SECURITY ALERT!! BE CAREFUL!! We stayed in the resort from 02 Oct to 04 Oct. On 03 Oct night, our handbag containing money and passports was STOLEN from Room no 337!! I haven’t got enough support from the staffs...they were reluctant and avoiding. Finally made the police report. Travellers be extra cautious if u stay at this resort.

Strategically located at Cenang Beach, reasonably priced & good option for a stay in Cenang Road. They provided free parking, but the parking lot is not exactly at the hotel. You have to take a 5 minutes walk to the parking lot. But this is a good initiative by the hotel since parking is very limited in Cenang Road. I booked a sea view room. The room is very spacious & clean. The view is so marvellous, beautiful sunset with a direct view of the fire show at night. Bed is comfortable enough for a good night sleep. The pillow is a bit tad soft, though. I am particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom, and it smells nice, too. So, a good option out of many that you can find for a direct view & access to Cenang Beach.

Now I've just had a wonderful week staying here. All the staff were excellent however I've only given one star due to the dodgy night-time security guard. I was leaving at 6.30am Monday 27th Feb, to catch an early flight. Too early for reception hours. However reception had informed me to collect my deposit from night time security. Which I did. Then I was having trouble getting a Grab car to the airport. This security guard approached and told me he could get a cab for 50 Ringgit. Wow, Grab is about 12 Ringgit and taxi rank 25 Ringgit. Having been to Langkawi over 20 times this upset me. A thieving security guard at the end of my lovely week. I accepted his offer as I was desperate. But I happened to walk outside and saw a cab in the distance. I flagged him towards me. All the time the security guard was saying NO, NO, NO, car coming.. The nearby cab was only 20 Ringgit because it was hailed and not at the rank. So I happily jumped in that car. Now this dodgy security guard is trying to make 25 Ringgit out of customers at early hours of the morning. Unbeknown by the hotel. Hence a less than favorable review.

We booked with dinner and the food was delicious. On new year, they have a buffet and we got complimentary tickets. Their grilled food tastes great! The location is great. Beside cenang for swimming and beach activities and directly opposite Warisan duty free shop for buying alcohol. The staff are friendly. The wifi in the room can be spotty so better go to the lobby if you need internet.

Parking lot that provided is quite far from the hotel. You need to walk around 5 to 10 minutes to park your car. If you are lucky, you can park near. Firstly, you need to drop everybody and all of your item in front of the hotel lobby. Then move your car to parking provided. After that you can check in. Overall the beach view so amazing and the food is quite good.

Consider this Reasonable and Affordable. The room was just ok and quite spacious. It has a TV with nothing to watch, a fridge, a water heater, an iron, and a board. But the toilet was spacious as well. There are plenty of SeaView Rooms. Mine is probably the worst Seaview room, near the restaurant and kitchen. Service by the staff was polite and friendly enough. No parking spot at the hotel, but there is a parking spot at Langoura Baron which is also part of the Best Star Hotel management. The location of the hotel was nice. It is by the sea. The nearest to fireshow and all.

We enjoyed our 3-day stay in this resort.Similar to what had been shared by others, their rooms and furniture were rundown but to me what matter most at whichever hotel I am staying is comfort of mattress and optimally functioning air conditioner for places with tropical weather .Fortunately, these were not compromised.I was not so happy with the warmth of water from rain shower which was not consistent.We need to be wary when showering our toddler and since only rain shower available, it really inconvenienced us. May be this will only matters to those having toddler like me.The room number and floor was not in sync unlike other hotels.The view of beach from hotel was obscured by the roof of the cafe and therefore, not so great but we feel thankful for that as it muffle the noise from outside. I enjoyed the view from terrace which was accessible from third floor if I am not mistaken.The aerial view was atmospheric.I like the breakfast varieties offered and I love the beach view from the cafe over the swimming pool.The room was devoid of iron and dryer.The iron and board available at the corridor. The location was superb as the beach,duty-free shops and restaurants were within walking distance from the hotel.Notable spots like Cenang mall was in close proximity and there was an Eco shop selling items at RM2.60 as you merge into main road.We drop by there to grab bottles of mineral water. I appreciate the hotel for providing us the parking in the opposite row at Langgura Baron Resort.We are grateful for that as we had rented a car and would been a hassle if there was no provision of carparks.

Everything works, But why only 4 star? So that they can be better ;). Room is huge. Air cond working as expected. Bath room is big and hot water always available. Walking distance from dataran pantai Chenang. All is good here. Review period 29 May 2022 to 31 May 2022.

Beach front. Beach view from swimming pool is fantastic. In front of duty free shops. Can shop again & again. Lots of makan places. Located at Cenang. Strategic. Huge rooms at affordable prices. Romantic candle light dinner by the beach.

