We visited this hidden gem as a large group on a hen weekend. From the get go the staff were absolutely fantastic, in particular Nathalie on the front desk. The rooms are spacious, contemporary and very clean. Throughout the hotel, the decoration is stunning with lots of tasteful nods to the history of the building. The rooftop pool is the cherry on the cake as we partied up there in the sunshine with other groups staying at the hotel. They have a beautiful, cool courtyard where you can buy an amazing brunch menu from the cafe. I would highly recommend the food on this particular menu as it’s super tasty and excellent value for money. All in all this has to be one of the best inner city hotels I’ve ever stayed at and I would absolutely recommend it to others.

If you review comments before booking it will be pleasant experience - basic room is indeed small yet very nice and clean. Swimming pool is not much bigger but still lovely addition to your stay. Inside terrace is beautiful just like all of the hotel - if you want calm and pretty stay this hotel is perfect.

What a pity the towel were so rough and warn out. Lack of shampoo, conditioner etc, for a four star hotel very low standards in regards to bathroom. Lack of security in front desk. Not interested in making extra service to clents. Breakfast a total rip off, go to any nearby bar and you will pay less and better quality. Not worth the money, better service in 3 star hotel in magaluf.

Lovely hotel centrally located. Very easy to get to if you are taking the airport bus A1. The hotel is walking distance to most of the attractions in old town, very convenient. There are also a lot of supermarkets nearby for your needs. The hotel also has their own refillable water station and the water is ice cold and tastes much better than store bought mineral water!! Staff is super friendly and professional and does their utmost to help you with your needs. Possible to store luggage if you arrive early, or leave late. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed super comfortable! It is possible to rent bikes from the hotel. Only costs 10€/day, not the best bikes but they get the job done. You have to pay cash though! Can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights to see Palma before going elsewhere on Mallorca. Our arrival was greeted by the friendliest receptionist and a glass of cava, which was unexpected but very welcome. The room was clean and modern and I personally really liked the decoration of the hotel. The roof terrace is lovely feature. Location-wise, although not in the central old town, everything is within easy walking distance from the hotel. The reception staff, especially the person during the morning, helped us loads with local information and travel tips - even for the place we were going after Palma. It makes an already good hotel even more memorable and we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely small modern hotel.Walking distance to centre of Palma. Room and communal areas spotlessly clean. Enjoyed relaxing on roof terrace. Great continental breakfasts. Very friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend.

Very cosy and clean hotel with lovely and light rooms. The staff was kind, and the breakfast was good - especially the coffee. On the roof there’s a tiny pool but the size is OK if you just need to cool down in the sun. Though there could have been a shower up there, too. On the ground floor there’s a little gym. I could have used a couple of more dumbbells but it was OK and very clean.

A/C worked, fast WiFi, new furniture, good location. Make sure to rent a bicycle from the hotel for 10€ / day and explore the city (recommended on a Sunday since on weekdays the city is too busy) It looses a star because if you actually come to use the gym it’s not realistic. The heaviest dumbbell is 10kg and the heaviest kettlebell 20kg… not really something you can work with. Also the doors aren’t soundproof, but it didn’t bother us since there isn’t going on much on the hall. Still would recommend. Good hotel.

Lovely little boutique hotel in a residential area but within walking distance to the old town and cathedral. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and the shower fantastic. Lovely breakfast. I couldn't fault it.

The hotel is really nice! The rooms are new and well furnished. 24 hour reception is available as I arrived really late. Location quite close to the center of La Palma! The price for 2 nights was reasonable

Absolutely loved this hotel. Exceeded expectations and truly I have nothing bad to say! Luisa was the concierge and she was phenomenal. Room was more roomier than your average European hotel room. We stayed during the off season so the pool was closed, but we still enjoyed the rooftop! The cafe downstairs had the best breakfast croissants!! Also did not know I had to reserve the parking beforehand, so if you need parking make sure to do so because they have limited spaces.

Excellent staff and warm welcome with a glass of Cava at arrival . We stayed 4 nights- 5 days and would definitely stay here again! The staff at the reception were so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and modern with nice comfortable beds. Door is a little thin and you could hear when people talk/walk in the hallway at night getting back to their rooms but luckily the guests are respectful so no big disturbance. Cool small rooftop terrace, perfect to enjoy a drink or sit in the sun for a while (it was spring). The hotel Is walking distance to the center. Breakfast at the downstairs bar is quite the bargain and very good. The ”menu del dia” as well.Thank you!

Really nice, new hotel in Palma. For the price it was a fantastic option, with the beach and city centre both a walkable distance away. The room was clean, large and comfortable, with a modern walk-in shower which always helps. The pool terrace was a nice touch and a great place to spend the morning or early evening, even if the pool itself is smaller than it looks on the photos! Breakfast was fine, some good local options even if I found the coffee to be a bit average. Overall, when I come back to Palma, this will be where I look for a room first. It also helps that the staff were superb - very welcoming and helpful.

