180 Sanctuary is the best I could have asked for to fulfill my goals and successfully overcome my 12 years of addiction and trauma challenges . I would highly recommend this place because of the following: Tony the program director is very professional and caring with attention to detail and that gave me so much comfort throughout my 7 weeks stay. Prior to joining, they offered me a free clinical and nutrition evaluation and before I decided, Tony was very honest from the heart and advised me to come a week later as he believed I was not fully prepared to join and make the most of the program (he could have easily told me to join straight after my evaluation for other reasons such as business / money etc. but he never rushed me into my decision). Their program approach gives you a sense of comfort and motivation β€” Tony wants minimal pressure and maximum enjoyment to your program with a lot more freedom than rehabs with unnecessary restrictions. This is a results driven place with a strong clinical team and expertise that helped me successfully achieve the goals I had for going to rehab (living healthier, learning new skills, maintain consistency etc.). The staff are so friendly and fun to be around, they are always willing to support you at any given time. The facility and room is so beautiful, the scenery is really second to none. They have a max capacity of 12-16 clients with a large area so it is never too crowded and they have more care and attention towards you than you would expect. There is a variety of choices in their a la carte menu which you can order at the restaurant or even get it delivered to your room (extra pampering while you’re in rehab). If you are into gym or Muay Thai like me, 180 Sanctuary comes with amazing trainers with vast experience and can teach you so many things. Convenience stores (7-11, lotus etc.) and main street of Pai with variety of shops is only a 10 minute drive away. Excursions (once a week) include the funnest and most enjoyable activities I had not experienced in a while (zip line, mini golf, jungle hiking, beautiful waterfalls etc. that are all optional to join at your convenience).

I came to the Sanctuary expecting a peaceful, calm and serene luxury resort for healing. Most of the time, it is that! Beautiful resort and 99% of staff are lovely. But, I witnessed first hand 3 instances of the main boss yelling at the staff for up to 24 minutes. (no exaggeration, I have timestamps on my photos I was taking in the field) I left 3 days early, because this yelling and cursing was disturbing to me. The resort is gorgeous, but the main boss displays anger management issues regularly (3 times in 3 weeks) and I also witnessed him discuss other client's personal information casually in the cafeteria. Not cool. I went to 180 with trauma that I wanted to heal and I was successful. But, I left with new trauma caused by the hypocritical boss. Sad, I just wanted peace and serenity.

I may be revealing what my other fellow 180 clients say, but the feedback we discuss always centres around the same subject. 180 is like no other wellness and recovery centre in Asia. And often others say this is unlike others they have been too across the world. The sense of community, the bonds, the support staff, the specialist recovery team and Tony and Anya create are unique. And profoundly powerful when it comes to having the support you need for your recovery. I'm not an exception, but I can genuinely say that the opportunities for recovery, and constant care that help me with my difficult trauma, and family issues encountered whilst in recovery are surely not something any other facility could provide. Be diligent in your search for a wellness centre but know that this review is written to solidify 180 Sanctuary as one of the primary options you should consider.

180 Sanctuary is the best place to go to for mental health inpatient treatment. I would highly recommend this place because of the teams at 180 was very efficient at what they do. The clinical, operations, support team and fitness team goes all the way to help the client. They put in extra effort to help those who needs help. The environment at 180 Sanctuary is magical and beyond words, the nature surrounding this place gave me a sense of peace and contentment, allowing me to focused more on my treatment.

My experience at 180 Sanctuary was beyond my expectations. After researching several places in Thailand, I found the initial intake procedure to be personable, honest and straightforward. The treatment was a multi-layered approach that went well beyond talk therapy. The staff were kind and helpful. With a multitude of activities and resort style facilities, not to mention the mountain views, it was the perfect place to heal.

Tony and the team at Sanctuary 180 offer a program that comes, from knowledge, experience and most of all care for their clients. One thing that sets this place apart from many other centers is the focus, care and attention for aftercare post rehab which is vital for maintaining sobriety. Keep up the great work.

We sent one of our clients with mental health and PTSD to 180 Sanctuary in April 2022. We are amazed with their comprehensive treatment program and the experience of the clinical team. I must say Tony and Anya have put in tremendous effort to make our client felt safe and supported. As a professional in counselling, we would highly recommend 180 Sanctuary to those who needs help in trauma.

I can't recommend 180 enough. Tony, and his team go above and beyond in every way to help you on your recovery and genuinely want the best for you. Rooms/villas and facilities are superb and set in beautiful area just outside of Pai overlooking fields and mountains. Individual timetables to suit your particular needs were great and very helpful to ensure you get the most out of your time here. The client base during my time here (about 14 people) were all so kind, open and friendly. You felt like a real team and family of people who wanted to help each other. The fitness team here were exceptional. Exercise is essential to my wellbeing and at 180 they've got this covered! Runs, walks, cycling, fitness classes, yoga and of course Muay Thai! Special thanks to Mate, Chan and Doy! The clinical team/therapists were amazing. In particular, for myself, Xzarina. Without her my time here nor my progress wouldn't have been the same. She's an incredible person who I connected with and who really understood me. Our sessions together were fundamental and meant a great deal to me. I didn't know what to expect before coming here but this place is definitely different and special. Tony's approach really works and I couldn't have asked for more.

