Sadly this hotel has a huge potential to shine bright in Langkawi! When I first arrived, I was amazed with the huge built up and ample parking. You can see a huge ASEANIA "hollywood sign" on top of a hill just behind the hotel, and that's amazing. The location is strategic, very near to the beach. The high windows at the walkway towards the lobby are beautiful and stylish. But, most of the rooms are empty, only ground floors open for visitors. And our room is very smelly like it has not been used / open for years. It smelled old, clearly the room has no air flow for quite some time. Understandably the pandemic sure had hit the hotel hard. Some more, the landscape is not well maintained, the swimming pool is not well kept, and the water fountains are all left dry and dirty. I love the tropical vibes with lots of trees and greens but I'm the kind of person who appreciates cleanliness and tidiness, hence I couldn't tolerate the view from my room. I'm sorry for sharing this honest review. My husband and I decided not to stay at this hotel even for a night. We checked out immediately and looked for another hotel. However, I'll be sharing some of the photos I took. As I mentioned earlier, it has huge potential.

Apart from the staff who were helpful and friendly, the hotel is very old, basic and lacks maintenance. This includes food, open buffet breakfast, rooms and toilets. Indeed the toilets need more than just a renovation. Although the hotel has a lot of potential and is a good location, I believe it lacks a professional management. Lastly, many ants everywhere in the rooms and hotel. In terms of staff I give this hotel 4 to 5 stars but for other things it deserves zero stars or less. Not worth the money.

You can call this a horror hotel. The hotel management struggles to maintain the conditions of the hotel after Covid closedown. The room filled with bugs and grime in the bathroom. The swimming pool they advertised is very dirty, spoken with the pools manager and he promise to clean up but 5 days later still the same condition! The staff at the breakfast buffet is unresponsive; they stare at you without addressing issues, like the butter bread station that's full of ants. I had to ask one of the employees standing around to clean and replace the butter. There are fruit flies buzzing around the fruit, requested the lady to switch on the fan or place a candle around the station. All the walls have stains, and the doors are in dire need of attention. One of the pool cleaners who not clean but hangs around there has a frightening look in his eyes and never smiles." Quality control inspection needed!

We recently booked this hotel for 3 days and it was totally a glitch. Not recommended at all. The rooms were dirty with bad odour. Washrooms had mud water and were out of order (the commode spelled out all the water it had which was horrible). Staff was good but this hotel is not recommended. Please refrain from booking this hotel. Simply pathetic.👎🏻

Amenities is great actually but closed, sadly. The rooms is big but old and the stairs are quite dirty and smelly sometimes. Love the pool! But better is all the slides are functioning. Hope to see better in the future.

The rooms were quite spacious but every items is quite old. The twin beds provided could accommodate two people in one bed. Staffs were quite polite and friendly. Pool was okayish and they had swimming costumes available at their store if someone wants to buy. Major issue is the property is quite old and needs to be renovated. They haven't maintained it well. The bathroom had direct water supply from geyser that needs to be fixed.

The details of my experience are very bad and there is no safety in this place. Secondly, it is not good for respectable families. There is a gangster nightclub there. Thirdly, there is a person who works in this club and he is a manager. I think I want him to remember me well and remember what he did to me without me saying anything negative to him, and I don’t even know. I don't hear, but he is white-skinned and not of medium height. He also has a thin beard and soft hair. I just want him to remember me well. I have a strong passport. I went to my embassy here and they said they would take my rights from him in any way possible. He also stole my phone. I went to Malaysia for tourism, but I did not find anything. Safety in Langkawi Just remember the person who was wearing blue This person is not a Malaysian by appearance. He does not have Malaysian nationality, and his appearance resembles a shaman, and he works in an informal manner, but I hope he remembers me well. I am coming to him before I return to my beloved country. ⏳🤏🏽🤌🏾

Its a very spacious and affordable hotel located just 5 minutes drive from cenang beach. Suitable for people who wants to stay nearby the beach, but prefer some tranquility as cenang beach can be quite hectic at night. Also suitable for families as they have a huge pool with slide. Staff are friendly and attentive, always smiling and makes you feel welcome. We had a great chat with one of the staff, who recommended us some nice place to eat as well. The places might looks old, but the warmth of the staff makes this place so much more alive.

