Pop's is only a couple of minutes from my house and we've been going there for the longest time. Everything is always so delicious. This time we got the breaded steak sandwich with mozzarella cheese, sweet peppers and red sauce and it was sooooo good. We usually get their hot dog with fries and we like grilled onions and mustard on our hot dogs just like how Maxwell Street does it. It comes with fries and it's always delicious too. Tried their fried jumbo shrimps tonight and that also did not disappoint. Their shakes are fantastic and it's always busy. This is our go to hot dog place when we crave some delicious American food.

Really like this place the food is great, would definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't already. The people that work here are friendly and are quick at getting your order out, not like other places where you see people just standing around. The lobby was clean and very inviting.

If you want good take out food you can't go wrong with Pops. The food is good and the price is reasonable. Unfortunatly there is no place inside to eat. They do however have a patio in front with about 5 tables with umbrellas.

So a friend recommended this place because I was in the area. Prices are good. Place is super clean. I sat outdoors tables were clean. Super friendly and extremely well trained staff. They have orders taken and ready. Well the fries were absolutely perfect think cut well fried. In other words not under or over cooked. I ordered the chicken pita. Above average, grilled chicken, hot pita, fresh lettuce. I will definitely go back.

My first time ordering here was a let down, especially since I found hair in my food. That is a big turn off for me. But the girls decided to order from here again so I gave it another try, the food was OK. A bit pricey definitely not one of our go to places

There isn't a bad thing I can say about Pop's. Everything I've tasted has been really good, better than similar fare at other places. Special shout out to their seasoned fries: they are a step up from fries at any other place. I also love their breaded steak sandwich. PS. I do wish you offered a daily special like the Lockport location does. That would be a nice perk!

I only gave a star to leave my review I come here often and enjoy the food and service I ordered delivery from pops website got the #3 with extra meat. There was no extra meat and the meat was hard like jerky and loaded with onions I called the store talked to Jay who said he was a manager and nothing could be done he passed the phone to Mariana who said she's the manager and has worked here for 8yrs and that the owner Kasey R, passed her the phone bcuz she didn't want to handle the situation she said they couldn't replace my order I need to call doordash for a refund and became very rude and hung up on me I called back and she said she didn't want to talk to me I told her how I was going to review this and she said she will say I got loud with her and the manager will believe her before me.

Great little fast food place with good quality food. They have awesome burgers! Thoroughly enjoyed mine!

Had the 2 Hot Dogs & Fries. Fresh & Hot. The shoe string fries are some of the best Ive had. I never likes thick fries. I saw a post about the breaded steak, Def gonna try it. Keep up the good work, Pops

Man, I got two chili cheese dogs with everything on them they both came with fries. They tasted so good, definitely, all beef hot dogs can't go wrong there. Is a great cheat meal. Me and my wife enjoyed our meal on the patio in the Sun it was very clean area. We would definitely end up going back there. The staff was awesome also.

I always go to this location for comfort food. Their seasoned fries are one if the best kind fast food fries. They are crispy, yet soft in the middle with perfect seasoning. They are always fresh and warm and never arrive soggy like some other fast food fries. I will say their regular fries are nothing special. There's a pot of food varieties, so everyone can find something they like. I personally enjoy the variety of soups they offer and also the different milkshake flavors they create. However, this location is pretty small with a long wait. Inside there are no chair to sit in or dining, so you have to stand while waiting for your order, which isn't that bad considering you might need a little exercise boost to digest all those calories. I've had most things on the menu except the Italian beef and some of the hamburger/cheeseburger dishes, but have had no complaints besides the long wait and no seating. Pretty nice place for the price!

I have tried getting cheese dogs from here. Each time I have gone there, the hot dogs are lukewarm, at best. The last time I ordered a cheese dog, I had to throw it away because it wasn’t even cook. It was actually cold. I have gone there several times, hoping to get hot food. This last time I went, proved they are over rated and can’t even get a hot dog right. Will not waste my money, again.

Fond memories of this place from when I was a kid. Ordered a couple dogs and the 6” sub sandwich. The dogs were great and I was happy with those as well as the fries, but my god.. are we calling this a sub sandwich? Is it even a sandwich? Lettuce and bread might be a better description. One piece of ham and two pieces of salami? Come on now. Thank god I ordered other food and wasn’t left hungry!

This was supposed to be a hoagie/sub from Pop’s Italian Beef & Sausage in the Palos Hills area, Illinois. This is not a hoagie or a sub sandwich. When I called the store, the wait staff and GM desided that arguing was the best way to handle a customer complaint. The GM was more concerned with talking about which concerts they were going to see and who was flying into Chicago today, instead of managing her staff and customers. Pop’s has be around for decades, and the quality of the customer service is now deplorable. The staff was argumentative and having personal and kind of inappropriate conversations in front of customers. I won’t be ordering anything from Pop’s ever again. I would rather give my hard earned money to a different family owned restaurant that actually appreciates their customers

I went to order a burger with no tomato or dairy products on it or near it because I am highly allergic. The person that toke my order said that she will tell the cooks about the allergy. But I got a burger with tomatoes and ketchup even though I said I am allergic. If I wouldn’t have looked at what was in it I could have ended up in the hospital because of it. On top of that they are really slow at making the orders and they roll there when wanting to make sure there is no tomatoe products in it

Ordered the chicken on a pita...SO GOOD! Might be my favorite sandwich now. Fries were hot and delicious. As for atmosphere we ate in the car..what could be better! Love Pops!

