The Hunza Valley is a mountainous valley, situated north/west of the Hunza River, at an elevation of around 2,500 m. The territory of Hunza is about 7,900 square km (3,100sq mi). Aliabad is the main town, while Baltit and Altit are popular tourist destination because of the spectacular scenery of the surrounding mountains. The people are cheerful and friendly, almost all speak Burushaski and in upper Hunza, they speak Wakhi. The miracle of the Hunzakuts longevity, supposedly resulting from their mostly vegetarian diet of cereals and fruits From Hunza valley, Panoramic views of Rakaposhi 7788m, Diran Peak 7266m, Spantik Peak 7027m, Ultar 7388 Lady Finger 6000m. Phander Valley in Ghizer District is one of the most scenic valleys with easy access both from Gilgit and Chitral. It takes 5 to 6 hours from Gilgit to reach Phander valley which is commonly called “Little Kashmir”. Phander Lake is one of the most famous tourist spots in the entire region. Phander valley was the breadbasket for the whole Northern Areas. The name of Ghizer comes from the name of a village ‘Ghizer’ that is situated in the vicinity of Phander. The deep blue lake in Phander offers a magnificent view and is basically the home of trout fish. Beutiful lake with variation of blue colour ☄☁🌬 It is formed because of gilgit river which flows besides it. Road to it is a bit difficult. View from top is an absolute beauty.Nice place to visit in hot season very cool place with water everywhere you see small beautiful island here its like Paradise I recommend you to visit dream island pander you get good food and camping area you get trout fish here very unique place It has good view from PTDC Motel.A beautiful and serene place. Slightly off the main Gilgit-Chitral road. Has a couple of reasonable places to stay in the area. Very quiet with noticeable silence. Please remember to clean after yourself when ever you visit these areas. Beautiful Pakistan 🇵🇰

I love 💞 this place very much.In every seasons you visit this villege.but summer days you all visit this place the beautiful lack, all side greenry. One of the outstanding features of the area is Phander Lake that is an important source of fresh water and trout fish. Phander Lake is situated in the Phander Village, in Koh-i-Ghizer, Gupis-Yasin District, the westernmost part of the Gilgit–Baltistan region and northernmost territory of Pakistan. Carry a blanket with you if you go in the winter.you see the all side white because of the 🌨️ snow fall.

Phander Valley is truly a paradise on earth, located in District Ghizer Of Gilgit Baltistan(Balawaristan. It’s on 4hour drive from Gilgit city. There are very beauty places you can experience on the way. People are too nice, simple and too welcoming. All the basic necessities are there. Undoubtedly Phander is going to be the biggest tourism hub in future.