***DO NOT BOOK HERE**** ***ALERT** Rooms are pathetic, do not try living here. The rooms stink and smell. Aircon does not work, the washrooms were dirty, the room walls had Spider web. No Remote for Aircon. Bath towels were older than me in age. it was a bad experience with my family. I wish someone guided me not to go there. Breakfast was just ok. Not a great deal

Eleven of us, whole family. Stayed 3 days, took 2 rooms connected. For breakfast not many varieties to choose from. Quite tasty. Children like it for it's swimming pool. You have to bring your own towels. Adults should accompany their youngs at the swimming pool. During our stay, after dinner, there's magic show. For your rooms, you have to call for service. Free WiFi, for TV's stations, well so-so. During my stay, 1 station hang-up with the same static picture. Other station it's OK. For Travelling it's quite easy to get booked transport, mini vans. Friendly helpful drivers. Will visit again but will try other hotels. For transport you can bring your own ride either from Kuala Kedah or Kuala Perlis, RM400 +- for the ferry service if staying more then 2-3 days. If not just Rent or book your Grab.

Stay away from this place. It is nothing like the published photos. It was probably very nice in its prime but the pictures, i believed taken a super long long long ago. Apparently it is close to being shut permanently but is still accepting bookings. Please, DO NOT even consider it. It is completely dilapidated. Ants in bathrooms, table top, floor. Toilet cannot flush. AND stained bed sheets, broken furniture, windows only half closed. It is just awful. Booked for a 3 night stay but we only willing to endure for 1 night cos of the room condition and it is somewhat eerie at night! Lucky we managed to get a last minute hotel near the cenang beach.

Put it this way la , hotel has it prime before but not now . Mold and rust can be found inside room , pool is gigantic but dirty due to short of pool boy , breakfast is disappointing , all the lighting is out even the chandelier on the lobby. All the restaurants u saw they have all closed even one of their block is looked like haunted building with overgrown weeds and shabby outlook it looked scary even in the morning . But their staff is still friendly and helpful . Location of this hotel is nice . It is almost center of everything .

Pool was dirty. Only breakfast is served. No in room dining or coffee house after breakfast. No bar service. Place is a bit run down. Bathroom had stains on the wall. Toilet was leaking. Aircond was noisy. Basically they don't have enough staff to run the place. Not worth your money

Worst experince. It was booked by travel operator. There were multiple issues including mold, cockroaches, cleaness. Internet was not working. For 3 person a queen bed provided. On request to change the room they only offer upgrade with additional charges. Had to Spent the night since we checked in late night. Breakfast was fine table and chairs were dirty. It looks like no upgrade in 30 years.

Location brilliant. Service very good staff are very polite and helpful. Hotel needs a massive renovation. Breakfast is very basic.

Hotel is very big, but lacks maintenance. Swimming pool which is main attraction here was not functional for 3 days of our stay. Wifi was not working properly even after complaint. Breakfast was not at all good. That if you are vegetarian there are very few options (only bread, fruits,beans). Only good about the hotel is its location. Very close to cenang beach and island hopping jetty.

Nice location and property and It looks very good in photos but reality is different they need to improve a lot of things. Rooms and services are not maintained properly also they will ask for deposit a amount not sure why but that strange thing I have found.

This is my 3rd time here, but this time the resort is like running down. The room is aging, smelly and the worst part, we need to wait until 11pm to get the towel. We even checked in at 830pm which is late enough to prepare the room. Disappointed

Hotel's convenient location made it easy to explore nearby attractions and utilize public transportation. I appreciated the amenities offered, including like free Wi-Fi, parking, instant coffee tea ,..etc..Despite being a budget option, the room was comfortable and met my basic needs for a comfortable stay. Noise levels were reasonable, allowing for a peaceful night's rest.

Booked the hotel because of the pool pictures but the rooms were mouldy and the toilet was utterly disgusting. The toilet was mouldy everywhere and the hair dryer was so difficult to turn on. The towels had yellow stains. Worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Booked and payed for a few nights but we ended up leaving after one night because it was a nightmare.

The hotel service i would rate 0, the cleanliness is 0, pls look at the pic, the bedsheet is dirt, the hot water was dirty, too many ants everywhere, I have requested the cleaners to spray 3x, no water dispenser even outside. BTW the swimming pool is clean and more parking lot space.

Good for family, meeting incentive and team building, Excellent Culture performance by staff itself and ***** the longest swimming pool for resort in Langkawi... You will enjoyed very very much and not to forget superb Malay cuisine and Resort with café price for F&B

The hotel is like haunted house . Everywhere leakages , nobody listens , breakfast horrible, lots of insects and diets. Tiles broken everywhere even the lift is too bad. For everything you have to go reception. Please please please don’t waste your money in this cheap property.. we face lots of issue in two days stay 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔☹️☹️😣😣😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Very good pool, good open area. Huge car parking. Near to minimart and excellent food eateries. However lack in maintenance.

