La Mom is a great place to stay! It is very clean (bathroom was so clean especially compared to other hostels I’ve stayed it). Bed was comfortable and there are lockers in room. There is an outside chill area. The hostel doesn’t have a big chill area inside/it isn’t a party hostel but there is so much to do around it because of its central location. It was perfect to go to walking street and nearby bars then go back to hostel for a good nights rest. (The jazz bar by hostel was great, I went both nights however you can hear the music of you go to bed before bar closes so have your earplugs). The staff was great. They realized several guests asked for hair dryer and found a temporary one for me to use and mentioned getting some for bathroom since guests had asked, very thoughtful! And, my favorite, free water refill.

I’ve stayed in 9-10 hostels as of July 2019 and this is by far the nicest, cleanest I’ve ever been to. This is a small, quaint hostel with great amenities and incredible location in the city center — walking distance to pretty much everything. The A/C in our room was incredible and kept us cool throughout the evening. Cindy, owner of the hostel, was great as well and really nice to hang out with. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

La Mom is great! Charlie is an excellent host and did what he could to help us out. There front foyer was always stocked with bananas, passion fruit, little cookies, and instant coffee/tea for consumption at your leisure. The back patio is nice, and gains entry to the neighboring burger place, which was also tasty. Expensive for food in Thailand though but that's to be expected for "Western" food. There is parking in front for scooters. Each room has an attached small patio area with clothes hangers and a small place to sit. The back patio has two hammocks to lounge in, however I couldn't get the wifi back there. I would definitely recommend the hostel. HOWEVER it is right off the main hostel/bar street and can be loud in the evening. To my knowledge all the bars close at midnight in Pai, though, so not a huge deal. Bring your ear plugs if you want to get to sleep earlier though! I stayed here 4 nights.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hostel is clean and modern with great toilet facilities. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The hostel is in the centre of Pai so you are a close walk to restaurants & bars etc. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This is a hostel you want to stay in! The staff is amazing, great entertainment and if your lucky they’ll give you a free shot! The beds are comfy and with a curtain, the hostel is fairly new. Its clean and tidy, free water available. Really reccomend this place! Stay here! Love the staff! Thanks guys!!! Xxx

Very centrally located (night market and bars practically outside the door - 3 min walk). Shower system set up very nicely - plenty of space for changing. Shout out to Mason (currently works there during the day only) for recommending some really cool biking routes, having some cool stories to tell, and being all around chill guy. Rooms and common area a little bit cramped but not much an issue as you'll generally be out and about.

Absolutely perfect hostel located very central. Amazing staff, very attentive and helpful too. Facilities and rooms were spotless and our back they have a burger restaurant that patrons receive 10% off for! 10/10, will be coming back every time I’m in Pai.

I stayed here for 5 nights and I loved my stay here. The place is very clean, the staff is really nice and Cindy, the owner of the hostel, is really nice to hang out with. When I had some problems, staff and Cindy were really helpful! I will definitely come back here if I will ever be in Pai again, which I think will happen :)

I have mixed feelings about this hostel! Pros 1. The location is SUPERB! Just off the main walking street and surrounded by everything you could want, but the street itself is relatively quiet 2. The bar attached to the hostel is so fun and great music! 3. The hostel is clean and has everything you need Cons 1. The mattress is quite literally the most uncomfortable I have even experienced… you might as well sleep on the floor. I have been travelling for a long time and you don’t expect a bunk in a dorm to be the most comfortable, but honestly this was by far the worst bed I have ever slept on - they really need to do something about it! 2. The noise from the bar is very loud until 1 am, although if you have good earplugs you can get to sleep just fine! 3. The WiFi is terrible and didn’t work the entire time I was here! I would consider staying again but would definitely try to find another hostel first!

Absolutely cozy place in spite of karaoke behind the wall I slept like a baby. Location is super. I lost the key to the lock and the manager came immediately after my call and gave me a new one

Rooms are not so comfortable bc they don’t have a space to put your stuff, but they are still quite clean and comfy. The bar is super cool, and you can do friends. Location is perfect as well

I really like to stay here (I even went back after my Mae Hong Son trip). Close to night market and bus station. Towels provided and in the shower also soap, shampoo and conditioner available. Extremely helpful and lovely staff. ☹️Can be a bit noisy at night.