I was at 180 Sanctuary 2 months ago, to be honest I arrived at the facility not knowing much about what to expect but knowing that I need help. The most important thing that helped me was the professional assessment from a clinical psychologist prior to admissions with no obligation that addressed most of my concerns. Going through the period of depression and meaningless in life when i struggled with my crypto losses was not easy, but the team at 180 helped me through the worst period of my life. I cannot speak enough of the program here. I can say Tony may not be the soft speaking guy but he is definitely a gentle giant who cares for his clients. Seeing so many negative comments about him doesn't do 180,Tony, Anya and the team any justice. They definitely put their hearts into the work here. I have been to other rehab in Chiangmai, I can testify 180 is simply on a different level. The psychologists and the support team are well trained and knowledgeable. I didn't hesitate to leave a feedback when ask to. Highly recommended.

The environment there is amazing and serene. The 180 team was the stars of the rehab, everyone there is a professional and always trying their best in helping a client in anyway they could. My sister went there with clinical depression, and now she is a changed person! She is now able to go back to school to study psychology to help others whereas before she struggles personally with her previous school. I would like to thank 180 sanctuary team for their amazing efforts in always going out of their way to help their clients.

If you are struggling with C-PTSD, I highly recommend 180 Sanctuary to the facility to help you. Their retreat centre has been instrumental in helping my loved one regaining the confidence and overcoming her anxiety. There are many rehabs dealing with addiction but none are like 180 Sanctuary that specialises in dual diagnosis. I have not hesitate to give my recommendation after seeing my loved one returning home a changed person. Their facility is amazing as well, with great holistic program.

180 sanctuary is exactly what the name implies. It is a place of refuge, a chance to turn your life around when you feel that you have reached a point where you can no longer continue to live in the way in which you have been doing so. The beauty of the surrounding hills and stunning views are inspiration enough, but the sense of peace that they provide is nothing in comparison to the sense of acceptance and validation fostered by this healing community. The expertise of the treatment facilitators is in my personal opinion incomparable. I have been in treatment for a variety of mental health struggles including addiction, depression, severe anxiety, trauma, and self harming behaviours. Never before have I felt that they have been so comprehensively and effectively addressed. I honestly feel that I have made more progress in a matter of weeks at this sanctuary than in months at other residential programs. This is the first time that I have had the experience of wanting to remain in a location such as this for as long a period of time as possible, in order to continue to work on myself, rather than to return to the freedom of the wider world as soon as I had stabilised my mental and physical health. In addition to mental fortitude, true inner peace and healing from trauma, you will leave 180 with improved health, fitness, drive and hope for your future that I, although only part of the way through my stay here, have never before experienced nor would even have believed possible. This is a place of genuine and lasting healing. A place where you will finally and truly feel heard and seen. I cannot but recommend that you reach out to this program if you need help. 180 sanctuary's program can transform your life if and when you are ready.

I arrived at 180 sanctuary, located in the beautiful northern mountains of Thailand, in constant survival mode, unable to trust anyone’s intentions for me & generally feeling hopeless. 28 days ago, I never could’ve imagined such substantial growth was possible considering the lack of progress I made during almost 10 years in talking therapy. 180 provides the perfect setting for deep connection with yourself and surroundings. I’m so grateful to my therapists, Tony for EMDR & Aliyah for CBT, for their unconditional support and validation in my healing journey; as well as the trauma specialist, for the invaluable knowledge he shares on the cause and impact of trauma, as well as grounding and flashback management techniques. The holistic approach of 180 sanctuary has provided me with a sense of safety that I have never experienced in my life. I now realise that without safety, and trust with others, its almost impossible to connect with my emotions and accept help without suspicion. Being able to feel safe enough to fully experience my emotions without rejecting parts of myself has helped me to recognise my own toxic guilt and deprogram the core beliefs that were never mine to carry. Realising the importance of putting my own needs first has provided me with compassion for myself that I previously lacked and empowered me to stop pouring into cups that leave mine empty. My sleeping pattern has normalised, and quality of sleep has greatly improved since being at 180, which is a huge difference from being constantly running on empty. The sense of community I have felt in the daily process groups has been an essential part of my healing journey, allowing me to connect and relate with others on a deep level. The sense of acceptance I have felt in these groups encourages the discussion of subjects that may be seen as a taboo in the outside world, validating emotions that have caused feelings of shame in the past. I can’t thank the team at 180 enough for this life changing experience :)

It is one of the greatest place to work. I get to learn everyday so much from my boss and work colleagues. I feel 180 Sanctuary genuinely care for their clients, which motivates me as a psychologist to work with 180.
