make
sure
all
is
clean
and
in
order
and
ready
to
go.
