The hotel's location is great, and it has a direct access to the beach and to the streets. Also has a swimming pool for kids. The problems though is with maintenance. The aircond is not cold, even after putting at 16C for hours. The bathroom door can't be closed properly. There's no hot shower. The sink water tastes a bit of rust. The kettle is rusted on the inside. The TV has no receptions whatsoever. There are also no lights at the stairs so it is pitch black at night.

Paid RM200++/night for a sea view, but it was the only positive aspect. -Unpleasant odor in the room. -Stained blanket. -Faulty door lock. -No hair dryer provided. -Absence of a laundry bag. -Locked safety box, rendering it unusable. -Balcony fence too low for adult safety. -No plug beside the bed. -Not well maintained furniture. I couldn't bear it and checked out after the first night, booking another hotel. I find it hard to understand the positive reviews on Agoda. Was I the only unlucky one? I hope my feedback prompts necessary changes for future guests."

I would give it a 5 star for the perfect location and for the great service by the friendly staffs. Unfortunately, the room is not up to par. The shower had no hot water and the room was a bit dusty but it was still clean. The other part that could annoy you is that the rooms are like hostel concept so be prepared to face noisy environment especially during the holiday season.

So you can get to the beach easily, go for a dip in the pool if want some fresh water, and if hungry can take a short stroll to many interesting food. There is a self-service laundromat within a few minutes walk away. Services are okay but apart from the pool, there is nothing much with the hotel. One feedback, if they can have some clothes drying rack in the room then it will be good. This is a beach resort, so definitely expect lots of wet clothes but there is not even a simple wire across the bathroom to dry clothes.

We picked this place for its location, right next to the beach, for its views from the rooms, and its price. We asked in advance for a room with a view and we've got a third floor room looking over the pool towards the sea. In all it's a great location, rooms are big, views are great, pool is lovely - especially for kids with its little water slides. Main downside for us is the firmness of the bed, it's the hardest one we've ever had in a hotel. Staff are helpful if not a little odd: I asked for a sheet to go over us and was told they don't have any sheets, then told they don't give out spare sheets as they don't have spare mattresses. Illogical answers, all debunked, we got a spare sheet in the end. But why the hassle?

The rooms are mostly smelly and gloomy. Not maintained properly. Some tap are broken. TV are not functioning. They have a construction going on without a proper hording which is very dangerous especially for kids. The pool is actually quite far from the room.

Lovely and fun stay. Its in a good location, convenient to find food and convenient store all at doorstep... not so much of a mall or branded stores setting... but casual beach holiday. What I love most about Malibest Hotel is its a beach-front property, nice charming atmosphere, fun holiday setting, nice small pool for kids in the property... ideal for big families stay and friends. The hotel facilities isnt much to shoutabout, more towards budget and basic, decently sort of clean I do hope they provide newer towels, bedlinen and pillow case as they look worn out.. Its a place to enjoy exploring whole day and enjoy the beach and come back to the room for a shower and sleep. The hotel has a free-parking across the street from the hotel but limited to around 10 cars or so as of Feb 2022. Will come back to stay again in the future, I am already missing this place as I am writing this review.

Very clean environment, comfortable and very good for couples, family and friends. Romantic place because when u open the door, u can easily get to the beach quickly. Not only that, please check out the many facilities around there.

Everything awesome. I came twice staying the same chalet in front beach. Here many kind of rooms. But truly recommends u to choose chalet/wood chalet. Open door/open window, the beach just there!

Each room has one small fridge which is convenient for the guest. Room service was good. The staff will come and clean the room every morning around 9-10am. The staff was quite helpful on giving direction and recomendation. We was staying at 1st floor. It was a beach view room. The staff was really polite. The beach is walking distance from the room. They was doing some renovation when I went there. Hopefully in near future they will be having buffet breakfast. 7 eleven is located just opposite the hotel. There is plenty of clothes shops, restaurants and spa along the road.

A decent if slightly barebones room. Clean, but could use some touching up, seeing as some of the furnishings don’t look very regularly maintained. If it rains outside your top floor room, expect water to collect outside your door. Great views of the beach though.

I stayed here for two nights and was not disappointed. There are some flaws in the hotel room itself, that being the tap water being salty making it quite uncomfortable to shower with; the AC not able to make the room cold. But, it is situated near a beach and has it's own mini pool for the kids. Overall, not too bad of a stay.

