Maquis La Cannelle

Restaurant

👍 Great, cheap Beninese fare. I usually get the rice with cassoulet with a few fried cheese cubes. Has the usual selection of Beninese and Nigerian beers at normal prices. Features a projection screen for watching soccer games etc.

Cheap Beninese food that is well prepared. They also offer a great salad. It is a lovely place to get a drink as the mango trees provide shade and a nice atmosphere and the music is not too loud. The service isn't great, however.

Nice setting below the mango trees. Good Beninese cuisine and large choice of dishes and sauces. Good plan to be calm.

The go-to restaurant for Peace Corps Volunteers in the area. They have a wide variety of beninese foods available from early in the morning to late at night. Their prices are higher than street vendors, but it's worth it for the location and comfort. The service can be hit or miss, but most of the wait staff is very kind. I typically order their haricots cassoulets avec riz, sauce légume, et trois fromages (beans, rice, veggie sauce, and three cheeses) (≈900CFA). You can also order a typical beninese salad complete with spaghetti and fries starting around 19H.

Top meals and service with a fairly varied range of dishes, both African and European, from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Frame offering three landscape choices: 1- Under the mango trees breathing pure air like in the countryside 2- On the terrace or the hall reminiscent of an urban city 3- In the VIP “Le bleu” for discretion

The cinnamon is great with the black paste and the peanut sauce... That's all I get there. There are two servants who do their job well and well...
