Dirty Female room, no windows and NO VENTILATION I personally didn't even get the blanket and my fan was broken.. same as the plug to charge the phone. No curtains on the beds Beds very poor quality. Only 2 toilets/showers Horrible atmosphere Staff playing loud music very early morning- didn't bother me that much because I didn't sleep all night anyway. I booked the room in mix dorm with my partner and my request was complete ignored by the lady on the reception. You can't even take your own backpack into the room !!!!! This is the hostel policy... but if something will get stolen.. they have a note on the wall that it's your own responsibility!!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ You CAN GET MUCH MUCH BETTER PLACE FOR THE SAME MONEY. I have been staying in Langkawi over 3 weeks and that was the worst choice ever!

Infested with bed bugs, beware. One of the staff was nice and let me change rooms twice when I found them in the first and AGAIN in the second room, which is the only reason I’m giving a second star. But ultimately I got eaten alive and am writing this with hives all over my body from an allergic reaction to the bites. I know they try to keep it clean but it’s an old building and I’m pretty sure the bugs are living in the walls and crevices of the furniture so unless they get an exterminator and do it the proper way (that “spray” they use on the mattresses isn’t gonna work) then there will continue to be bugs. Also, no atmosphere given that there’s not much of a common room. A couple beanbags in front the the reception desk doesn’t cut it.

Honestly you get what you pay for. But the place was cleaned and swept daily. Toast provided. Yes the toilets are in/next to the kitchen. Just wake up early if it bothers you too much. The door is only locked at night and the room doors do not have keys. I would go here again.

Pretty good hostel! I recommend it if you want to meet a lot of backpackers. The owners are not too friendly but the staff is really nice. The common space is pretty small..but the hostel is right on the beach so its good.

Good all round hostel. Clean with hot showers. We met great people which makes a difference. Overall good hostel. Staff are friendly. Free toast and hot and cold water refills

Good to stay for a while! Price is 20myr for fan room 25myr for aircon room. Location is perfect!

This hostel is a bit clattered with stuff and a little rundown but that gives it a nice, beachy, laidback atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and very appreciative of their guests. I only spent one night here but I think it's a good place to meet people as everyone seemed to be getting along and playing cards games. The hall is used as a dorm and it has an open connection to the kitchen and the common area. This makes it hard to not wake others when you have to get up early because light and noise all travel to the sleeping guests. I could not use my electric shaver for example and making breakfast also makes noise. And if you want to sleep out that's going to be hard too. The hall-dorm also doesn't have airco but fans which makes it hard to sleep at night. I specifically booked this property because of the airco and because I had an early flight the next morning so I was quite disappointed. I would give more stars of airco was installed and the hall turned into a room. Other than that; great place and good location.

No division between social area and dorm beds means that if anyone is playing loud drinking games anywhere in the hostel then nobody can sleep. Comfortable enough beds and good facilities otherwise.

The STAFF IS FRIENDLY, location near Beach, u can walking 100meters, bud bed is weak n bath room, rest room to small. Cheap for dorm just pay 6usd/night
