It's a very good place to visit the people are very friendly .Food and hotels are a bit expensive take take juices mineral water chocolates etc

First visit here, very very bumpy track, Place is high upto the clouds, amazing place, as the place is to high so it's little expensive.

What an amazing place to visit. If you realy want to enjoy the beauty of this valley, dont hire a jeep use your feet. It has 2 advantages 1. U will enjoy the real beauty of this place 2. U will feel healthy due to neat and clean enviroment. Request, take an extra waste bag with you and bring back the garbage and trash with you to dispose it off accordingly.

Edit: This place, with everyday gone, has become closer to my heart since my visit there, in Sept 2019. The memories wont fade away easily. Believe me this place is no less than a patch of heaven on earth, the way to it is harsh without a doubt but once you are there, you will forget every harsh bit of that journey as heavenly scenes will be waiting there, to bless your soul. I have never seen anything like this in my life, and believe it, the hype is real.

Visited all alone on my Suzuki Khyber which was modifier for camping. Bed and Kitchen in my car. This place is Fantastic. Car can go only up to mid may. Then by a local 4x4 Jeep only.

You can also, take a horse if you are not a fan of trekking. Trekking is not at all difficult but it's quite long and breathing is little difficult because of the high altitude. Once you reach Makra Base, away from all the tea stalls and crowd. You'll truly experience it's beauty. Trekking to the top of Makra takes approximately 4 hours and on a clear day you can see Azad Kashmir from the Makra Top !
