Reasonably-priced option with a very strategic location, smack in the middle of Cenang Beach stretch and very close to the Underwater World, mall and eateries. The beds were big and comfortable, I slept well here. However, the floors were quite sandy and security could be an issue because you don't actually need an access card to go up the lifts. Plus, the lift is accessible by public as its located outdoors. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our requests for late check out and extra towels. Kudos to the team!

It is under rated hotel (2 stars) . It must be rated 3 or even 4 stars. It was clean with good serving and reasonable price. Daily cleaning And so polite and helpful staff.

Staff are extremely nice, I called down to the reception the day before we were checking out to make sure there would be someone there as we planned to leave at 5:30am, the guy at reception told us he had his car ready out front in case we needed a lift to the airport. Location was perfect, rooms are nice and tidy and right on the beach. Good value for money

Pros: -Hotel location is great. Located on beach however our deluxe beach view room was blocked by trees. The whole building is blocked by trees so you get very little, if any beach view. -Easy walking access to shopping and food. -The staff are friendly and I feel bad for them trying to accommodate guests for the short comings of the hotel. Cons: - hotel / room need proper maintenance - towels & bed sheets are dirty / old looking. The sheets & towels that use to be white are greyish. We booked for two people and had to ask for second towel after housekeeping cleaned the room. - A/C control unit does not work other than just to power on / off the unit - TV is difficult to use with no instructions, no live English Channels. We had to call house keeping 6 times in our 2 1/2 day stay because TV content are streamed through TV box and it kept losing connection. Another time TV would not power on. - shower head is older and loose. - we had to call house keeping for clothes hangers since none in room I realize this is a budget, no frill hotel but I feel this hotel has been neglected maintenance wise. Needs serious up keeping. I would not recommend this hotel.

Location is perfect for restaurants and beach. The room is modern, has a huge bed, balcony, and is very clean. Staff also friendly and check in was easy. Unfortunately the sound proofing is non existent. The rooms have a door between them, with gaps, so you can hear everything happening next door. I struggled to sleep with neighbours watching TV, talking and being on phones. I had to go tell them to be quiet. The shower also did not drain. I told reception and they said they would fix it, but did not. I guess good value for money.

We stayed for one night in December. The hotel was fully booked. We has a deluxe king room beach facing. You could not see any of the beach, you have a view of the car park and trees from your balcony. The balcony door wouldn’t lock. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. The shower head fell off the shower wall, and could not be secured back on the wall due to the way it had been fixed to the wall originally. Location is great, and front desk were polite and friendly. This hotel is 100 times better than Langgura Baron Across the road, avoid that one

I’ve made a phone call just now at 1:07am to make an inquiry at their property. Unfortunately, it was disappointing when the service guy who picked up the call named Yus has been rude with me when suddenly he spoke Indonesia language when he heard me talking with my partner in Malay language at the background which was Sabah accent. He said that if I can’t speak English then no need to speak, just speak Indon instead. However, it is unacceptable when he seems like underestimate my English. What a shameful act, at first I do really interesting with the place but then when I got attitude from the guy who spoke with me very harsh and rude, it immediately a red flag to me to book this place. To Yus, please behave and be polite with the way you speak on line with your customer or guest to be, it seems like you are not professional at all in handling customer inquiry and etc. Thank you.

Nice room presentation with king-sized bed, air-conditioning, balcony, TV, high-quality bathroom (with rain shower) and you could walk through neighbours door if you and they agree. They are connected, so it's nice to travel here with family or friends.

Lovely stay. Before booking this hotel we were very doubtful, as we were in south east asia for 3 weeks and the other countries/cities we visited, the hotels were much more expensive. In Langkawi, we only had 2 nights and coudnt find a reasonably priced and good hotel and decided to book a very very cheap hotel, as its close to the beach. I am so GLAD we booked this hotel. We didnt need a pool or breakfast as the beach was 1 minute away and there was plenty of places to eat nearby. Friendly staff, Great location, Good rooms and Excellent price.

Worst experience ever, if you like : - to be waken up by a drill or a hammer at 8 in the morning - dirty bed sheets and towels (they changed them everyday and they were all dirty, either blood or yellow strains) - colonies of ants in your bedroom - to be stuck in the elevator for an hour (happened to my wife) Then welcome to Cenang Plaza. If by chance, your brain is still functional and you want to enjoy your stay in Langkawi which is a fantastic island just RUN AWAY from this hotel.

Got an upgrade from city facing to the suite, no complaints much, except the lift only goes up to the 3rd floor (suite on the 4th mind you), it has a balcony with beach view (which was much obstructed by the trees), the shower drain clogs up (only able to shower for a few minutes), and the tv remote lags like hell (but you're here for the activities, so tv is only a small matter for me). Otherwise, love the location (foodwise, activity wise), parking is readily available, bed is sO comfortable, plus the complimentary in room aristo coffee machine is a nice touch too. Will definitely be coming back!

