The food is delicious and the seafood is reasonably priced. Especially the salted egg fried squid is very delicious! Service is good and friendly. At that time, the weather was hot, and the waiter moved a fan for us. Nice！

Nice setting and ambience but dishes are okay. Probably one of the better setup seafood restaurants on cenang beach strip and fresh as it gets busy. However, the food was nothing great but we may have ordered wrongly (recommended) as it’s heavily doused in sauces. Would come back and try other less “saucy” dishes. Best dish we had was the whole fish in claypot. Service is okay and prices is not the cheapest as it’s at the tourist spot.

Found this amazing restaurant through Google suggestions, its halal as well. Their best signature Mushroom Soup Bread is my favorite of all! Every little details such as love shape of the bread itself, the shape of every plate of the rice, with all their heart from the kitchen staffs i believe. Ordered Tiger Prawn Cream Cheese, very fresh and texture is firm and tasty. And not forgetten Brocolli Beancurd and Xiao Bai Cai together with 2drinks as this is dinner for 2. Warm welcomed by their staffs, serving the best service compare to other similar restaurant nearby. Clean restaurant, with great atmosphere and environment, worth every penny! Will come again for the future visit to Langkawi 💕

Excellent restaurant. Ordered chefs recommend Garlic Butter prawn and Golden Salted Egg Yolk Crab along with Black garlic chicken and salted pepper squid. All items were awesome, mouthwatering. Staffs are very welcoming and well behaved. Ambiance is excellent at evening. Must recommended. 👍👍👍

We had dinner here during our last night on the island. We had driven past this spot on the previous evening and the place looked respectable, clean and we read online that the food was good and not too pricey. The food was indeed delicious and the service was prompt and efficient. There was a minor snafu when they brought us a dish which we did not order. Apparently, it was meant for another table and that was quickly resolved. We were hungry by the time the plain rice was served and we couldn't wait for the dishes to arrive. There was a decent crowd during dinner time and the tanks in front of the restaurant with live sea creatures inside them seemed to be the main factor in drawing people into the restaurant. I live the decor and the furniture. The table was huge and accommodated all our dishes well. The claypot fishnwe had was so good - we even polished of the delicious gravy. It was certainly a good way to end our short vacay on the island this time around.

This is our second time at Putumayo !! We ordered sizzling sesame prawn, Hong Kong ka Ilan and pumpkin bean curd. Kailan dish is must try for me..Everything else was super yummy too. Highly recommend if you’re in pantai cenang .

Had dinner 10 years ago for the first time (and other times ) and not disappointed after all those years. Great food (yummy fish, garlic butter prawns, salt and pepper squid....) all served nicely and hot. Staff very attentive and friendly. A place not to be missed for dinner 😋

It's an interesting blend of chinese/ Western food blend, catering to the wide cultural clientele they serve. To manage expectations I would say it is localised, Langkawi Chinese flavours. For example the sweet and sour chicken has the chicken marinated in curry powder and then fried before having the sweet and sour sauce poured on. The best dish we had was the broccoli tofu. Really tasteful. I would prefer the salt and pepper squid not to have the red pepper powder as its more reminiscent of Taiwanese Street food. The service is fantastic. Overall its a place I wouldn't hesitate to return.

We wanted to go back OrchidRia restaurant, only to realise it has close down. We had no other choice, came to this place. Food portion is super duper small. We were told the portion going to be small to server 3-4 pax. All the portion is only a size of my palm except for fish and crab. The portion is only for 2 pax. Still the fish (1.05kg - we don’t think it’s that big) & 2 super small crab (800g with no flesh) are so small. We were so shock. Price is super steep. Taste is ok only, nothing to wow. We were attracted by the outlook of the restaurant, went in to only get ‘chop’.

All of our food we ordered was just perfect! The fish is highly recommend to have, chilli crab is just awesome and the tofu can makes you feel like you’re alive. The service is amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful. Will come back for good food

Impressive. The service was excellent. The food was very delicious. Worth the price we paid. We had the lobster, prawns and calamari rings. The lobster was succulent. We were fortunate to have the lobster peeled and deshelled for us. Was definitely impressed and will come back again! If the parking bothers you, there is a ?Cenang Mall nearby -> can park there to avoid evening parking tickets ;)

Came here for dinner, very busy restaurant. All dishes were tasty but the Taiwan clay pot chicken was not authentic. Prawn Tom yum soup has big and fresh prawns in it but little bit too salty for us. Kailan was interesting, the leaves were cut skinny and deep fried. They also accept E wallet, very convenient.

