Let me tell you about my recent stroll down Pai Walking Street. Trust me, if you're into good times and awesome vibes, this place is a total winner. First off, the whole experience was just pure joy. I mean, the street is alive with colors, music, and energy. It's like a carnival of coolness, where every shop and stall seems to be competing for your attention in the best way possible. From handcrafted trinkets to mouthwatering street food, you'll find it all here. And let's talk about prices, shall we? I was expecting to spend a fortune, but boy, was I wrong. Pai Walking Street is a paradise for your wallet. I managed to snag some seriously rad souvenirs without breaking the bank. It's like a treasure trove of affordable awesomeness. Now, the best part? This place is seriously tourist-friendly. The locals are super welcoming, and most vendors speak English, so you won't have any trouble asking about that mysterious-looking dish or bargaining for that unique piece of art. It's a melting pot of cultures and smiles. Plus, it's not just about shopping and stuffing your face. The street comes alive after dark with live music, street performances, and a whole lot of good vibes. You can just wander around, soaking in the atmosphere, and feel like you're part of this amazing, vibrant community. So, there you have it. If you're in Pai, the Walking Street is an absolute must-visit. It's a playground for the senses, a place where you can embrace the joyful chaos, grab some killer deals, and make memories that'll stick with you long after you've left. Get ready to walk, shop, eat, dance, and soak in the best of what Pai has to offer!

A decent night market stretches along the street where some bars and cafes are located. Found one nice Chinese food stall which has vegetarian/vegan noodles.

Good atmosphere, but essentially exists for the tourists. Almost every shop is either trying to sell food, laundry, scooters or a tour. Fun for a wander but not a particularly authentic Thai experience in itself.

Walking streets rarely get my 5 Stars unless they serve dishes that this Westerner finds appealing as fun as they may be otherwise. I found everything here I could imagine from beef pitas, to bbq corn, to cold stone ice cream, and on and on. The lights and vibe here are the best , busy yet easy to get what you want when you want !! Shopping galore , tees, bags, anything ! The night temperatures allow for longer stays and a strong European / American patronage here

So. Much. Great. Food. Don't eat at restaurants, this street has got you covered! Make sure to try the omelette cooked in a banana leaf over charcoal. More food tips for Thailand on YouTube: @hangrymatthias

A must come night market/ walking street in Pai!!! Lots of vegetarian and vegan food. All the food are very reasonable, some noodle only cost 10 baht and orange juice is only 20 baht, you may try their local dessert, which only cost 10 baht as well. It’s not a big market, you may spend 10-20 mins to walk. Highly recommended 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭👍👍👍

Laid-back vibe in the evening, good for eating out or sitting in a bar. Plenty of foodie choices, with a massage to finish off.

Compared to other cities, Pai still ranks as one of the most pleasant places to visit. The lack of tourists is visible but nevertheless there is a good atmosphere with most restaurants open and the walking street is so nice to be

Be sure to wander around here at the night market. There are loads of tasty things to try from the street food vendors and plenty of vegan options. Night market usually runs from 5/6pm-11pm

One of the best night market in Thailand, it is just the right amount of everything. There’s a stretch of halal food and those are great tasting. The crowds played apart too, most of them were just chilled ones not the rowdy ones, great ambience, when we visited it was drizzling which made the streets much more colourful. We will visit again if there’s any chances of us travelling north again, yes we agreed that this is not overrated but just the right thing. Some don’t prefer here but we could say everything here doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket yet, hopefully it stays like this forever. Pai, we love you!

Walking street is a peaceful ghost town during the day (which is also lovely) but at night it comes alive. The night market is open every night. During the off season I found it busier during the week than weekends. The vendors are friendly and chill —you might even find some drunken by the end of the night and give you a free meal (happened to me) Don’t forget to walk until the bamboo bridge and cross the river during sunset. It’s lovely. You can find good clothes deals and vegan, gluten free street foods too! My favorite stalls are the grilled pork lady, shampoo nachos, queens gyoza, Fah homemade chicken wrap, and fresh spring rolls! Yum. Oh! And the fried spicy squid stall on the corner (she also makes an excellent coconut smoothie !)

Great food... lots of junk to buy. Has a large variety of very tasty food. Bars for drinking. Mix bags of Thai and foreign folks. It's worth the time to go see. We enjoyed ourselves for a few hours. Agine guaranteed you will find something great to eat. Go hungry! Enjoy...

Very decent walking street / night market with plenty of food and drinks. Can’t go back home not stuffed to the brim. Prices are very good, certain fresh fruits like strawberries are sold here with the best price I have seen so far in the north of Thailand.

Pai walking street is nice! Lots of choices of foods -thai, lanna, shan and international-, souvenirs, clothes, drinks... if all cold white light would be gone it would be even better. Places look some much better with warm white. We ❤️ Pai.

Best walking street ever hands down. The array of street food, bars, cafes and small boutique shops makes for an evening’s adventure. Couple that little lot with the high energy, vibrant and unique class of people that frequent the place then you have yourself a perfect blend. It makes no wonder why people come here and forget to leave :)

The thing to do in Pai in the evening. Food is very cheap and super tasty. You have some restaurants if you prefer to sit down but in my opinion, grab a roti and stroll down the Pai walking street!
