It's a very exciting attraction and I don't think it's so high that it makes my legs tremble, if you come in the evening. You will find a very beautiful sunset.

Amazing place to visit. The views at sundown are just fantastic. There is are steps leading to the first viewing point, it's just some minutes. Then you can freely walk through the canyon but there is not any kind of safety whatsoever so I would strongly recommend shoes and not sandals. If you like stunning natural views and some climbing/trekking, then you do not want to miss this place. Really easy to get here on a scooter.

IG: adventuring_duo69 Impeccable views, if you thought the stairs up to the canyon was bad it is only just beginning.. the first hills views are great, the first image uploaded. But to see the best best you will have to do a bit of climbing, I wouldn’t say it’s beginner but with patience and hand/footing concentration you will be able to climb it safe. My girlfriend is afraid of heights and I managed to get her to come along, she was so happy with herself and the views we saw at the top. We have gone during rainy season so in the summer I’m sure it would be easier! Highly recommend

Beautiful canyon to visit. Some of the trails can be a bit challenging as the drops are steep and during dry season the sand doesn't offer a lot of traction. Some gorgeous scenery and worth taking in. There is a toilet at the entrance and food stalls available for drinks and snacks. I'm not sure how morning is but I arrived at 4pm or so but it was still quite hot. Wear sunscreen and bring water.

The views for the sunset are stunning, but the crowds can make the picturesque views a little tainted. I would recommend shoes if you plan on hiking around the area and the cliffs are sheer and there are no rails. Sunrise are beautiful however they are rare as the fog most days will cloud out any view of the sun leaking over the hills in the canyon. It is always lovely to visit and even worth a wonder in the middle of the day when it’s less busy. Plenty of food and drink at the base of the canyon which is 100m from the canyon itself.

The views on the canyon are truely amazing! Makes sense that this site is highly rated by visitors. However, if you wanna go hiking here please mind that in dry season you have to bring solid footwear, because the loose sand is really slippery and you need to be careful not to fall. I’m an experience walker, but came here on sneakers and didn’t dare to take the full hike. It was simply too dangerous at some points.

Interesting place to stop and see. We didn't walk out that far as we are in our mid 60's. heading out that way and crawling through the carved out area is a younger mans game. We are glad we stopped, we did fly the drone and some nice footage. If in the area stop and have a look and continue if you dare. 3btraveler

A little bit of a hill to the top but not too strenuous! Came to the canyon whilst a storm was rolling in! Was super scary! But great views (which my husband bravely went to great lengths to get the photos) please be cautious when going to the far off lookouts of the canyon ⚠️ it can be very dangerous! Wear proper shoes! 👟

Amazing place with a magnificent view! If you come in daytime there isn't to much people there so you can walk around in peace just enjoying the breathtaking views! Yeah the path have steep edges, but it is more that enough room to move around safely! The entry is free and there are so many different paths you can take. There is a lot of small shops and restaurants at the entrance!

Amazing view! Bit dangerous since it was very crowded, one some areas you could not pass eachother and I was a little scared of accidentally bumping someone off, so we stayed on 'solid' ground rather than try and get to another vantage point. Highly recommended to visit at sunset, crowded but still fairly easy to find a good, safe spot

Beautiful views, but the place is frankly unsafe. Free entrance. Narrow gravel walkways with sheer drops. Would recommend visiting with closed shoes.

Would definitely recommend visiting the Pai Canyon! Not too much if a walk to see the stunning view! No entry fee either! Some a very nice spot to get some food and a coffee just at the road too which I would also recommend!

Nice place for sunset/sunrise. Good spot to take some photos and relax. Not too many steps to the top, would recommend wearing proper shoes as parts can be slippy and you need to use your hands to help your balance

One of the best places to see the sunset in Pai. Best to come a bit early during the winter season since there are a lot of tourists and it will be hard to find a parking space. You can buy some snacks and drinks too before you climb up. Also bring a plastic bag for your trash if you will bring food to eat. The climb is not too far but bring a bottled water during the summer season to quench your thirst and battle the heat. Get the perfect spot for your sunset shot and wait a bit more for the color changes of the sun and sky.

