Das Schöne am Ort ist, dass die Promenade nicht komplett mit hohen Bauten zugepflastert wurde, sondern ein breiter Strand wie auch wunderschöne saubere Dünen den Besucher erfreuen und daran erinnern, dass er sich mitten im Nationalpark Opale befindet, hier wurde sehr viel richtig gemacht.

Beautiful beach. Nice dunes. Lots of free parking everywhere. The town is a little run down with ugly concrete hotels and a big parking lot in the Center. So go here for the beach, not for the Culture or the City.

While the beach has great quality sand and lots of it, there is absolutely no shade anywhere. There are activities on the beach, but few that would suit a family with children. Sainte Cécile town equally has nowhere to go for shade other than the local businesses. The town car parks full up quickly from about 10am, which means a fair walk from a side street to the beach if you're not lucky. Don't bother heading into town for breakfast. While many restaurants are open at breakfast time, none serve breakfast. The beach has no seating of any kind, not even to rent.

I love this place. Visit every year. Lovely beach with a lovely restaurant just off the beach.
