Shounter Valley and shounter lake which also called SPOON LAKE is situtaed at shounter Valley. Main Attractions of Shounter Valleys are 1-Chitta Katha Lake 2-Spoon Lake 3-Hari Parbat 4-Shounter Water Fall 5-SarWaliTop (Highest Peat of AJK) There is camping site also available for tourist over all beautiful place with its original condition not destructive so far by the tourist. There is Track available for trekking lover from there they reach ASTORE from Shounter.

The lake itself may not be as spectacular ss some of the other lakes in the region but the Shounter Valley is off the beaten track which makes it exciting. The scenery is awesome and the images stays with you. Strongly recommended.

Shounter Lake, a scenic lake located in Shounter Valley, a sub valley of Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan at 3100 elevation. The lake is fed by the surrounding mountains glacial waters and accessible from Kel by a jeepable track.