Had a satisfying dinner here today. The food was delicious and the service is anazing. The food came within 10-15 mins from the time we ordered. The seafood that we ordered, fried squid and tomyam king prawn were fresh. I find that the size of the serving is pretty reasonable, which is contrary to the reviews I’ve seen. We ordered 4 dishes for 3 pax and the total is approximately RM140 for one kangkung, fried squid, tomyam king prawn and homemade pumpkin bean curd. Overall, would highly recommend this place to ppl who would like to have seafood!

Delicious bread of soup. Sizzling prawn, hotpot fish and crabs. However we were not warned for their crabs was so tiny this time compared to the last. Service was great. Attentive staff always ready for help.

We visited two days back and it was the time of closing they close 11:30 PM so we decided to return back to try their lobster. It’s shown on their front door and to be honest it intimidated us to try So today we came earlier the place Wass a little bit busy. They offered us a table inside the restaurant, but was a little bit hot. We ask them to change to outside table where the weather is bearable, and they agree even they did distributed the cluttery. we ordered two Australian lobsters by the way it’s too much expensive each cost around 600 ringgit they made one with garlic butter and the other with cheese. We ordered also kind of fish cooked with steam. It was very tender and we ordered tiger Brown part of them with garlic butter and the other cooked with the Indonesian way, and it was the best ever dish. The place is nice. The service is amazing especially our waiter was very nice. His name is Mr. Shan. He advised us with the dishes that suit our middle eastern taste.. In general, I would experience was very nice despite the huge amount of money we paid 1890 RM but it deserved to try.

Food was decent. Very small portion in our opinion but was well cooked. Our favorites were the salted egg fried squid and their chili fried king prawns. Pumpkin beancurd was well cooked but bland. Service is good and friendly.

It’s a pricey place and the food is quite savoury. My only complaint is that the staff member tried to confuse us when h we said the crab was a female ( they have round shaped tums) while we got served a male one ( triangular tum shape). All the crabs were male so no caviar there :D the food is good and you should try it if it matches your budget.

One of the best places we went to whilst in Langkawi. The food was delicious and fresh . You could choose the fish or seafood from tanks and have it cooked for you . All the staff were lovely especially M'd Abesh who was so helpful and always smiling. There was a huge choice of food so there's something for everyone. Highly recommend you eat here.

We, two families with kids, recently have visited Putumayo Restaurant, the one located at Palau Lankawi Jalan, Pantai Cenang, Langkawi. It was a great experience. This restaurant is well-known for its Asian and Chinese seafood dishes, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere suitable for both romantic evenings and larger group gatherings. The seafood, such as Putumayo ocean fish, garlic butter tiger prawn, calamari with curry leaves, duck with mango, and prawn crackers, was exceptionally fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The restaurant staff were attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations for both food, beer and wine, which greatly enhanced our dining experience. This is definitely the worth to try seafood experience on the island. Every dish we ordered is yummy and fresh. The staff here are friendly and helpful. We will come back again.

Nice place with nice atmosphere. Food is also good and tasty. The service is the best part of the place. Everyone is super friendly and very quick. We arrived and they found us a spot in one minute. After that, they arranged all our dishes in less than 15 minutes. I will probably come back

Great place and friendly staff. Really loved the mushroom soup and the beef was also delishious! Prices are totally fine, the height of the bill really depends on what you order so works out fine for everyone. Would visit again!

One of the best Chinese seafood restaurant located at Cenang beach of Langkawi. Foods quite flavorful. However the kitchen looks exactly like a wet market. If you want to run a good restaurant with nice ambience that charges a higher price; please make sure your kitchen are clean and dry on the kitchen floor.

This food was so good!!!! We had rice, butter chicken, black bean beaf, Hong Kong style veg and spring rolls. Was so tasty. Definitely try the butter chicken was the star of the show. Staff were so friendly.

We know this is a tourist trap but we still came as the exterior looks pretty and nice. Interior - clean toilets (most important) - clean surrounding but there were flies and we got bitten while waiting for food. - no air-conditioning, it felt like we were in a oven. This affected our mood. - best to sit alfresco Atmosphere - pretty - great for couples and small family. Wouldn't recommend big groups of more than 10 pax - if only they have strong ventilation. Food - just came for seafood. - is definitely fresh for the lobster and fish. The prawn a bit stale though. - rest of the dishes are normal to me, just like any other Chinese restaurant Service - the lady who serve us make us feel welcome - dishes she recommended are generally good and acceptable. - many servers to help change plates. Quite prompt service. But too bad, it will just be a one off visit for me as there are much cheaper alternatives around. But I do highly recommend if you are a first timer in langkawi.

It wasnt bad they have anything to everything here except pork. I had the service peeled our lobster and everything was out which is fantastic. Both fried rice was a tad salty. Ocean fish was nice as well. It was pretty packed over the weekend too