A very nice hotel with a good location close to city center and bus stops connecting with airport and main beaches. I suggest to include the breakfast at your stay, as it's really good quality, no plentiful though. The staff is also pretty attentive and cordial. As a downside I would say that the bed and pillows were not very comfy, and the room rather small. We enjoyed our 3 nights stay, and considering the prices of the area I would recommend this hotel. PS: it has a restaurant and a tiny pool which are awesome to finalize the day ;)

From check in to check out this property was much more then I expected. Kind, courteous and knowledgeable staff. A big clean, comfortable room and bathroom. Quiet peaceful sleep and an INCREDIBLE breakfast. You won't go wrong staying here. I'd recommend to my friends and family.

Great little hotel. We arrived at 1am after our flights being delayed and the man at reception was so helpful. Clean and great location. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing hotel. Rooms are so clean and nice, staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The hotel bar is amazing, really good breakfast. Location is ideal to get to other places and it's on a small distance walk to the old city.

The receptionist welcomed us with a glass of cava and was extremely personable. The hotel is clean and modern and my room was spacious with a lovely shower. Soundproofing could be better. The rooftop terrace and plunge pool is beautiful and the atmosphere was fantastic on Saturday night when some jazzy/soul vinyl was being played. The location is away from the main tourist area of the old town but still fine and bus stop nearby for Santa Catalina and Cala Major. The breakfast was very tasty but choice is a little limited and it is a la carte rather than a buffet. We had an issue with the process for reusable water bottles, which appears unclear to the staff and is not explained to guests. I am very much in favour of stopping plastic use but having to go back up to my room at check out to retrieve an empty water bottle and basically being suspected of trying to steal it is a little irritating and this needs to be ironed out.

Good position in town, close to centre but not too busy area. All staff extremely charming and helpful, good breakfast and food overall, nice rooms. Pool and seating area on top roof really nice to relax and take a dip while planning the next day or evening. Nice inexpensive tapas places around, all very friendly and lively. Area with locals rather than tourists which gives it a nice touch of authenticity. Highly recommended and with pleasure. Will be back, I hope...

Rooms are very nice, and there is a nice pool on the top. Service is amazing. Breakfast is from a little bar downstairs: it’s good and they have a lot of options. Near a lot of cute stores. A little bit far from the center (15/20 minute walk) but worth it!

I’m t was a lovely hotel and very welcoming. The breakfast was really good and the roof top terrace was a hidden gem. It was not clear when we booked that the pool would be shut and although it was out of season the pool was one of the reasons we chose it.

Wow wow what a lovely hotel, we were a group of 12 celebrating a friends birthday. On our arrival we were made so welcome by Natalie, handed passports over and were sat down in courtyard with a complimentary glass of cava whilst she checked us in. Our arrival was early and 4 out of 6 rooms were released with the other 2 shortly after, so early. Staff were lovely and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Drinks and food prices very reasonable. Rooms lovely fresh and clean. Breakfast was great value and prepared freshly from your choice at €10. Great location 15 min pleasant walk to centre. Will definitely be returning.

I spent a week at this lovely hotel. Breakfast and lunch/dinner set menu was amazing with excellent price. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Natalie and Louisa. They have offer many suggestions and advised me where to enjoy Mallorca. Fantastic tips with tapas as well. Very happy with this property!

Fantastic hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, great location. Small but perfect roof terrace. Delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend. The air con is super. Quiet, easy to use, no waking up to a headache! Very comfy beds, fridge in the room, powerful shower, gym if you have the energy ….you have all you need to relax after days of exploring beautiful Palma.

We loved our stay here at the Hotel, easy access to the city center and you could spend the whole day at the Hotel too without getting bored. For people who need to work on holidays amazing! Especially Toni was very helpful and kind open for any extra wishes from me. Would definitely come again

Excellent staff and warm welcome with a glass of champagne. We stayed 3 nights-4 days and would definitely stay here again! The blonde woman at the reception in the morning/day was incredible! 50/10! I think her name was Natalie. So helpful, friendly and funny! We had a full day of unlikely activities/visits and food thanks specifically to her. She explained all her favorite things about the city with such detail and recommended her favorite spots and we were not disappointed! The room was clean and modern with a nice big comfortable bed. Door is a little thin and you could hear when people talk/walk in the hallway at night getting back to their rooms but luckily the guests are respectful so no big disturbance. Cool small rooftop pool to end the day if you don’t make it to the beach, perfect to enjoy a drink. The hotel Is walking distance to the center. Breakfast at the downstairs bar is quite the bargain for 9€ and very good. We stayed at several different hotels throughout the island but nothing compared to this one. Again, the staff were the best and really made the difference. Thank you

Newly renovated hotel with beautiful rooms. Staff was nice and accommodating , breakfast and dinner were delicious. Good coffee. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room didn’t work, so we had 25-27C in the room.

