A busy beach full with foreigners. Water sports such as banana boat, jet ski, kayaking, etc. are available here. Beware when playing on the beach especially kids, quite a number of 4-wheeled drive driving on the beach to transport the jet ski. The sand is fine 🙂. There is a lot of resort, food and beverages stalls on the beach. There is public toilet at the beach but you need to search for it. One is located near the Cenang landmark. On the main road next to the beach, you will find restaurants, massage parlours, food stalls and souvenir shops. Quite busy here.

When you’re in langkawi this is the place to visit it has everything you wanted the views the ambiance the peace people are very nice and yes the view was amazing there’s a duty free nearby which is one of its perks because all the things are comparatively cheaper there which makes it awesome to shop all food restaurants are also nearby which altogether makes it one amazing place to visit or even stay during your time at langkawi

Great beach not too crowded. Water sports available and the sunset time is lovely. Located Center of town where many shops and hotels are located. quite no of bars and restaurants around with beach views. Evening time there were stall with kids toys and also people will perform some stunts with fire. Nice place to relax and enjoy. Entry to the beach is free.

The last piece of beach that is freely accessible, except for 2 hidden beaches in the north. Busy with so-called water sports activities. It can still be fun in the evening. People are apparently tired of tourists and a little friendliness rarely goes amiss. Skip Langkawi it's not worth your time and money

Beautiful long stretch of beach. We stayed at one of the hotels here. Pretty well maintained and clean. Wonderful to go for long walks and runs, especially early in the morning during daybreak. During the course of the day several stalls provide watersport facilities. Can get crowded especially on weekends, but that adds a different sort of vibe. At evening the sunset can be stunning.

Fabulous area to stay. Loads of places to eat. Beach is great. Bars if you want them. Spantai Cenang seems a central place to stay on the island other attraction sites either direction about 30-40 min drive. Grab taxi the best to use.

The beach is really nice and there are several places where you can drink and eat. We were there in February 2024 and unfortunately there were quite a few jellyfish there, but there were still a lot of people in the water. So it's a nice beach in and of itself.

A totally commercial area with lots of shops on the roadside and you cannot see the beach from the road at all. This beach was beautiful about 20 years ago with clean sand and nice clear water. Now it looks like the beach and water from Port Dickson. I don't recommend to swim here. Go to other beaches for a swim. It has become a tourists spot for shopping, dining and entertainment. The prices here are double. But the place is lively especially in the evening with lots of locals and international foods, activities and music. Its a must go place if you planning to visit Langkawi. Pay your parking tickets during the day because you can be fined for RM30.

You can't spot this beach immediately as the line of hotels, motels and shops has covered the shore line. So to go to the beach, you have to go in between the hotels or directly to Cenang square. Once you reach the beach, you will spot fiesta of so many beach activities besides being welcome by the beautiful scenery of the beach itself. At dawn the beach is lit up with so many fire shows and some romantic dinner set up by the beach that will definitely give you long lasting memories. If you still want to stay for more, why don't you check out Cenang Square that is always filled with family activities from toys to cartoon figures that entertain people with creative products and shows

Nice beach with many F&Bs and activities to choose from. There's a pretty nice place located towards the southern end of the beach called The Cliff with a good selection of drinks and view of the sunset.

No plastic or other trash was visible as I walked the lenght of the beach. The sand felt soft under my bare feet and oil spils were not frequent. The muddy water, same colour as the huge jellyfish doesn't invite to swim. Several budget restaurants line the area and start serving food at four o'clock. Watersports, beach games, beach bars, hotel by the beach, seashells lining the beach for your picking, these are not the only attraction. If you loves sunset (not during monsoon season), you can watch it here and on a good day, it will be spectacular. It's golden rays fills the sea and shells on the beach. A surprise attraction was the "beach buskers". They performed some incredible stunts with flaming baton, flaming balls and flaming cannon. This was just after sunset.

A must place for everyone tourists and locals to visit. It’s a vibrant place for kids, family and couples. Good for romantic sunset walks, picnics family outing. The place is full of people and gives very good vibes of lively environment. Plenary of shops and restaurants and water sports to do over here.

Cars drive along the beach as if it were a road. Back and forth. You will have to sunbathe in the middle of passing cars. There are a lot of boats and scooters, you will also have to swim in the middle of them. It could have been Paradise Beach if the locals hadn't ruined it. They think about how to make money in the short term, but after some time the beach will be polluted and ruined.

Very nice and calming in the morning. Evening full with tourists. Best place for gateway as many activities available

Walkable from our guest house, lots lots of convenience store, we seen the fire show, took a lot of pictures. The price of the local stores selling gifts, clothings, and many more is affordable, thought it be Tourist trap for us which was a mistake. We had a good night walk. We walked about 400m to our stay, and it's past midnight, a bit scary with the quiet road, not with human but with the stray dogs hehehe

Nice Beach side in Langkawi - Malaysia.. You can really enjoyed it. Great and safety place to enjoying Parasailing and jet ski..🌅🌊🏖️🪂🚣🏊

Love it, clean beach but a lil bit crowded and quite jammed during day and night. Only peaceful time in early morning. Easy to find restaurants nearby and also there's one mall here

Excellent place to go for chillaxing in Langkawi. Very happening. So many activities and free firework performance every single night (if you want to sit on the bean bag, u just need to buy drink), if not u can also sit and eat at nearby foodstall and still able to enjoy the show.best time to swim would be morning time but Best time to go would be evening time 5pm onwards for actitivies. fire show starts a bit later around 8pm.

It's a nice clean beach, quite empty during the day but if the weather's nice later on everyone seems to visit. Checking sunsets, fire shows, restaurants and cafes near or on the beach. I guess that coming from Perhentian we were a little spoiled of crystal clear water, which you certainly don't get here.

Center of town where many shops and hotels are located. They have fire shows at night and some places to eat by the beach. Found a quaint bookshop with second hand books in various languages. They accept trade in as well

Meh , this is the spot where u want to find a human contact or socialize , because it is PACKED , but , the sunset here is nice and u have a lot of facilities and shops around , but for those who like some peace and quiet , I dont recommend

the place was super clean and managed very well. actually i left my wallet and handphone at the beach when enjoying the water sports suprisingly after three hours it was still there. the people of the island is very friendly.

The beach is serene, the sand so clean, water no plastic bags .... thanks to MCO, sorry to say that.

Pantai yang sempoi happening.. Bersih. Clean and spacious.. Many tour or water sport operators. Sands are white, but not that soft.. I'd say it's at the mild side. Shells not much for collection either. Good for hosting by the sea candle light dinners. And a full run from one end to the other will get you roughly 2-3km. Plenty of stops to freshen. Sunset 🌅 I'd rate a 3 star depending on weather

Amazing place I wish I could have stay there more. I have seen a amazing performance of juggling firesticks, by some local performer at night. If you like beach parties, hooka and peace, this is a place for you.

A nice beach suitable for those who likes water sports activities as you'll be spoilt for choices to choose from jet skis, banana boat rides, doughnut boat ride, and also para sailing. Very beautiful sunset as well. Along the long stretch of beach there are a lot of cafes and restaurants and also shops selling all kinds of items like souvenirs, t-shirts, duty free items and more. This is a very popular beach in Langkawi so expect crowd during peak season.