Apart from the location, everything else was abysmal. poor customer service, staff don't speak very good English, staff are not very friendly with non-Malaysians, very expensive breakfast that's not very good, can't use the pool during evening time (but customers are not informed about this and no signs about pool opening time either), no hairdryer in the room, poor internet connection, blocked toilet and the list goes on. I would not recommend this place to anyone, Malaysians or non-Malaysians. They charg extra to everything, not considerate at all. This place is an absolute disgrace to Malaysian Hospitality.

You get what you paid. Walking distance to Pantai Cenang and duty free shop. Lots of eating spot nearby but i would suggest to visit a franchised restaurant to make your money worth Parking is included nearby. Three minutes walk The room is okay. The main problem is water heating system was broken. Cant turn it off and adjust. Boiling hot water came from the shower head. If youre lucky you can get a beach facing rooma and if you want something different from malibest this one can be your option

Worth for the money. Everything is near. Too old facilities. No breakfast. But nearby has a lot to eat. Booked 2 tours at the hotel front. One is good one is bad. We pay same, and we were on the horrible humble sunset cruise with horrible food. Others had a big luxury one with toilet and good food. Ahah.

A very cool place to stay - in the heart of Chenang Beach. The wooden cabins look great. Rooms are spacious enough and kept organized by the staff. Very cooperative staff. Happening place so never a dull moment.

The resort is one of the best that I have experienced in Malaysia. The staff is very friendly and helpful plus it has a beautiful surroundings. I will recommend to all the tourist to stay in this resort .

Its relatively cheaper than the other hotels at the beach. They got good rooms, breakfast, free WIFI, a snack shop and a small café. At night there's always something going on at the beach, weather its a Fire-show or a love confession. Never a dull moment.

The room is clean. The staffs are very helpful n friendly. Only complain is no hairdryer in rooms. Very difficult for women to dry hair hair after nice day out at beach n swimming pool. Please do open the back door staircase to the beach for easy access n do light up brightly at night.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Star Resort in Langkawi and overall, it was a delightful experience. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and the room was impeccably clean. However, there were a few amenities missing that would have enhanced the stay even further. Firstly, the absence of a hair dryer was a bit inconvenient, especially for travelers like myself who rely on it for grooming. Additionally, the lack of a tissue box was noticeable, and it would have been convenient to have one readily available in the room. Lastly, a hair towel would have been a thoughtful addition for guests who prefer to keep their regular towels dry for showering. Nevertheless, despite these minor shortcomings, the overall experience was positive. If the hotel were to provide these additional amenities, I believe it would elevate the stay to an even higher level of comfort and satisfaction.

Perfectly located in the lively street of Cenang, shopping mall, souvenir shops, convenience store, restaurants, cafe, beach are all walking distant. You can access the beach directly from the hotel and it has swimming pool. Price for the room is affordable and clean. Air cond is cold and room is well-lit. Hairdryer has to be borrowed (for an hour) from the concierge. Staff is friendly and helpful :) Toiletries does not include oral care, so please bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. One downside is the shower head has smaller current and the water supply has weird smell.

We only use the facility - pool. Since the one in Malibest Resort under maintenance, management direct us to use pool here. Unfortunately no changing room available. We need to use washroom inside hotel which quite hassle for us at pool. Only shower is available. Location is the best!

So far so good. Large spacious room with small balcony overseeing pool and Seaview. Furniture are a bit old. Not exactly luxurious but sufficiently comfortable. Aircond is good and cold 👍🏻

Great location with walking distance to the beach and happening bars. But had very bad sleep for the 2 nights i stayed as noise and conversation from the next room is so audible. Noise from corridor will wake u up as well

Amazing location next to Pantai Cenang beach. Food in the restaurant is decent. They provide free parking in Langgura baron beach resort. Good to stay if you want to explore the island. Rooms are basic N dim, no exhaust in the washroom. Has TV, AC, Kettle and mini fridge. Water flow from geyser is less. To the management: Kindly refurbish the rooms.

Great spot. Price is great for location + breakfast. Located right on the beach in a busy part of the strip. Beach is accessible from the eating area also with a pool looking right onto the beach +ocean. Staff friendly and helpful. Free parking is also available just speak with desk staff.

Strategic location. Duty free right in front, massage place in vicinity, restaurants all within 5 mins to 10 mins walk and best of wall, beach front has superb view and all the water activities like jet ski, banana boat etc. White sandy beach at your doorstep.

