The new owner Matthew and his Thai partner/friend are really nice people. The place has a fantastic view of rice fields and mountains. The common area is awesome to hang out during the day. It also has a pool but no one was using it coz it was chilly. The location is perfect to walk in nature as well as walk to town. When we were there in the super high season(Xmas-NYE) we found it loud at nights. Unlike most places in Pai, the resort didn’t follow the -no noise after 10 pm- policy. We could hear the other rooms, the reception area and the music coming from a nearby bar really late at night. I wish I had read a review about the noise before booking since it was difficult for us to sleep despite our ear plugs. The rooms are rustic and need renovation as it’s an old resort but Matthew said he would get to it after the high season was over. I wish the team the best in their upcoming seasons!

I stayed here 4 nights. Fabulous! Place has a wonderful chill vibe and good energy. The owner and his staff were very accommodating. I had a super comfortable bed w/white sheets. I was in the upgraded B3 Cabin. Huge bathroom lots of space for my luggage. Seating areas near the cabin, as well as throughout the hotel. Hammocks, pool, amazing view overlooking the mountains in the farm. There was the cutest cats and a dog on premise. Hot coffee and water refills. You can order fruit smoothies, and breakfast for an additional charge. It’s just a short walk to the “walking Street” and nightlife. I really didn’t want to leave ! Paradise.

We had a room where apparently the rain could get in and fall over our stuff. Awesome to have all your clean clothes wet during a backpacking trip. Also the toilet did not have the pipes tight, and every time we flushed the toilet, there would be water on the floor of the bathroom. The price was way too high for this low quality. The stairs at the entrance have a huge hole in the middle, so you can fall there and hurt yourself! Great after coming after a night of partying in Pai! So this happened to me. Check out the pictures :) The only good thing is that we did not have to stay for long!!

Initially booked for two nights and as soon as we arrived we decided to extend our stay. The views of the rice paddies are phenomenal and our private room looked straight onto them. We did not want to leave our room. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere was amazing, it was very chill and relaxed, had hammocks about the place so you could just lie back. The location is also great, close to the main road in Pai. 10/10 recommend.

One of the best hostels you could stay at in close proximity to Pai. It has a bar, a fire place, a movie projector, lots of open-air hangout spaces, cooking classes, GREAT and affordable food!, very very friendly staff, and attracts the best people from all around the world into into a truly bonding experience. Super chilled during the day, lively at night.

This Hostel is perfect for you if you want to party/explore/make genuine connections with other travelers. But its also a chill place just for yourself, relaxing watching the mountains in a hammock, reading....(maybe smoking a joint :)) Best Hostel in Pai in my opinion, such a chill space with a pool to relax and to have some time for yourself, but also the other travelers in the hostel were very social and i made a lot of good friends. The shower isnt the best (depends what youre used to) but the entire hostel makes more than up for it.

Don't expect perfection. Embrace the rather primitive nature of the cabins themselves and the non too functional utilities and then relax into the most laid-back, welcoming and friendly hotel in Pai. If you're able, book the mountain view superior cabins. The view is blissful over a rice paddy to the hills in the middle distance and every cabin has comfortable matting/seating area in front with its own hammock. Payment is cash only so ensure you have enough baht to cover your stay. Food is reasonable and drinks are priced well. There's a small kitchen behind reception with free water and coffee machines. Lovely unheated pool and seating areas to practise yoga or enjoy a drink with friends. The short walk from Pai centre makes you feel as though you're deep in the countryside when you're actually less than a 5 minutes walk to be in the action. Highly recommended.

Really cool spot with an awesome view and pool. Super nice staff and chill guests. Just be aware it’s a very rustic vibe - the little cabin rooms are super basic and can let in bugs and lizards. But it’s fun if your expectations are in the right place.

It’s a lovely hostel with a pool and nice chilling spaces. The dorms didn’t have keys/locks besides lockers. The shower wasn’t great. However the staff were all friendly and willing to help and not a far walk to local things :)

The best hostel, beautiful view and amazing place to relax. Extended my stay twice, nothing but good things to say about Buzzas !

I spent 4 night at Buzzas! It has been a great experience. My favorite part has definitely been the pool area with the amazing view over the fields and buffaloes roaming around. The whole atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. I also enjoyed spending the nights in my single wooden bungalow with (almost) open-air bathroom. Finally, I loved the fact that Buzzas is only 10 minutes away from Pai’s Main Street, but still very silent at night.