The rooms are poorly maintained. The toilets were horrible and cannot flush properly. Everything in the room seems to be tearing apart. The sheets were not clean. The curtains were dusty and dingy. Pool.was filthy and filled with algae. However, the staff were fantastic and the location is at the end of Cenang beach. A lot of potential if they can do renovation to the many rooms and clean up the pool.

This hotel used to be so popular. i am expecting something like they show in the website. unfortunately, this place is nowhere there. service is good, staff so kind. i understand it is not a new hotel. however i hope it is well maintained. air cond ledge so dirty, lift is broken and dark. lucky i am with family or else i will be scared. WB pipe water flow so slow, probably clogged. silicone at toilet is mouldy. it is dark. this hotel is so close to chenang beach. bfst menu boleh la.

3 family’s book the same resort and sorry to say that we had to move out because the place was not well maintained and the photo was not updated on agoda. everything was a disaster. the only thing is that their customer service was not bad but the rest of it 👎. at night you could hear all kinds of noise from outside the windows which i don’t dare to look at. which i suggest the resort should closed down and do full renovations

Had to switch rooms as ACs wasn't working. Fumigation is not done so the rooms were full of ants and insects. Complimentary breakfast was quiet average too. Overall experience was not good compared to what you see and expect by seeing it online. However the location is amazing. It's near to all the main places which makes it a convenient place to stay.

The hotel is classic, very calm & quiet place, perfect for family stay and who like quiet environment. Big and nice swimming pool for adults and kids. Frontier Entrance look like a garden. Helpful & cooperative in reception and reservations people.

The room is large and pool is beautiful. But so many problems. The toilet so dirty and got rust water. The fridge is smelly. Breakfast don’t have so many dishes. I did come before,it was beautiful but now so bad.. so dirty n old. Should renovate and make it beautiful like old times.. the foods so bad.

The hotel building is quite old. Rooms are ok but bathrooms are too small. Pool is fine. But the breakfast was not good at all. Not many options for breakfast.

The pool was dirty and mouldy, the toilets were dirty, there was dust everywhere in the room,housekeeping did not clean up our room. We did not even have a phone in the room to call housekeeping.The food at breakfast was terrible and we ended up having to eat out. Overall the hotel was a disappointment and if they don't make an effort to upgrade they will start losing customers due to the bad service.

Horrible hotel with insects crawling on the bead head, floor and the bathroom. Staying in the hotel today and found this on the first night. The bathrooms are dirty and not maintained, the bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty when we checked in. When asked to change to a different room, they said all are booked out. There is no way sleeping in this room full of insect and creatures with kids but the staff are very unhelpful and just want to spray them away. Will never like to recommend or stay in this hotel ever.

Room we're specious but really horrible condition. Rusted pipes and and bad bathroom condition. I don't think the change their flow mat in the bathroom... It was off white dirty looking. Cockroach in the bathroom 😬😬 Sadly for those who'd like to chill by the pool side having wine / cocktails / beers - Well the hotel doesn't serve alcohol 😒. Like what's the point coming all the way to Langkawi staying in this run down place with no alcohol. The only thing nice thing about this hotel is the pool.

Very good experience, clean swimming pool, tasty breakfast and sure u have all the shops near by so can save the taxi fare. A perfect resort to stay if u ever visit langkavi✌🏻

The hotel is good. Room is big and spacious the service was very fast and good when requesting for towel and room service. Just that need to do some renovation. The hotel is a old building, but satisfied and will come agian in future..I enjoy staying here.. swimming pool was nice too. Reception was friendly.

Recommend to stay away and choose another hotel. I thought might be value for money, but was mistaken. Swimming pool was the worst. Don't go by the picture, it just looks gigantic. The pool was so dirty, I literally got out of the pool as soon as I realized it. Washroom was dirty, rust everywhere and free cockroaches. Water kettle had rust; towels had stains. No room service on the last day even after calling multiple times, let alone cleaning it on their own. Breakfast was the only thing that was fine. Location is good as well- walking distance to the market area. The management has a lot of work to do- they own a huge space, with parking space, big pool and a lot of greenery. They can easily renovate it, but it seems are waiting for a miracle.