Eat at Pops often. The fries were greasy and limp, and the hotdogs were put together poorly at this location. We usually frequent the Mokena location, which is clean ,food fresh and nice eat in atmosphere.

Was told this was a staple to Palos heights residents over the years. Had to try it. Was not disappointed. Ordered Polish dog with everything and hot dog with everything and those came with thin fries rolled up together in a wrapper. Very tasty, as most Chicago hot dogs and Polish dogs are. Staff was very friendly and they seem to have an efficient system for taking counter orders. This is not a sit-down restaurant. Though there are a few outside picnic tables to enjoy during good weather. For a first-timer it was a bit chaotic entering the restaurant and It was not clear where the line to order was. There were at least 10 people standing along the back window, but we realized they were holding receipts so had already placed their orders and were waiting. Would certainly order again if ever in the area.

You will definitely get your money's worth. They are generous beef sandwiches, their gyros and sauce us also a good option. You can't go wrong with a burger, fries are also very good. It's my go to beef, burger, and gyro joint.

I'm sorry, I paid $4.79 for an order of fried mushrooms, and the bag was less than halfway filled? Very disappointed on that... Fries are still a1 though.

They are very nice people thst worked there but twice they screw up my order! When my gf called back they asked me if i wanted to come back i said no bc im not wasting my gas just give me credit! Now i had find something else to eat now!

The best compliment a restaurant can get is that the food is consistent. The food at this Pop’s is consistently good and always fresh and hot. The variety of menu allows for plenty of choices from burgers to dogs to gyros to beef to salads and sandwiches. Definitely a top spot

Always satisfied with their food. Try the meatball, or combo. No extra charge for sweet peppers and red sauce at no extra charge. Don't forget to buy the kids and your woman a soft serve ice cream 🍦. One of my all time favorite 😍😋

I have been a customer since this place opened. The food quality is always excellent and value is awesome. The very best of all the Pop's! I love their beefs, combos, hotdogs and fries. The chicken is very good as are the gyros and burgers. You cannot go wrong here.

Hot dogs were great! Fries not as good as Portillo's.

Better quality than McDonald's but not portillos caliber for beef, dogs, burgers etc. Got a triple cheeseburger and it was tasty! Their fries are ginormous portions, so beware of that. Overall decent fare, just not my personal favorite. (Edited review based on feedback from Pops)

Our local go to for great Chicago food. So many friendly faces working here, they're quick and the food is excellent. The prices are perfect for the value of what you get. They will have our business for a long time like they have already.

John is my special needs guy, he’s very particular about what he’ll eat, and when he finds something he will eat…. that’s ALL he will eat. He’s been eating Pop’s every day for a couple months now. A double cheeseburger plain and a small fry- the order never changes. If we don’t get him Pop’s, he doesn’t get mad or complain and he won’t ask for something else, he simply will not eat that day. Lord knows, Mama’s not letting her baby boy be hungry, so off to Pop’s we go. Every. Single. Day. The employees all know us, but Lisa, she’s our girl. She goes the extra mile and she’s always smiling. She knows about John and why we are there- for the same order- every single day. Anyway, when we were there today to pick up our double cheeseburger plain and small fry, Lisa put together a package for John. She wanted to make sure he had a meal to eat on Thanksgiving. She packed up all the supplies to cook his double cheeseburger and fries at home. The frozen patties, cheese, bun and fries. Everything he needs. Thanks to Lisa, John is all set to enjoy his Thanksgiving day. How cool is she?!

Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and clean as a whistle. The beef was to die for with the fresh slice hot peppers and my wife's Italian sausage with hot Gardiner was out of this world. And it was no fluke, went to another new location on Jefferson (I believe) and it had even more options and even more delicious.

This is by far the worst food I’ve ever had the burgers where blend, mushrooms were soggy and they also forgot to add my chili bowl that I paid for through Uber eats and when I called the restaurant I was told they can’t do anything about it, not even a sorry do not go here.!!! To the owner you should really get to know how your employees run your business they take no accountability for their mistakes…

This was my first visit to this location and it was also the best. I ordered a gyro sauce on the side. Husband ordered a cheeseburger and a diet soda. The food was good and the service was better. He was helped to the car by an associate when they noticed he was going to have some trouble. It was greatly appreciated. I will eat at Pops again, but probably only this location or others we haven't tried yet

Fantastic Italian beefs! Loved the peppers too, better than the other main chain competitors because of taste and portion size. This was my first time coming , i will be back when I am near you again.

We were in and out in less than 5 minutes, and it was busy! There are so many awesome employees working quickly to ensure no one has to wait. This was our first time trying Pop's and the food was AMAZING! I love the beef, seasoned fries, and cheese curds. Even their ice cream is outstanding. It's refreshing to have a restaurant so close that delivers quality and great customer service.

Wish they had a place like Pop's in Arizona. Don't say, "well there's Portillo's there". Portillo's quality and consistency has diminished since they sold out to corporate.

I don’t think I can explain how great the food is here, but even more so, how fast and accurate their service is!! There’s a ton of Pops locations, but this place gets the order right every time and you get your food faster than a coffee from Dunkin Donuts!!