My chalet room requires immediate upgrade and improvement. I'm told most rooms are in the same run down condition. Bathroom needs an overhaul and shower head has only 2 streams of water. Door didn't lock properly. Overpriced. Location is public beach front, so expect public to past by your room and sometimes sit around for drinks. Food is easy as its along Cenang Walk. Lots of restaurants. Hotel buffet breakfast is reasonable.

Good location but the hotel condition is really bad. Toilet is badly taken care of. A lot of mosquitoes in the room. Service is not the best. Limited parking spaces. Room is acceptable. Hotel is by the beach. If you book online, you won't get the chalet type. Perfect location for the tourist spot. Lively at night. The pool is not big but exciting enough for your kids if it is not crowded.

Really nice room and located right on the beach in main street. This was a pleasent stay. Only negative is that the reception was not that friendly. For example, when we asked for directions to the nearest laundry, the lady in the reception just pointed in a direction without even looking at us or saying a word.

If you are looking for a place to stay right on the beach , this is the best place to. If you are looking for luxury obviously this is not the best place to be. Just had an issue of not being being given the A/C remote even after asking for it , so had to borrow from our next door neighbors luckily we knew them . The breakfast was pretty descent and lots to choose from , literally less than 50metres to the beach and lots of activity around the hotel

Strategic location. Room was very old. Have a mosquitos in the room. Toilet drain was clogged. Totally the room was very poor. Breakfast just so-so, just local dish. No special at all. Parking was there, but not for all the guests, only selected guest can get the parking. The hotel practise is 'parking by booking', not first come first served. Even the car was out, the security will save the parking for the same person and the new guests need to find other location to park their car. Even there have empty car park, only certain guest can park there. Maybe the hotel crew & security crew need to go to extra training to attend guest, be polite & be reasonable to handle guests and situation. Overall, not recommended to stay here over than 1night, try to find other hotel(much better). Not worth for every penny!!

The location of the resort is happening. Plenty of Shops, Bar n restaurants nearby. Beach walking distance like 50m only. Room was fine hope they improve their room and bathroom.

The best resort to stay with Sea View. Friendly Room Service Staff. I have booked 4 rooms to stay with my friends but 3 rooms aircon was faulty. But after complaining, they fit it ASAP. The rest are OK.

Very basic outdated rooms. No WiFi except in the lobby. A/C doesn't cool the room very much even if it's set to 16C. In Malaysia, you will pay 10 Ringgit tourism tax for every day of your stay and 3 Ringgit for "heritage tax". Also 100 Ringgit key deposit. On the positive, the hotel is a 10 min walk to the town center.

Firstly, the water provided in the rooms are not clean, we can see the water appearing yellowish colour. Secondly, the facilities in the room is not well-established and not user-friendly, they didn’t provide hair dryer and telephone in the room, which means whatever the guests have any requests, they should always go to the front desk to seek for help. The hair dryer also has to be returned back in 2 hours time after borrowing from front desk. So, we don’t think Malibest Resort is a good option for staying in Langkawi. Lastly, we can’t understand why they do not have their hotel signboard to tell the guests this is their hotel, as we have been looking for the hotel for a few times. However, the location is pretty good where it is located near to the attractions.

Staffs are just okay, not expecting friendly due to not being friemdly either but they are indifferent, don't care attitude. No phone in the room if need to call for assistance. The TV reception were lousy, TV is too high on the wall. But balcony view are wonderful

The room was horrible, the bathroom water leakage the ceiling like any moment going to drop. Water flow from the tab and shower was very small. Room not worth of the money we paid. The reception ladies there wasn't that friendly or helpful towards us. No sufficient parking for the hotel. Have to park our rental car somewhere far distant from the resort. Overall staff in the resort not friendly. Regret customer..

Most room seems old and run down, initially booked for a deluxe family but the aircon is badly positioned and we had a very sweaty day in the room. Requested for room service from the receptionist which doesn't really help until late night was helped by 2 security personnels that found me a better room, but the water from the bathroom is very slow and weak.