I came here after not enjoying my first hostel in Pai and really loved my stay. The staff are so attentive, the beds are really comfy and the outside is the perfect place to chill. It’s only 5/10 minutes from the walking street but with stunning views and without the noise at night..

The resort is so relaxing and the people are so nice! Amazing food, I love this place so much. Definitely recommend to stay here😍

Hands down my favorite hostel I've ever stayed at, feels like you are up in the hills in pai but realistically you are a 5 min walk from town. Great place to relax and admire the amazing view, I will be returning again very soon, hopefully returning for the rest of my life. 10/10 all the staff are great too.

Everything is great here, I planned to stay one night but it turned out to be six in the end. Really chilled vibe here, great and super friendly stuff. Loved it. Be aware that you are in the nature here :) but actually this is the great thing about the location. Had a really good time. Free water, tea and coffee! Food is also great, prices are okay.

An amazing place with the best vibe for Pai! 10 I came here and originally booked for 2 days but the moment you step foot in this place you feel like it can be your second home. The pool and commune area is so sociable, this isn't a party hostel specifically but the vibe is very wholesome. The owners are so helpful with any activities going on in the area, you have to try the special fried rice which has a secret recipe only 100bht as well so it's totally worth it. I ended up booking an extra 3 days here because this place made me feel like I was at a retreat. I would have easily stayed an extra week or so but I had to go to Vietnam. Overall though everyone should come here you will not be disappointed!

What a perfect place to relax after long traveling! Waking up next to amazing rice field views and grabbing coffee to drink on one of the hammocks and just chill. Every evening there was a firepit and nice coversations with other guests. They have a restaurant with delicious dishes and drinks. I stood in a single bungalow and it had a nice bed and stylish bathroom. Location is perfectly balanced close to walking street but still far enough to have a feeling of private oasis bubble. Top choice for solo travelers 👍 Thanks to whole super nice staff, hope to come there again in the future 💕

The Hostel is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness, it has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. They also offer a variety of activities and tours to help you explore Pai. Buzzas Hostel is a fantastic choice for your stay in Pai. It's not just a place to sleep; it's an experience. I can't recommend it enough. I had an amazing time here and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Pai. It’s just amazing here!!

in a year of backpacking, this was possibly my favourite hostel of the entire trip. The location was stunning, the staff were great and the bathroom was fantastic. the only thing i didn't love was the bunkbeds, the top one was awkward to get up to and the mattress was not particularly comfortable but I still loved it here and would stay again

This place is a paradise, one of the most unique and beautiful hostels i have stayed in during my travels in Thailand. If you are looking for a very chill, peaceful and comfortable place this is for you! The staff always greeted me and made me felt welcoming and at home and vibes were always on point with the beautiful views to the rise fields and mountain and expectacular sunrise, sunsets and full moon view. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!!

I must have been on the road for approximately two years in my life so far. Three different continents and more countires than I'm willing to count right now. And this is it. The best place I ever stayed at. Be ready to be greeted by the two amazing hosts, Mattie and Ron, welcoming you to one of the few paradises left on earth. Be ready to wake up to a panoramic view every morning, to meet tons friends in the first few hours after arriving, to extend your stay several times after you only wanted to stay one or two nights originally. Don't go here if you plan to netflix. Don't go here if you expect no single sign of dust in your room and two different levels of pillow firmness. You little dandy. Go here if you want to have a time that you're going to think back to for years and maybe the rest of your life. If you're doing it right, the smile on your face when checking out will never vanish.

Matthew and hes staff are amazing, u can see and feel they live in de land of smiles. They love what they are doing, go the extra mile.. thus pllace is sincerely the best stay i had in my trip in Thailand. This is the way to experience Pai, waking up in your private hut, opening the windows and seeing the gorgeous mountains is mesmerizing. The pool and huts are clean, the people staying are chill and social. I regret only staying for 3 nights..

Booked for 3 nights originally, stayed for almost two weeks. Buzzas embodies everything that is Pai, relaxed, naturally beautiful and community. I am truly sad to be leaving but it will hold a special place in my heart. Matt and Tone are absolute beauties and always willing to help you out. The value of this place far exceeds anywhere else I've stayed. If you're in Pai, this is your place to be.