2nd visit . A must budget friendly hotel. The highlight as follows: ✅beachfront hotel near the fire show ✅near to delicious restaurant called “Bamboo” ✅cleaned hotel and top house keeping service ✅really large king size bed ✅all furniture and bedding in good condition ✅parking available ✅fast check in attentive staff ✅value for money

Everything was good, location is prime, traffic can be slow along the 1-way road. For a budget price of ~RM 180 per night for 3 adults + 1 toddler, everything was above average. Only complain is the TV, almost useless remote and poor choices of channels, guess that's one way to encourage people to go out, bcoz you should!!

Main thing going for it is great location. Bathroom however leaves a lot to be desired. Shower door didn't close so the bathroom ended up getting flooded after someone had a shower. WiFi was quite bad and had to rely on data. Black mould was on the wall tiles of the bathroom due to a lack of an extractor fan. Service was good though and staff were helpful.

Good located hotel directly to the beach. Unfortunately the hotel provided us a room with mold in the bathroom and they wanted to bring us the towels later on. (afterwards the towels came, but they were not smelling fresh and they had some yellow and little red spots.... Also the bed lines didn't look fresh (also with spots)) We didn't feel well and complained and got a new room without any problems. No mold, but same problems with towels and lines. Room service was every day and the people working there were kind. In addition Internet WiFi didn't work once! I cannot recommend the hotel, would not stay here again.

Basic building with no facilities: no pool, restaurant etc. decent sized balconies, half of which overlook the beach. TV service and wifi are useless. Hotel is unable to make a double bed by combining two singles; this is usually a standard hotel technique. Helpful staff team. Rooms are a good size.

Thank you Chenang Plaza Beach Hotel for the room upgrade. My room has been upgraded to suite room. One of the nicest hotel in Langkawi with reasonable price. The room here is better than some of the 5 star hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Warm welcome. Feel like home. Will come back again.

Spent 6 nights there... I must say that this hotel is really neat and clean.. the location is really good.. close to the beach and cenang mall, where you can find all the fast food and local restaurants.. the front office manager is very helpful.. (budget friendly and value for money)

Location of this hotel is very strategic. It was easy to access both beach and mall. Room was also okay. It was spacious enough and there are chairs at balcony so that I can enjoy the view in the morning. Staffs were very supportive too. If I have another chance to go Langkawi again, I would like to stay here again.

This place is just in front of the Cenang beach. Very convenient for food and shopping. The room was spacious. Only lacking was unable to see the sea even though our room was upgraded to seaview .. because of the tall trees blocking it. The staffs was very friendly though. Free parking across the road (behind Cenang Mall)

The Cenang Plaza Beach Resort, is a gorgeous 5 stars rwsort with all the comfort that it implies, yet at a reasonable pricing. Extensive buffet breakfast, beautiful pool, very comfortable beds... But what makes this place truly great is how kind and helpful the staff is with it's customers. I thought that this kind of service was only to be found in Japan, but it was a surprise to see I was wrong! A truly wonderful stay.

The customer service was warmest welcoming us, friendly & ready to serve me & my husband delightfully. The room was very clean & no bed bug. Just the beach view on second floor, we cant see the beach bcs there hv a lot of trees. Should try third floor. And just the park is quite far opposite the hotel. Nothing less, would be delighted to come again ☺️

Fantastic stay, it's in the centre of stores and restaurants and next to the beach. Friendly and efficient staff, they immediately helped take our suitcases up to our rooms when we came. The rooms are good size, just everything you need. We found a shoe print on our pillow which was concerning but when we notified the staff, they immediately changed the entire bed covers. Beds were very big like super king-size and very comfortable.

Amazing location.. just besides the busiest beach in Cenang. All amenities are within walking distance. The room is really clean, it exceeded my expectations. Even though my room was facing the street, it was not noisy. But there was some noise from the door side. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a basic hotel with great location and good cleanliness.

Mid -range budget friendly hotel-Fantastic location, easily accessible, safe for solo travellers to roam about, staff super nice and helpful, great view of ocean ( if u take the sea view option).

5 star for location, But you will get better options around this area...stay was pleasant....rooms are average....no breakfast options for indians around this area...u need to adjust from breakfast outside like other hotel breakfast options....we took took it from Hotel Nadias which is jus infront of our hotel

First of all this hotel is very convenient. I can said it at the heart of Cenang. Everything you ask for just in walking distance. Nice and clean interior/exterior. Friendly staff. When I want to book through Agoda all rooms was sold out. Then I call hotel directly. One of the staff help me to book the hotel through Agoda with cheaper price. Last but not leas the view from Sea View room just perfect for me.

Room is clean.. service is fast and excellent. Location us just right in the middle of Chenang heart.. enjoy your fireshow during night and have a variety of food choices from nearby restaurant

The location of the hotel is perfect in terms of accessibility to food, local amenities and especially the beach. If you happen to stay on the beach facing side of the hotel you can watch the fire display which is really cool although the trees are somewhat in the way. Only issue is the noise from the beach can be heard late into the night. The hotel do provide double glazing windows but it is still audible. The rooms are decent enough size and clean enough, the AC is lacked intensity and the hallways are abit narrow.