Everything about this hotel is PERFECT. Thank god because ADYA CENANG HOTEL did not have a water supply on our date. So we checked-in to BEST STAR HOTEL and we very satisfied with the service, view, breakfast, surroundings, swimming pool and the receptionist were very friendly. Even the price is quite high from the previous hotel, but it didn't give us any problems. We parked our rental car at Langguna Baron Resort with the deposit + parking card given by our hotel.

The location is good, just few steps only to the sea. And have there own swimming pool for the kids. Yes, I love the locations. 😍

As the name best with the star...u may enjoy the best of view, scenic and the the beach nite activities. The location strategic access with so many walking distance. The friendly staff, clean room & easy parking access. The room rate reasonable.

So close to beach. That is great. Breakfast service in this hotel was so yummy. This Best Star Resort is located along Cenang Beach, a 15-minute drive from Langkawi International Airport. This hotel is a 3 minute walk from the beach and a 30-minute drive from Kuah Town in Langkawi. It is easily accessible. And on the beach front and provides an breath-taking sea view from my room.

Room with old furniture. Pillow too thick and when request extra pillow, it's not available. Booked for Super Deluxe room which in their website, show 4pillow available, but in actual only 2 thick pillow. Room 119 & 120 supposed Sea View, but it's next to restaurant. If you open sliding door or window, restaurant guest clearly can see you. No privacy at all. Only location is good, but parking for hotel guest too far. Hotel guest parking located at Baron Hotel which is around 500meter from hotel.

We booked a family room, the room is pretty spacious with 2 queen size bed. Room was clean but the bathroom water pressure is not very strong. Strategic location surrounded by restaurants, shops and duty free shops

Friendly staff. Room was average, decent space. Lovely location right on the beach. Downside: Walls are SO thin so could hear the surrounding rooms activities at all hours of the night. Woken up by loud talking and laughing in the corridors early in the morning. Ear plugs needed. Breakfast was decent. I would suggest they cover the fruit as it isn't pleasant having fruit flies over the fruit you'd like to take from the plates.

Good place, on the beach in city centre. But rooms look old. Rooms need some update. It wasn't the cleanest room which I ever seen, could be better. Good breakfast even for European guys. If you want to just have a good location, breakfast, shower and place where to sleep is it okey :)

Resort needs a coat of paint , better sound proofing , new curtains and furniture needs a new life and upgrade . PS rooms beach facing is great to have but beware a lot of loud ear busting music till midnight . Beach front is full of sea scooters not a great place to swim with confidence . Walk further and explore almost private beaches ❤️

Very decent hotel... Location is just superrb, attached to the beach... Have a small pool and located at centre of pantai cenang... Lot of options for food and shopping... Complimentary breakfast was also a perk...

Room are quite basic but clean and fulfills basic requirements. Check in time is 3pm so plan your travel accordingly. We did not like the food as our preference was vegetarian.

Considering the price, best not to expect anything like those 4/5-star hotels/resorts. Stayed here for a company trip, thankfully our room is quite clean (but a few of our coworkers did get kinda dirty rooms with foul smells), our bathroom is surprisingly clean, but expect the water in the bathroom to smell like saltwater lol. Pros: relatively clean and big room (and bathroom), standard sized closet, free drinks in the fridge, irons+ironing boards outside the rooms, it's in the center of attractions, easy to just walk to the beach, restaurants, malls, shops, etc. Cons: no hair dryer, saltwater smell water, low wifi, limited tv channels, thin walls (we can hear people walking and talking in the next room), charging outlets are far from the beds, parkings are far from the resort (very hard to find parkings nearby) (+stiff pillows) Some of the cons did not bother us much, but others might find it does. For a budget-friendly plan, this place is not bad, so judge for yourself.

It is at the heart of Langkawi. Walking distance to restaurants, shops & attractions. U can stroll down the street at night to watch fire show at the beach or find good restaurants. The parking is about 3mins walking from the hotel.

Perfect location. Just steps away from the famous Cenang beach. Right smack in the middle of the Chenang shopping district. My suggestion is book directly with the hotel. Cheaper by RM60/night.

Best location ever in the middle of everything happening at Chenang Beach and right on the beach with its own access gate. Pool facing beach too with kids slide. Triple rooms are large. This is my 2nd time here and will come again

The staff is friendly, helpful and hard working. They have a row of wooden cabins on the terrace, which overlooks the beautiful beach on one side and the beach street on the other. Just the rooms and property overall needs to look the part.

Good place to stay. Right on the beach front. Rooms are clean and tiedy. Staff is very cooperative and friendly. They have a secured luggage room which come in very handy if u have alot of time difference in check in and check out time. Things need to improve. 1. Washroom don't have hand showers only pipes. 2. No cleaning area on back side when u come from beach and are dirty. 3. No hair drier for females. 4. Stair at back entrance should be open for easy excess. 5. Breakfast needs improvement.