We had a great four night stay here . The staff are excellent very friendly and helpful with great customer service. The hotel is spotless. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent quality served by very friendly staff. I look forward to a return visit and I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for a great stay .

Really nice place in the heart of Palma. All the city highlights are within a walking distance. The rooms are nice and clean. Bathroom is actually bigger than it seems on the pictures. Breakfast is delicious. Restaurant Boira offers great menu for very reasonable prices. We definitely recommend to eat there. The pool is quiet small but good enough to cool down on the rooftop with a view. Staff is lovely and helpful. We will be back again.

I highly recommend this hotel, it’s a short walk away from the city center. Our room/bathroom was clean & roomy. Staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The terrance had a nice view of the neighborhood yet it still has privacy for a nice dip in the pool. The hotel/dining areas have really decorations and is clean.

We had a bad experience in this hotel. The only good thing is the friendly staff ( reception & night shift guys). I think this hotel should be 3 stars at best- I never saw a 4 stars hotel with NO AMENITIES IN THE ROOM!! THEY EVEN DONT PROVIDE A KETTLE FOR COFFEE OR TEA IN THE ROOM. We even asked for a kettle and the response was “well we dont have 45 kettles to give one to every room”. We had food poisoning in Palma and couldn’t find a hot cup of tea at night in the hotel because of that. Also- the rooms seem to be separated in thin cement walls. YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR THE WATER FROM YOU NEIGHBOURS ROOM WHEN THEY FLUSH THEIR TOILET. The location is also bad- the hotel is located in a weird and really smelly area (smells like a public bathroom) and the walk to town is not very easy. Really not recommended.

I've had a nice time staying here. The rooms are really nice, and the subtle touches of traditionalism with modernity are really nice. It's one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The rooftop pool is great to cool off in, and there's some nice seating up there as well. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good, however they rotate their food options weekly, which means the food gets boring pretty quickly. The doors don't have noise blockers on them, so you can hear people in the hallway, however, it was not disruptive during the night. The location is convenient, although the neighborhood is fairly grim, and it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the nicer downtown neighborhood, not crazy far, but definitely feels far in the summer heat. The AC in the rooms worked great. The staff have been very friendly as well. Overall, I'd recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel in the perfect location. Staff were really friendly. We stayed 4 nights here but our flight was at 11pm and they let us keep our luggage here after check-out which was very much appreciated. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely, relaxed, yet very well run hotel. Very welcoming. Spacious and very clean room with very comfotable bed. Staff exceptional. Breakfast superb. No faults here!

Nice hotel in a beautiful building, about a 10 minutes walk away from the old town. Rooms are stylish, modern and clean with a comfortable bed. The only issue I had was with the air conditioning, which didn’t cool properly but the hotel helped me instantly. Breakfast was not big, but delicious. A good extra in the room would be a water boiler.

We booked Nou Balares as as part of a Jet2 City Break. This hotel is absolutely superb, it is well located, and immaculately clean and tidy, but one of the best things are the staff. A special ‘thank you’ goes out to reception who went out of their way to provide us with information on everything from where to find a pharmacy on New Year’s Day, to opening the lift on New Year’s Eve, so we could all go on the roof and watch the fireworks. Breakfast, though a slightly limited menu, was delicious and freshly cooked every time. The small courtyard is a lovely sheltered place to have coffee and a snack and the food in the restaurant very tasty at reasonable cost. An excellent powerful shower and everything you need, in your room with nothing you don’t need. The hotel represents excellent value for money, particularly if you are budget conscious. 10 out of 10 !

Wonderful hotel - almost too good to be true for the price. Beautiful building and room, friendly and helpful staff, extremely clean and comfortable, fantastic breakfast at a low price. Not the most scenic location but very walkable to the center of town and lots of activities/restaurants.

Back from a few nights stay in this fantastic hotel. The great experience started at check in with the extremely friendly staff. The room was comfortable and a great free breakfast. Just a short stroll from the centre in this great value for money hotel.

Stayed three nights at this delightful hotel . We were offered a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival and were given a very warm welcome from Louisa and her colleagues at reception. Our twin bedded room was clean, comfortable and quiet with excellent shower facilities and air conditioning. The breakfasts were appetising and substantial. We arrived on a Sunday and so the restaurant was not open for an evening meal but we were able to walk to a nearby bar to get something to eat . On Tuesday the restaurant re opened for evening meals and we were not disappointed. The rooftop terrace had plenty of sun loungers and a small plunge pool . We didn’t realise we could have chosen to eat in the small courtyard but it didn’t matter. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay at Nou Baleares and would definitely recommend to others.

We had a great stay at the Nou Baleares. The location of the hotel makes it easy to walk into old Town Palma, where we saw the beautiful Christmas lights. The service at the hotel was excellent and we were give both glass of champagne upon our arrival and a bottle of water for our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we will definitely stay there again when we come back into Palma.