The rooms are mostly smelly and gloomy. the room is fully carpet and their cleaner never vacuum properly that is lot of sand on the carpet. Their aircord not service and well maintain. When we enter to the room after 2 hours also the room is not cooling at all. When we request to change the room. thy never bother and ask us to wait until the maintenance people to do the service. I’m so disappointed as we need to go ready for my father birthday dinner. All of us need to dress up for the event without aircord cooling and my kids get sweating. They have no proper parking for the customer. It’s too far from the resort. My advice to other customer … u can book Malibest Resort because its near to the beach otherwise once u make a booking .. Please to a full confirm on the property before make the full payment.

The pool was great for the kids. The room was average size, but had everything we needed. The persistent sand was annoying, but it's at the beach and is expected. There were a couple of days of great sunsets while we were there. If you have a drone, you'll likely have to get the geofencing temporarily removed and be very careful flying.

Location is very good. Very convenient to get food and shop for souvenirs. Actually it is a good affordable hotel but I will give only 2 stars since the booking misled customers stating paying extra for rooms facing the sea, but in reality the rooms are blocked by the tree and chalets.

Perfect location with crystal clear seawater. Nice n great wood artwork for the chalets n treehouses. But, humble recommendation for the guests parking area and come with difficulty access from streets to the beach & rooms. Overall, Still Recommended to stay! 👍🏻👍🏻 #malibestresort

At the centre of Pantai Cenang, so food, shopping, beach, massage is all within walking distance. Room is huge but the furniture is kind of old and in need of a refurbish, aircond works well. Tap and shower water got slight salt water smell. No breakfast provided. Pool is available but we didn't get a chance to try it.

Staff friendly Location: good - near to duty free shops, variety of restaurants can easily found. Very suitable for family holiday with kids because it’s located at the beach. Overall good for shopping and beach activities.

Got ourselves a chelet viewing the sea. I mean there were so much activities in front of our place. Beds are good... Rooms light setup are warm white.. A bit dark inside.. Please take note that this room are not for fussy travellers... Of course rooms will have leftovers of sand and thats normal. Just enjoy the sea wave at night and enjoy your holiday. Everything you want is just on walking distance. Will definitely repeat again

Room Gloomy, sandy, cannot watch tv, bedsheet got stain, plug point crack Toilet sink and toilet bowl got stain, no hot water (this is the major turn off! report it to management 7am cz we didnt use hot water last night and then they allow us to use toilet in next room or another option we have to wait for technician 9am) Staff Receptionist is not friendly during check in. didnt smile at all. booked thru agoda and made a request to have a high floor room. she said already full occupied with walk in customer. seriously? Absolutely pathetic and disgusting service. Not worth the huge amount you pay as the basic services were not rendered and the hotel management or staff doesn't really care about how you are staying in. For a deluxe wooden room - Paid RM620 for 3 nights. And what I got, * Water clogged washroom * TV with No reception * Toiletries were not refilled for 3 days even after complaining more than 3 times * Asked for an extra pillow for a leg injury, even after 6 hours from the initial request no one bothered to send it. Had to go to the reception to collect it * Coffee sachets were never refilled * Only 1 plug point to charge pphones and to be used for tv * No restaurant unlike what they advertise Only good thing is the location, nothing else.

Stayed here 2nites. Room was on a confusingly numbered floor. The furnitures n carpet seemed newish but the split unit aircond was not able to cool the room sufficiently. The bed was on the hard side while the pillow was too soft. The balcony overlooks the cast Cenang beach but the balcony door was not built proper causing irritating wind noise the whole time. No parking lot n was a nightmare to park the car. This prevented us from moving the car, just for the sake of not searching for another car park. Saw some ongoing construction but not sure what. Bathroom conditions were same mixed bag of nuts. It was big but no bathtub. The water pressure n hot water supply were ok but the water itself would smell n taste strange. Very disconcerting. I guess for the price n for reasons of room to b a place to rest n get ready for the next outing, it is more than sufficient for a smallish family.

Stay was ok...tap water a funny color so used bottle water. Aircon not very cold and wifi does not work. You can connect but no connection. location is good. Shops,cafes and restaurants around. Housekeeping staff are awesome. Friendly and polite. Swimming pool is good in the morning only. Afternoons are really busy with a lot of kids. Over all stay was ok.

It's a lovely place to stay. The beach is just in front of the hotel. The staff arranged two sea view rooms for me. I will surely stay there again and again. A few things the hotel should take care: 1. Intercom should be there in the room. 2. The house keeping staff should be more prompt in attending to calls.