This place is an absolute gem. It's a little outside of the main street. Enough so that you can enjoy some peace and quiet but also get involved in the hustle and bustle at a stones throw if you want. The staff are amazing here. Always very friendly, helpful and go the extra mile. Food and drink is great. Free coffee and water all day. It's serene. They don't push tours, rentals or anything on you. Give you good honest advice. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for being excellent hosts!

Helpful hosts, great location, and free coffee and tea. The rooms are lovely and hot water is hot. Sometimes the bar down the hill is too loud, but it could be a lot worse. Otherwise pool, good breakfast for 100 baht, they sell smoothies, and very good work spaces with decent wifi. Definitely recommend.

Friendly hostel in a beautiful location. Has a nice pool, good breakfast and Matty who runs the place is super helpful. He is probably the nicest American I have ever met. Photo is the view from my room.

Chillest place to be in Pai. Awesome view, great prices, great breakfast, fantastic hamacs and a sick pool. Shot out to my man Matthew and Nun (sorry if I misspelled the name). Just go for it! Thanks for those moments, Hope to see you again, Your Italian Vincenzo.

Great hostel in beautiful location. Lovey place for relaxing and only a short walk to the night market/bars. Matty the owner is a great guy. Slowly creating a gem hidden in the mountains.

Very nice place. Location is great, tugged away but still close enough to the city centre. Swimming pool is a big plus and so are the staff and the owner. The only downside was the bed in our hut. You can feel the springs in the matrass wich was very uncomfortable. It made us change hotels..

  • 5/5 Tara P. 1 year ago on Google
Close enough to the city centre to be able to walk, far away enough to not be bothered by loud noises at night, perfect location with a beautiful view of the mountains. Dorms were like any other hostel and came with their own bathrooms. What really makes the experience though are the kind people running the joint. Every night felt like a family. They never intrude but are always willing to hang and have a good time. Could honestly not recommend this place more. The vibes are off the charts in this place :).

I stayed here for just about a week during Christmas and loved it so much that I decided to stay for New Year's. It's very quiet at night, the bungalows are very well situated, there are hammocks and lounge areas and the coffee here is quite good as well. I've stayed in Pai quite a few times and this is my favorite place so far. I'll be coming back and when I do I'll stay here!

Buzza's is the best place to stay in Pai! We arrived late at night during low season and Drew and Milk greeted us with a smile and made us feel very welcome. The place is quirky and colourful with many communal spaces to get to know other travelers. Hammocks are scattered everywhere adding to a very relaxed vibe. Their food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced, Milk is a great chef! There's also a bar that stocks everything you will need, and they even offer extra activities such as yoga, love music and movie nights shown on a projector screen. Bike rental is available from here as well making things very easy but if you're not up for driving Buzza's is only a 15 minute walk from town and the walking street. The bungalows are perfect for couples, even have on suites, and there are dorms too, all very well priced. When we were there there was even a deal on, buy 3 nights and get the 4th free! Very worth it! Everyone was very helpful with suggestions of what to do in Pai and even if you're wanting a lazy time Buzza's gives you that peace and quiet as well. Or just mingle with Drew and his dad, other then being great hosts, they have many stories to keep you entertained. Also Buzza's have a team of furry friends who are adorable, the dogs will even be your body guards and protect you as you head out to the bars! Probably our favourite place we stayed in Thailand, planned on staying for a couple nights, ended up staying for 2 weeks! Cannot recommend enough, a perfect little hideaway, the best way to experience the slow-paced town of Pai. Choose Buzza's!

The place to be in Pai! A hostel with amazing vibes and atmosphere; it felt like a community! I’ve met very nice people here and we did a lot of stuff together! The staff, especially Milk, the manager is a big part of this! It truly felt like home; and just being with good friends! It was sooooo hard to leave!!!! I love this hostel!

Had an amazing time at Buzzas, stayed for 4 days at the beginning of my trip and ended up going back for 1 month! Lovely communal areas and dorms, chill, very friendly and social vibe, amazing people, and beautiful bungalows with a little balcony and amazing view! Perfect location just a little out of town, short walk / very quick bike ride. Will never forget the buzzas family and experience!

Me and my partner spent a single night here in a private room to just get a bit of break and get a good night's sleep. The room was absolutely perfect, everything we wanted. It was all enclosed with a nice little balcony. The hostel staff were all super friendly and the atmosphere there was lovely. Would definitely recommend. I'm