This place is actually very huge and you can go around to explore. The main tourist part is a “platform” about 20 metres away from the starting point. No entrance fee needed. There are also some food and drink stalls.

Pai Canyon is always an amazing place, especially for golden hour and sunset. It gets sketchy in some places along the canyon so you can really explore as much or as little as you want. The hills around the canyon are stunning. Id assume sunrise is also beautiful there. If you have a fear of heights or anything like that just be prepared for some cliffs and long drops

Very pretty for sunsets and cool hike, just wear the right shoes because in the dry season it’s very dusty and slippery. Also be mindful that it’s a popular destination so it’s filled with people

It's such a cool place to visit. I'd say go early, bring some lunch, and spend a couple hours walking up and down the canyon. Beautiful scenery and an enjoyable climb, be warned it can be slippery.

Couldn’t go for sunset due to rain but got up early and went for sunrise which was very beautiful and quiet as I was the only person there! Canyon is very cool to see but be careful of your footings as the drops are treacherous!

Super nice place to watch the sun go down, even with the smoke. Remember to come a bit before the actual time of sunset because it dips below the mountains a little bit earlier. Plenty of great walks to do too, I just would attempt them between 12-4 because it's too hot.

Amazing place and hike around the area, take enough water if you are planning to hike around. You get dusty when climbing! I saw some people doing also in flip flops, would recommend proper shoes or barefoot. And better if you are not afraid of heights

Free entry, get some beers and go watch the sunset. Wear trainers as you'll probably want to climb a bit to get the best shot! We only went at sunset but it's open all day and you can explore the area. Take water if you do, it's out in the open and gets hot!

Go at/near sunset. It’s not the Grand Canyon - it’s the Pai Canyon. So many reviews knocking this very unusual geographic location. I enjoyed it. Be sure to bring your drone for cinema vistas.

No fee to entry and quite empty at 17h. It’s a very hot place so bring water and sunscreen. There are small shoppings in the entry that can offer some food and drinks. It’s quite slippery but still walkable with flip flops.

Sunset was nice but it was really really crowded up there. Would have been easier to explore the area during other times. The “hike” along narrow ridges on some parts may not be for the faint heated tho.

Great to watch the sunset! There was areas we couldn’t access due to our footwear (flip flops) without these areas there isn’t actually that much of a walk.

Very nice sunset here. It is quite busy because a lot of tourists will take a bus or taxi to the canyon for the sunset. We had a bike so we just made our way over. We didn’t pay anything for this. I think if you go on the bus or taxi obviously would have to pay them. It was nice and relaxing. Just find the right spot with not as many people. Very beautiful!

I recommend coming to the canyon to watch the sunset. The canyon is quite small so it can get a bit crowded at sunset. There are no barriers at all or signs so be careful when moving around the canyon.

Although it’s not quite comparable with Grand Canyon, this place offers very unique geological structure. It is quite high and some path are narrow, so please make to watch kids. You need to climb up some areas and it gets a bit slippery so probably shoes with grip would be better. I really enjoyed the view wand little walk with a bit of thrill :)

Good place to see the sunset. Can get quite busy so you need to get in early. Been here twice. In tourism high season shops and food outside. Amazing spring rolls. Off season the canyon is busy but all the shops and cafes are gone.

Amazing place! View is simply stunning! We came in the late afternoon to catch the sunset but it's quite crowded though. If you're willing to, climb in deeper and you can avoid most of the people. Closes at 7pm but should be dark by then so no point going too late. Theres some simple food and drink places when you exit out at the end! Be prepared for the walk! And i would highly recommend climbing to the further in spots as well! Worth it!

Scenic canyon with stunning valley views. Beware the walks are not maintained and quiet hazardous to walk on some places. Use proper shoes, don’t drink or smoke to much and use proper sense. Best view is sunset or sunrise and there’s some small stalls you can buy drinks and a free parking. There’s also no entrance fee.

One of the major attractions in Pai. Nice place to enjoy the nature view and take photos. But, be aware of the cliff as certain parts of the canyon is not safe to climb. You definitely don’t want to ended up in a hospital during your holiday
